This wonderful place was exactly what I was looking for on my final week of a trip to Italy. I wanted a place to rest and enjoy nature in a gentle, relaxing way. My room was quiet, private, clean and well maintained, and I was able to rest and enjoy the week with a lot of long, restorative walks around...

We had a very nice stay at Casale Le Crete. Fabiana and her family were very friendly and welcoming. We did a wonderful weekly trekking in the Abruzzo with their donkeys. We enjoyed the food, which was of high quality, biological and regional.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a couple of days in October. We arrived late and was warmly greeted by Fabiana & Luca. They are terrific hosts, and make sure that all of your needs are taken care off. They would ask us for our plans every morning, and make suggestions on what to do, and how to best...

Trekking with donkeys is an amazing adventure! The family is so helpful and organized. They offer delicious and organic homemade food. The landscape in this part of Italy is beautiful and peaceful. It was a magical time in Abruzzo.

we stayed for few days with Fabiana and her family in this lovely b&b nestled among Marsica mountains and close to an historic Italian Borgo. Their extensive knowledge of the local environment and history of the place gave us a clear idea of what woyld be like to live here. Trekking and hiking galore in this neck of the woods...literally....

Last winter my boyfriend and I were travelling through Abruzzo and hoped to visit open-minded, interesting and beautiful places to visit. We were drawn to Casale Le Crete for its location, which is off the beaten track. People who seem to find this place are attracted to its excellent vegetarian/home-made catering and the special feature of walking/orienteering holidays (either on...

If you want to avoid loud tourists and the summer heat, enjoy your stay at Le Crete, just a few miles from Tagliacozzo. You need a car to reach the B&B, you'll find it hidden among trees and bushes. Pay attention to directions, otherwise call the owners, they'll help you find your way. Breakfast is prepared with attention and genuine...

We had planned to stop in Tagliacozzo to break up the long drive from Puglia back to the airport in Rome, and found good reviews for this place here on TripAdvisor. We couldn't agree more with previous reviews describing a calming, relaxing, peaceful stay (and cool night sleep, as opposed to anywhere else in Italy during a heatwave like this)....
