We initially chose to stay here because reviews praised the cleanliness of this relatively new hotel. In fact, the hotel was too new since it was still under construction during our stay. There were missing toilet papers and mirrors in the washroom, no wifi or TV in the room and all furniture in the room were coated in a layer of dust. The construction went on from the morning until 8-9pm at night and it was somewhat disturbing.

Having said that, the service this hotel provided was excellent. The staff brought us extra fleece blankets due to the cold weather, replenished our water supplies, haggled prices with tutu drivers for us and gave us free breakfast!

The hotel is also relatively close to Mahabodhi temple and all the major temples and shrines in Bodh Gaya. The surrounding area of the hotel is very safe and quiet which makes a great place for morning walk. The wide, open-area balcony of the second floor also allowed a great sunset view.

We will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Bodh Gaya.

We had a ring ceremony at Mahamaya palace, bodhgaya. Our relatives 200 people came and had a ceremony in the hall. The hall was very big and enough capacity to hold big ceremony. Our family members and relatives were very satisfied with the service. Foods were also very good. And the staffs were very good. Thanks.

the hotel was recommended to us by our cab driver. But, it was a really bad experience. Our room had no proper ventilation, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom sink clogged up frequently. Overall, we were glad when we got out of there.

This seems like a new property. It is located right on the river. The views could be stunning but they are obstructed by very high balcony walls and almost no window opening in the room I stayed in.
The rooms have garish color choices and long tube lights with limited lighting in the room. The bathroom had a bath tub but no shower curtain so the whole bathroom got wet.
The property is mainly a conference center which also has some rooms. The staff is attentive and often too attentive in their enthusiasm. A few different came in early on just to make sure I knew to switch on the hot water heater; another one came in to check on the toilet seat operation; etc.
Except for the enthusiastic staff the whole place would be a disaster.
Will probably not stay there again if I have a choice.

This hotel is very clean, economical, very well behaved staff. Away from the hustle bustle of the bodh Gaya city. You can walk down to the main temple in 15 mins, lovely staff to help u out at any part of the day. I will visit this place again.

home away from home....great facilities provided with all basic amenities.the rooms were well up to the mark.clealiness was the prime concern of ours we did get it here.
though its 5 minutes distance from the main tourist spot it provides an exellent stay away from the hussel bussel of crowd....its beyond the river niranjana thus avoids rush traffic and sound pollution.....its a complete worth what we paid for

We stayed here from Dec 30, 2018 to Jan 1, 2019. This place is a big property in the middle of no where. The rooms were big and comfortable. But we did not get any hot water in the rooms, that was terrible considering it was December and very cold in this part of the country. The main temple is just a few KMs from the hotel. you cant walk down, but you get local autoriskshaws. The TVs in our rooms were huge, but they were not working. But we never bother about TVs in hotel rooms, as we hardly stay in the rooms. But the intercoms was also not working and we could not call the reception or the room service. We had to go call them literally for every small thing. We asked for hot water, we got a bucket of really like cold water after an hour and after repeated reminders. That was really disappointing, especially while we had kids and old people travelling with us.

But the main issue was when we booked a taxi for sight seeing with the hotel. They charged us for a big SUV, but when the car arrived the next day, it was a small car. We had to argue with the driver and he called up another car. But this guy had got his two small kids along for sightseeing with us. My wife got worried, as the kids were too small (4 and 6 year old) and we did not take this car as well. But the hotel staff was supportive all along and they understood our point-of-view. Then they got us a big car, all this cost us almost half the day. Then when we actually went out, we just visited only one place out of the half a dozen places listed in the itinerary. I felt the car driver purposefully took us to the most crowded place as it was new year day and we just got stuck in the traffic for 2 hours. But no question of reducing the price by even 1 rupee even though we traveled very less. Both the driver and the hotel staff were very professional in not giving us any discount for the ride and collecting the complete amount.

But the hotel let us keep our luggage in the reception area for almost half a day when we were out sight seeing and checked out of the rooms early. The nigh dinner was pathetic, I usually dont get sick, but even I got sick because of the food. The restaurant is not fast moving and I think the food was not as fresh enough. I wouldn't recommend any non-veg food here. Overall it was a mixed feeling here. They have to change their attitude, they cant keep thinking this is more than what you can get in Bihar!
