NUMBER OF ROOMS
Excellent stay. Nice room, attentive staff led by warm caring family. Good food and interesting wine making to watch. The pool was very nice, lovely scenery and walks, and the autumn colours were amazing.
Super nice hotel where you feel like a guest at home of the big welcoming family. Our kids were welcomed too. Georgian food culinary workshop was fun as well as wine tasting. Should have stayed longer, three days was too short period.
Loved my stay here. Came with 3 friends towards the end of wine season and couldn’t believe how undiscovered this spot seemed. We were one of two parties at the place. Their restaurant was delicious, their wine was quite tasty, but it was the service that stood out. They were super friendly. They built us a fire on our first night and then the next day arranged mountain bikes for us to go on a sunrise bike ride. Loved our stay.
I must confess I wasn't expecting to find such an incredible hotel out in the middle of no where! You have to take a bumpy dirt road to get there, but then...vineyards and what looks like an old castle. The grounds are so beautiful. The service was great. We were checked in quickly, and with a smile. The rooms are good size, and very comfortable. There is a refrigerator, and AC. Great views. Only complaint about the room, is no where in the shower to put soap, shampoo etc in the shower. A small shelf or rack of some kind would help. The towels are air dried, so they are rather scratchy but considering how great everything else was, it is easy to look past. Dinner was delicious. Since you are in the middle of no where, dinner and breakfast are eaten at the hotel. My only suggestion...a better breakfast menu. For an English speaker it was very hard to understand. Everything was just listed, and didn't really make sense. We had no idea what were could order...what we were ordering...it should be an easy fix if you ask for some help. Also, their wine is very delicious. We did a short hike in the am, that left from behind the hotel. It goes up to a small very old church and affords great views. This is a beautiful hotel, being run by people who clearly care. Great stay.…
Me and my wife spent 1 night here. The place is nice and quiet. The view and the swimming pool are nice. The food is good too. At this hotel there is nothing to do. Its a place where you can only relax or lay down at the swimming pool. When we arrived in the morning, we asked for a wine tour and tasting at the farm, the receptionist told us that probably wouldnt be possible. They charge for 3 wine tasting 10 euro. When you come to a wine farm, you expect to have this tour and tasting included on the price or at least easy to do. It looked problematic for them to go and talk about their own wines, so we skipped that and we bought 2 bottles of wine which was cheaper. Lol. We paid for 1 night with breakfast 92 €. They charged for drinking water as well. We spent the night before at Schuchmann estate and it was cheaper. They offered wine tasting with 4 wines, couple of different cheese, ham and bread. They have all kind of amenities there. Georgia is a beautiful country and their hospitality is great but there is a lot of things to learn about the service. I agree with the opinion that this hotel is more like a B&B, there is not even a kettle to make yourself a tea in the room.…
