We stayed for 10 nights, with 2 children aged 1 and 3 and also the in-laws. The garden was so beautiful and the beach was also amazing! So refreshing swimming in the ocean, you can also snorkel right from the beach and you see some house reef with colorful fish. My 3 year old loved it. The one bedroom villa was wonderful, the outdoor shower was just so nice. We all had a really good time, especially our 2 boys! The nanny that we’re looking after our kids we’re so wonderful. We wanted to take them back with us to Melbourne. Everyone loved the food except me as a vegan. There weren’t many choices and the first few days I ate pretty much the same thing for lunch as they didn’t really catered for vegan. They also ran out of non dairy milk which was quite disappointing for this high end resort. Service was Fijian time. The gym was great, fully equipped and clean. We have never return to any resorts, no matter how fantastic it was but we would return to Kokomo for the great nanny service they provide. Can’t wait to be back. Though, I hope they will up their vegan game when we return.

Best organized and cleanest of any of the many Fiji resorts we have visited.. Absolute luxury with a Fijian flair. Great activity options or rest by your private pool. 3 dining options and no set times make it easy to be there. This is private and intimate for couples especially. The food and fishing are spectacular and staff helpful and friendly. You will want to return.

Recently my husband and I visited Kokomo Private Island Resort. It is a lovely island with incredible beautifully maintained gardens. We stayed for eight nights in a sunrise villa and we very much enjoyed our stay. The villa is designed with attention to detail that made our stay comfortable and pleasant.  The staff worked exceptionally well. I would like to specifically mention Leba, the main restaurant manager, who really had a magic wand and created everything we wanted for ourselves without any hesitation.  We highly recommend to everyone to try Kokonda - a Fijian raw fish salad. This dish was an absolute delight for breakfast.  If you like to have your dinner served in your villa, then you have to ask the lovely Charlie, who will set your table in the best Fijian style. I had the great pleasure of having three body treatments, including one facial, at Kokomo Island Spa, where I was served by the senior therapist Maria. She is a highly skilled professional with great knowledge, and I had a lot of joy spending my time in the Spa and being treated by the lovely Maria. Every time we needed a transfer to anywhere we wanted to go within the island, we had a very special KokoLimo ride (we created this special name for the 8-seater golf cart). We highly recommend catching a ride and having fun talking to your driver - Netani. He presented me with the most touching birthday card on the day of my special birthday. All of the staff at the resort are amazing, and they made our stay there exceptional and memorable. A huge thanks to all of them! Food: We have been visiting a lot of high-end luxury resorts including in Tahiti, Fiji and Maldives. For a luxury resort, as Kokomo positions itself on the market, we don't think they fit into the exceptional bracket. All the food is fresh and tasty, but very simple and with basic presentation. It was more like street food without any really unique or outstanding elements. One big downside were the desserts and pastries - they need a big improvement. They were of a three star resort standard, rather than luxury. In conclusion, we would recommend this resort for a visit, but we believe it is overpriced for what is offered. It is a solid 5 star resort by Fijian standards, but not a premium luxury resort by international standard.

Yes Kokomo is expensive, but it was worth every cent. From the food to the service and the rooms, everything was incredible. My husband, 3.5 year son and I had a fantastic 6 nights on the island. We had 2 nights on the sunrise side and 4 nights on the sunset side of the island. While both sides are nice, I would definitely recommend the sunset side. It's far less windy and of course you get the beautiful sunsets. The water is also a lot less choppy. Each villa is assigned their own nanny which we didn't know before we arrived. While we didn't use the nanny a lot, it was still nice to have her there just for a little extra help. Our son had a blast. The island is so well equip for children, they won't want to leave. The food is just incredible... so fresh and tasty. I don't think we had one bad meal while we were on the island. I would go back in a heartbeat!!!

My husband I have just returned from our first trip to Kokomo and I can honestly say that it won't be the last! It is really quite a long journey from the UK but was worth every mile travelled! We have visited some incredible places over the years and have high expectations from our holidays but this resort exceeded them all. From the minute you arrive in Fiji, to the minute you leave you are truly looked after. The private lounge at the hanger was amazing- sipping on champagne before heading out on the seaplane was wonderful. The journey across was comfortable and breathtaking. On arrival at Kokomo, we were greeted by the staff singing to us! We were made to feel so special. We stayed in Villa 8. The Villa had a breathtaking view which we never got sick of looking at. We couldn't take our eyes away from it. I definitely felt this side of the island was special. The Villa was out of this world- champagne on ice when we got to our Villa and lots of nibbles and soft drinks available in the villa throughout out stay. The Villa is so well furnished and designed and we loved it! The housekeeping maintained the villa perfectly and the gardens are beautifully cared for. Time on the island was never an issue. There never appeared to be any set meal times as such and everything seemed to be at our pace. We often ate lunch and dinner late and this was never a problem. In fact the staff knew we were late eaters and catered for us when we were hungry! The food was plentiful and delicious. We occasionally asked for food that was not on the menu and that was not a problem. Nothing was ever too much trouble! We had a very relaxing trip and only ventured away from the sun lounger once, to go to the spa. This was very relaxing and worth a visit. What we brought away from our stay was how lovely the Fijian's really are. They are all so friendly and happy. They remembered our names and always asked if we were ok. I think we were a bit of a novelty to the staff as they didn't hear a British accent very often so they all found speaking to us pretty cool! The staff all made time to talk and everyone said 'Bula' all the time! The Manager often checked on us to ensure we were ok and this was a lovely touch. We were not a number in this resort- we were made to feel very welcome. While we were away we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The staff set up a private dining location for us, for our evening meal which was so thoughtful and very unexpected. The table was decorated with flowers and the area was lit with fairy lights. It was really special. On our departure, the staff sung to us and I cried! I really didn't want to leave and we have vowed to return. We have never been to a resort more than once (as we always think that it will never be the same again), but we will make that long journey again one day as we would never bore from returning to this paradise. This has to be the best place we have visited in the world ever! This is heaven! I just wish we lived closer. So if you are considering visiting Kokomo; don't think about it, just book it!

We absolutely loved our stay here, for so many reasons! It really is a slice of paradise. We enjoyed our 3 night stay in villa number 4, which was such a perfect spot to chill out and be amazed at the everchanging view of the infinity pool, the beach on the doorstep, and the turquoise water beyond! From the sumptuous bed, to the vast walk in robe, to the luxurious toiletries, it was all delightful. We just wished we could have stayed for longer!!! Andrew is the resort Manager, and he was just so lovely to chat with, so professional and personable and very passionate about the island and the people. We arrived by seaplane and departed by helicopter, both such special ways of travelling! The quality and attention to every single detail was superb, from the housekeeping, to the divine food, to the choice of restaurants and the laundry service. Nothing was overlooked. We went to Walker d'Plank restaurant twice while we were here and Caroline was just such a passionate and lovey lady who really knew how to cook! What a delight to enjoy her cooking whist sipping on a cocktail and watching the turtles and baby sharks in the gentle lapping waters in the evening. We simply could not fault this slice of paradise and we will definitely be back again very soon! Thank you!!!

After 2 years of covid restrictions our family decided to travel once again. Having been to Fiji 6 times before and always looking to better our previous experience we chose Kokomo Island. Having previously stayed in Vomo, Turtle, Yasawa, Six Senses and Nanuku our expectations were high. We needed a family friendly island and were could not have been more happy, we stayed in a 2 bedroom beach from villa or should i say a beach home, it had everything you could have asked for and more. Meals have always been and issue for my wife with food allergies a major concerns but here that was a thing of the past, the chefs here ensured all here meals were safe to eat and the food well it was over the top you never went hungry and the variety was extensive you ca n request what ever you desire. Activities were far and wide from deep sea fishing , great snorkeling , scuba diving and many more. We had the pleasure to meet Lang and his extended family and our boys enjoyed many games of table tennis and beach volley ball with them i could see Lang had the same values as i do , family is the back bone to happiness and success. During our stay we experienced the volcano on Tonga eruption , with Kokomo only 450 km away. The island staff were fully organized with all the safety procedures and to ensure the guesses were kept both fully informed and or importantly well feed and the drinks were free flowing a credit to the staff and there ability to deal with any situation they encountered. We look forward to returning in the very near future and would highly recommend Kokomo to any body wanting to have the best holiday you could ask for. Thank you Kokomo and the team from Steve, Lynsey Lachlan and Tyler

Definitely one of the best resorts we have ever been to. Every single detail was considered it was an absolutely perfect stay. The staff at Kokomo were the friendliest we've ever experienced at a resort from the airport lounge staff till the helicopter ride at departure everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The villa was beautiful and spacious, the food was amazing thanks to Chef Caroline, the sports center had a vast of fun options for adults and families with younger children. We couldn't wait to get back to this beautiful resort!

We've stayed at Kokomo for my birthday in January and we had absolutely the best time ever!! There are no words to describe how Amazing this private Island is :) The experience started with an outstanding reservation process. Massive Thanks to Tara Dewar, Adam Nichols and Wani Ratulailai who made the booking and arrival process so smooth and easy. The lounge at the airport had everything we needed to relax while we waited for our sea plane to Kokomo. The sea plane ride was an experience in itself and the views were fantastic! The food at both restaurants was outstanding. Thanks chef for my lovely birthday cake :) The Villa with our private pool was just Perfect. We almost felt like staying all day in it. Leaving aside the Superb food, the variety of activities, the Huge and perfectly decorated villas, the gym with the Amazing view, the location etc, what makes Kokomo so SPECIAL and unique it's their Fantastic team! Martin the General Manager, Jason , Luoie and the entire Kokomo team went above and beyond to make our stay and my birthday so memorable. Everyone was friendly and knew our names, we are still singing the kokomo song 5 months after our visit and we can't wait to be back one day. The only thing that was wrong with our stay was that it was too short! We didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend Kokomo Private Island to everyone visiting Fiji. Thanks kokomo Family , you made our stay one that we'll never forget :)

There is so much to say about this incredible resort but not enough space to write it all down Can’t even talk about the heli ride over or private waiting facility You will find out how outstanding it is when you get there We stayed for a week and for the first few days were the only guests on the island We were the taste testers for the new drink menu (yummy) and some new food creations( to die for). First our villa #3 was impeccable, with anything you could ever dream of having We loved the outside shower and the private pool was a plus. The view and privacy perfect. Walker the plank was our favorite. Being able to order whatever our heart’s desired and watch it being made. I had best fried rice ever. Its casual and served family style Fresh caught seared tuna that melts in your mouth. Breeze, sunsets, watching the fish at night and the waves lapping at the rocks made every evening meal memorable. Hats off to the bartender and chef. Love u guys Beach shack is the main dining area which is just as wonderful. Got a bit warm there at times but you are in Fiji. We were in the water everyday taking a boat trip to somewhere. The marine world is Beautiful beyond words. Our guides, boat captains and helpers were perfect and knowledgeable (Paul ! ) We ran out of beer on one of our trips and holy smokes if a little resort dingy didn’t come zipping out to replenish our supply All the boats and equipment are spotlessly clean We did a golf cart island tour, got to visit one of the HUGE villas and toured the gardens of veggies Hope that little golf course goes in. If you have kids the resort and kids pool are marvelous and game room, don’t go in because you will be having too much fun to leave. Wished we had our grandson with I had private yoga with Leah ( we were the only guests on island) she was awesome, and the sunset view from the chalet so good it was hard to concentrate. Namaste We travel islands all over the world and not one have I ever cried when we left. Kokomo I couldn’t stop crying because i didn’t want to leave EVER I can’t remember everyone’s names but want to thank all for our money well spent time there We will be BACK when the grandson is a bit older Special shout out to Louie. You made our trip memorable and really let us be our casual no pressure selves Missing you and those awesome hibiscus cocktails. Take care and the ice fishing is waiting for you. Thanks again to all may God Bless you and keep you safe Mr Walker you did a fine job 🌴🌞🐠🐟🐡
