How on earth is this hotel 4star? We have just stayed here for 11 nights and could not wait to get home! The hotel is 2star AT BEST!! How anyone rates this place as good must live in squaller Asked to change our room as soon as we got there. The change of room was even worse! Dirty, mouldy bathroom, unmaintained rooms. Roaches roaming around. Photos on Google/tui are not the reality! Entertainment was non existent. Food was absolutely terrible. We were all inclusive yet after the second day, we ate out every single day for breakfast, lunch and dinner! For kid, there was only 2 options the whole 11 days Chips and fish nuggets or chips and meatballs. How anyone rates this place is beyond me. Staff were terrible. Reception staff sit in their office and them Having to move is a a problem. Cleaning staff terrible and just unlock and walk in your room without knocking. This happened 3 times!! Avoid this place at all cost!!

I have just returned back from the Anastasia beach hotel, honestly please ignore silly reviews on this site, the over reaction of some people really is comical! Yes, the hotel is more of a 3 star but it's a good quality 3 star. We were welcomed by a lovely man at reception who quickly checked us in, we also were given sandwiches on arrival which was nice. We had a slight problem with our room as it was the wrong one but it was sorted instantly! Our room was spacious and very clean, the beds were so comfy and we had no problems whatsoever. Maids cleaned every day, we had new towels every day too. The food was lovely, a decent amount of choice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would say that the breakfast could do with more choice but it was fine for us. The all inclusive drinks were amazing, the cocktails were great! The bar staff were really polite and happy, and served us quick. The one downside is the entertainment, we had to go out every night as there was just nothing going on. I would recommend going to the station pub just round the corner!! The aqua park was great and my favourite was the lazy River, I spent most of my time there and it was so relaxing! The hotel could definitely be updated but it's no where near as bad as people are making out, please just don't listen to it. For a cheap holiday and great company, it was worth every penny and I would genuinely return back again!

I have never written a review before but this has to be done. Where do I start this was a massive disappointment for us. We paid £3700 for a 8 night holiday here and it was a nightmare from start to end. We arrived around midnight to be put into a 1950’s style room in a block away from the main hotel. Within 5 minutes of entering the room a cockroach ran across the floor. The room had blood stains up the bedroom curtains and it was very dirty and dated. We had to spend the night there and were given another room in the main hotel the next day. Once we got in there the safe didn’t work and the sink leaked water all over the floor. They fixed these that day. The hotel is very dated and dirty. The toilets in the reception for the first few days were not cleaned and so disgusting I won’t post the photos it’s too disgusting for words. On two occasions our room was not cleaned and when we questioned this on the first occasion we were told that this was due to them having too many check ins and outs that day. We said that was not our fault and the rude receptionist replied “it’s not mine either”. Never have I been away and not had our room cleaned! We complained and they did clean in the evening both times. I believe some people did not have their room cleaned for 4 nights. The food was not great and both myself and my husband had a tummy for several days. We had no choice but to eat out most nights even though we were all inclusive. The worst part for me was that this hotel is opposite a outdoor nightclub and the music would pump out to around 2.30am on the weekends. On one occasion we had to listen to music and a dj swearing all night and using the “F” word very regularly. We have two young kids who had to sleep with earphones on to drown out the swearing and noise. This is not a family hotel! Our kids should not be exposed to this. All week we were being asked to be moved to another hotel. Our tour operator said they were trying to get check out charges and did not get these at all. We didn’t even unpack properly as we were waiting to be moved. On the 5th night we spoke to the manager who was very helpful and the next day offered to move us to another hotel. Unfortunately this was then too late. She said that she had not received any emails about us being moved so no idea what happened here but we were messed about all week but someone. The area is lovely and a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly but the hotel is bad. The water park is also great but again needs cleaning and maintenance plus the life guards don’t watch anyone and sit on their phones and roll cigarettes all day. The hotel is clearly understaffed and the standards are very low. Considering we have just experienced a Covid pandemic, this hotel is shocking. Hand sanitizer always empty, no soap in the mens reception toilet for days, handprints everywhere, carpets by never hoovered - definitely not 4 star! More like a 2 star!! Don’t waste your money look elsewhere. It’s such a shame it could be a lovely hotel.

Steer clear of this hole! Our first holiday abroad in 3 years, devastated. Food disgusting, raw chicken, all completely inedible, rooms dirty, hotel filthy, dead plants, rotten fruit under my sons bed, ants, moth eaten curtains, unkept communal areas, pool areas/communal bathrooms unsanitary, I could go on! Definitely not all inclusive!!

Where to start . Well I'll start by saying, we've had a decent holiday. It isn't as bad as it's made out to be. The pool is great, always seems to be enough sun beds. The food is fairly good with most nights having a good selection, we always found something even if it was soup or salad!. However there is absolutely nothing for fussy kids.. my 11 Yr old lived on chip butties.. but my 15 ur old liked the foods on the buffet. My biggest quibble would be the fact that there's no snack bar, well there is but u can't get food to eat around the pool like most all inclusive hotels. And there was 1 option of ice cream.. banana yuk.. but was 2 days of a chocolate ice cream cooky thing.. there's no snack option until after the lunch dining has gone and that doesn't come out till around 245/3pm ish and u have to eat inside and must wear clothing, unless your grabbing the decent ice lolly that's on at dinner and tea time. Im really picking tbf MUSIC! Wqs loud sat and Sunday till 3 and Monday till midnight as it was Bank Holiday over here. And I mean loud. I perform at huge festivals around Europe and I can tell u it was as loud, tho I had to appreciate the sound quality lol, not so much at 2/3am but the rest of the week was fine, however we were staying at the marlita side.. further away from it.. I wouldn't have been happy if my kids were younger if I'm honest.. now the entertainment.. 1 person. She was a miserable sod. Don't think she smiled the entire week. Didn't go around chatting to anyone like we've seen before. We actually stayed here before but at the marlita side.. the entertainment was Thomas Cook and they were fab. The entire team.. as was the snack bar, this was 9 years ago mind.. since merging ,the entertainment has suffered. Again didn't bother us as our kids are older and make their own entertainment .. I think the 3800 we paid for 1 week was very expensive, unfortunately everything was full and we just wanted to get away..we've had a great week. But wanted to give you a heads up on the negatives especially with young kids... waterpark was a great bonus. 👍 rooms were nice and clean.. again matlita side, I can't comment on the anastasia side

What you see isn’t what you get Clean 6/10 Food 7/10 nothing for kids my teens eat just chips I enjoyed the different nights Location 9/10 right on the beach and walk into town across the walkway beach Entertainment 0/10 absolutely nothing at night time feel so sorry for the only entertainer who try’s here very best Water park is brill my 3 year old enjoyed it but queuing for a bed at 10am when they open. Other pool is cooler no snack bar have to go back inside the restaurant, drinks are brill The maids I give the most credit to they are run off their feet making sure it’s clean but not great but not there fault mangers I blame. The night club across the road well 3am was the lastest they close 12am very loud shaking your room and bed some nights but without a bit of music there would be nothing at night. We aren’t the poshest of people what’s so ever and dont have that high expectations but what you see in the brochure or internet isn’t what you pay for.. It definitely IS NOT an all inclusive

Hotel in all is okay! MAJOR problem is the loud music at night cause of the outside concert next door! You feel the whole room vibrating from the noise and doesn’t end until 3:00 am.. this is definitely not a family hotel and do not recommend it to anyone looking for a good night sleep!!

The hotel advertised, is NOT the hotel you will be staying in. This is part of a 4 building complex, the remaining 3 properties are all closed. Pluses: Waterslides are great fun, if dated. The rooms are decent in size and the complex is in an ideal location for the local amenities. Negatives: Broken glass on bedside cabinets, TV in corner of room, facing out - non adjustable, no plug on the kettle, one dressing gown and one pair of slippers between three of us! Lifeguards not giving a damn about looking after their customers, one constantly walking around with a cigarette in his mouth, two constantly on their mobile phones and one spending more time in the water than out - who had the nerve to try and berate me in front of my son for "jumping" into the pool - I reminded him his job is to offer a visual safety beacon to customers, at which point he continued to argue with me in front of the rest of the customers, stating he was allowed to cool off, funny that - he was the only one of 9 lifeguards who felt that need. The food is bland at best, cold beans, mushrooms & eggs at breakfast, the rice was rock hard EVERY lunch time. One particular sore point: We booked an a la carte restaurant on our third night, we walked the 2 miles to it in 32 degrees, to find it had been shut down. The reception staff were oblivious to this and stated that unless customers reported this, how would they know? NOT MY JOB AS A PAYING CUSTOMER TO UPDATE YOU ON THIS! The "all inclusive" is a lie, twice my son went to get an ice cream from the pool bar, to be told he had to pay for it and I got the same response when I tried to order a plate of fries at lunchtime. The beach, whilst small, is nice, but beware; they charge you to use the sun loungers - something else not advertised! There was no kids club and the only entertainment was watching pool aerobics, where the laptop and speaker were placed 2 feet from the pool edge! The check out time is ridiculous (12 noon) considering you are then expected to sweat the proverbials off until you are picked up 5 hours later! They charge you to weigh your suitcase, so don't bother. They also charge you to use the secure locker to store your cases on the last day, this chews your money if you open the locker - so again don't bother. . I feel particularly disappointed with this holiday as it was our dream to return to Cyprus for our 10th wedding anniversary having honeymooned in Paphos in 2012, where the standards were so, so much better. We shelved out almost £3000 on this holiday and had to reschedule it 3 times due to Covid. Forget about the long transfer times (can’t do anything about that due to geography) and the nightclub across the street (culture, to be expected, others have commented on this). Unfortunately we will never return to this complex and have left Cyprus with more than a tinge of sadness.

We arrived on Tuesday evening, checked in to what we thought would be two lovely hotel rooms, after seeing them on Thomas Cook website, looked amazing. The rooms we were allocated could only be described as something out of the 50’s, dirty, very very dated, and not fit for humans. We were distraught & immediately went back to reception to tell them we absolutely refused to stay in those disgusting rooms. Not only that, there is an open air club right opposite the hotel, the music was so loud that everything in the room shook until 3:00 in the morning. We were told that they didn’t have anything else available until Thursday. We were distraught not least because we had two children in our party, & they had to endure this noise too. We did get moved to two nice rooms, that said I am writing this on our 5th night, the walls are vibrating as I write. The food can only be described as inedible, it is so horrific I can’t find words to say how disgusting it is. My poor grandchildren have lived on chips because they can’t stomach it, nor can we. I could go on, but all I can say is steer well clear of this horrendous place.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to the sea and the swimming pools! This hotel is not suitable for families with small children because there are a lot of BIG DJ parties and concerts right next door! You simply can’t sleep until eg. 3 am. The food here is tragic! There is not a lot to choose from, the variety of food is very poor and it is not tasty at all, the restaurant staff wears dirty clothes and it is very unprofessional… Do not pay for the all-inclusive package, because it simply doesn’t exist! Wifi is only in the lobby of the hotel! The rooms are quite dirty, the bath and bath curtains disgusting, the bed sheets are smelly! Currently no kids club or animation shows! The gym is quite old.
