Anastasia Beach Hotel boasts a prime location favored by many for its beach proximity and ease of access to nearby towns. While the hotel's array of amenities, from water facilities to varied dining and entertainment options, have earned appreciation from guests, some have expressed concerns over lifeguard vigilance and housekeeping. Opinions on cleanliness and room conditions are varied, with comfort meeting criticism over maintenance. The atmosphere is a mixed bag, offering stylish comfort against a backdrop of unwanted nightclub noise. Service experiences range widely, and the value proposition is questioned by guests who expect more for the price.

I have to disagree with many of the bad reviews for this hotel as we have just come back from a 1 week stay and had a really lovely time.

The rooms were lovely and spacious and very clean, the aircon was brilliant and very cool was great to come up from a hot day to a nice chilled room. The only negative I could give was they did not have many cutlery and crockery very basic.

The pool area was lovely and kept nice and clean there was never a problem getting sun beds, the pool bar was great but disappointing they didn't do snack bar food like chips and burgers etc you had to go in to the restaurant for food which was annoying as you had to be dry when on a lunch you just wanted a snack by the pool.

The water park is a great asset and the kids were able to use the slides with there life vests on which was great. The food is not part of the all inclusive package served at the bar which is a real shame and it was quite expensive

The main restaurant was lovely and had plenty of food to choose from typical all inclusive selection but always lots to choose from and the staff were brilliant.

The hotel is situated in a great location and easy access to the beach yes there is a local pub at the entrance which can be noisy some nights but we went in a few times great lay area for kids and brilliant shows and singers.

The biggest negative I can give this hotel is there is no entertainment at all which is a real shame they need to get this sorted asap for the size of the hotel and the attached water park makes it very attractive but there is nothing to do on a night real shame.

Would definitely recommend this hotel is lovely make your own mind up!

Right before I begin do not believe all the bad reviews you see regarding the Anastasia Hotel in Cyprus.
We have just returned from a nine day stay here. On entering the building, it was very pleasant to look at with very helpful reception staff. Rooms were nice with safe, bath and shower. Our safe didn’t work but after informing reception they had another one sent up. Nice table and chairs set up on the balcony. Breakfast was my favourite meal times everybody was catered for. Only gripe I had was the beans were always cold even if we arrived early for breakfast. Lots to choose from with pleasant staff. We did find that our plates were removed from the table as soon as we put our cutlery down which was a little off putting as it looked like they were trying to get rid of you but I’m guessing when it’s the height of the season they will need a quick turnaround. Different theme every night in the dining hall. Clean tables floors etc. snacks during the morning and afternoon. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Cleaning staff work very hard some don’t speak a word of English but with a little bit of miming and patients you can get to understand each other. Be careful of the hot water in the rooms it can come out really really hot so watch out for the kiddies.

The staff are all very nice and helpful. Particular thanks to the Reception staff, the Manager(ess) and the Restaurant controller. This hotel has many good points. It has loads of pools and you can also use the one next to the Malita Hotel which is very nice and the bar where you can get drinks just opening up. The pools within the hotel are great for both adults and chIldren and there is a snack bar there. It plays music and activities take place there.
The food is very nutritious (ten out of ten) with lots of choices. I have to say I did not feel that any of it was repetitive. The bus-stop is a little walk away which can take you to Protara Ayia Napia and also in the other direction to Pernera.
I had a very big problem with the cleaning, towel changIng and facilites in my room (which they changed) but problems continued. They really did try to put it right but did not succeed sadly. I am taking this up with TUI as this spoilt my holiday. If it were not for this I would have given it a 5-star review.

What you see isn’t what you get

Clean 6/10
Food 7/10 nothing for kids my teens eat just chips I enjoyed the different nights
Location 9/10 right on the beach and walk into town across the walkway beach
Entertainment 0/10 absolutely nothing at night time feel so sorry for the only entertainer who try’s here very best
Water park is brill my 3 year old enjoyed it but queuing for a bed at 10am when they open.
Other pool is cooler no snack bar have to go back inside the restaurant, drinks are brill

The maids I give the most credit to they are run off their feet making sure it’s clean but not great but not there fault mangers I blame.

The night club across the road well 3am was the lastest they close 12am very loud shaking your room and bed some nights but without a bit of music there would be nothing at night.

We aren’t the poshest of people what’s so ever and dont have that high expectations but what you see in the brochure or internet isn’t what you pay for..
It definitely IS NOT an all inclusive

We couldn't wait to get home.
The hotel is dirty, rooms are not cleaned properly if at all, the hotel is badly maintained and needs a complete refurb.
sheets not changed for the whole of our 2 week trip, towels in room are taken away and not replaced, took 5 days to get handtowels and extra pillows, when pillows arrived they were stained and lumpy.
Beds are the most uncomfortable we have ever had to endure, we didn't sleep for the whole holiday.
The hygeine standards in the restaurant leave a lot to be desired, staff obviously have no training.
The staff at this hotel are all miserable or rude and don't have any pride in their work.
The beach is across a busy road and gates from the garden are chained up
There is an open air nightclub and the noise is horrendous, heavy metal band playing from mid afternoon until the early hours, this is advertised as quiet and relaxing resort, far from it, if you sit in the garden the music from the bar is so loud there is no time to relax.
I could go on but it would take forever. There is nothing good about this hotel which is advertised as 4 star, please be warned and don't book you will regret it.

I'm not one to write reviews but after two weeks at the Anastasia Hotel in Cyprus I feel like I need to make people aware of our issues before booking to stay here. We stayed at the hotel from 09.07.24 - 24.07.24.
On arrival at the hotel at 10pm we discovered the bathroom bin was still overflowing with nappies from the previous guests and the travel cot for our youngest was dirty. We complained and they gave us a different travel cot and a bottle of wine as an apology. We hoped that would be our one and only issue during the holiday but unfortunately not!
Most days we were left with no towels in our room and we had to phone down to reception each day to ask for towels to be sent up.
Two days in a row our room had not been cleaned so I went down to reception to complain and was met with a very rude receptionist who just gave me excuse after excuse. On the days that our room had been "cleaned" it definitely was not up to a four star standard! The floors were rarely cleaned and the balcony hadn't been touched. As for the carpets in the lobby I noticed they had been hoovered once during our two week stay.
The cleanliness throughout the hotel wasn't great. Highchairs were left dirty at lunchtime from breakfast time and floors obviously not being cleaned after each mealtime.
As for the staff they give the impression they don't want to be there and couldn't care less. Zero customer service. They push in front of you when trying to get food at the buffet and just shrug their shoulders when you ask for things. Majority of staff use their phones or vapes while working (life guards, cleaners, waiters and even the chefs!). The lady making the omelettes even had a FaceTime one morning while making the omelettes.
Food is average. There are also four restaurants you can use on your all inclusive. However they are located in centre of Protaras which is a 25 minute walk or €10 taxi each way.
I've never been so disappointed to spend £4,000 on a holiday.

We arrived on Tuesday evening, checked in to what we thought would be two lovely hotel rooms, after seeing them on Thomas Cook website, looked amazing. The rooms we were allocated could only be described as something out of the 50’s, dirty, very very dated, and not fit for humans. We were distraught & immediately went back to reception to tell them we absolutely refused to stay in those disgusting rooms. Not only that, there is an open air club right opposite the hotel, the music was so loud that everything in the room shook until 3:00 in the morning. We were told that they didn’t have anything else available until Thursday. We were distraught not least because we had two children in our party, & they had to endure this noise too. We did get moved to two nice rooms, that said I am writing this on our 5th night, the walls are vibrating as I write. The food can only be described as inedible, it is so horrific I can’t find words to say how disgusting it is. My poor grandchildren have lived on chips because they can’t stomach it, nor can we. I could go on, but all I can say is steer well clear of this horrendous place.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to the sea and the swimming pools! This hotel is not suitable for families with small children because there are a lot of BIG DJ parties and concerts right next door! You simply can’t sleep until eg. 3 am.
The food here is tragic! There is not a lot to choose from, the variety of food is very poor and it is not tasty at all, the restaurant staff wears dirty clothes and it is very unprofessional…
Do not pay for the all-inclusive package, because it simply doesn’t exist! Wifi is only in the lobby of the hotel!
The rooms are quite dirty, the bath and bath curtains disgusting, the bed sheets are smelly! Currently no kids club or animation shows! The gym is quite old.

This is a hotel that has been slightly neglected of late , I’m assuming because of covid . The staff were really nice and there were a couple of stand out people , the waitress who looked out for us in the buffet restaurant and the pool bar man who doesn’t slow down at all ,keeps going all day . And the entertainment guy Alex who was trying hard to get people involved.
We were all inclusive and the food was reasonable and well presented, couldn’t complain at all , we just like to eat out also
The drinks are okay , local produce , the lager is good
There is a night club across the road that plays loud music to quite a late time , didn’t bother me too much but did annoy some in my group .
I would say the Cypriot people were very nice and would recommend this hotel , just don’t set your expectations to exceed what the hotel is , and you’ll have a great time here

The hotel is a 10 euro taxi ride from the main area , where there are lots of restaurants and bars , all average prices

Arrived at hotel before midnight and were greeted by older gentelman at reception - Theodore as far as I remember. Very nice and welcoming, provided us with essential information. We managed to get a drink at lobby bar Aliosha and another young bartender got us a good drinks and chatted about things we could visit. Off to the room which was on 2nd floor overlooking pool and slides. In the fridge we found sandwiches, fruit and soft drinks. Room was spacious - enough for me, my wife and 14teen year old son. Matress not new but together with topper it was perfect ( during our stay mid October we noticed removal of old mattreses and replaced with brand new, thick ones on the ground floor ) Room and bathroom was clean ( no odours and no chemicail air fresheners ). Furniture not new but in good shape - most importantly everything worked. Massive quality curtains that kept room %100 dark and cool in the morning. We checked AC - working no problem, pushing fresh cool air. We were aware of a problem with adjacent establishment playing loud music till late at night, but in our room we hardly heard anything. At Breakfast restaurant busy, not a massive variety to choose from BUT all fresh and quality, well prepared. If one thing run out, it was promptly topped up. Food for Lunch and dinner was great with plenty choices, every night a diffrent theme. Dinner time you'd be shown to the table by very cheerful gentelman - Kyriakos. Juices artificial, but tasted good and I could not care less. The location of hotel is perfect - short walk to Protaras one way or Pranrea the other. Pool and slides attended by several lifeguards that appear to be not paying attention, but are really quick to intervene. My son and I we've tested their attention by doing some mischief. I kept coming to reception all the time to chat about just anything, Agnieszka - polish receptionist was very nice and attentive. I kept bothering them for some nonsense like getting a bag for seeds I collected or to take picture of me and my son. I dont know who the manager of the hotel was, but at the same time I had no reason to speak to one, the whole 10 days of our stay ware perfect.

In general its a good place with hard working people and they really do try to make your stay a pleasure and I do sincerely hope management take notice of some negative comments from other guests ( especially those corridors carpets that never seen a hoover during our stay, Come on !! So easy to sort out and would make positive outlook ) The place has huge potential, and would recommend it.
