Villa Lemonia is situated at the center of Kythera island, on a prominent location at Vamvakaradika settlement. The location it stands in is characterized by outstanding view of the traditional settlement Aroniadika, also in the summer months it offers a bedazzling sunset. The site of the complex favours the exploration of the island and a visit to the most important tourist points to the north and to the south of the island (settlements, monasteries, beaches etc.). Villa Lemonia combines excellent architectural elements of the island's tradition, the sweet detail and the modern decoration and aesthetics. Excellent services, nice view at the rest private areas of all the apartments and warm hospitality by Ellie and Vassilis. A small guesthouse in the countryside, for those who will decide to visit Kythera from June to September, seeking something different. Feel like home away from home.
We first visited Villa Lemonia in 2007, we wrote the first review on 2014... and this year we had our 10th visit anniversary !!!
Villa Lemonia after all these visits feels like home to us, and this is always thanks to the family running it. Litsa in the past and now her son Vasilis with his wife Elli and their cute little daughter
Every year they try to improve / update the services offered. Since our review in 2014, there is now an Nespresso machine in the rooms, wifi, and fresh eggs for breakfast every day. and these in addition to the paximadia, wine and home made marmalades..

We spent one month in Villa Lemonia. Vassilis and Eli are far more then just the owners and managers of the Villa, they are the friends that everyone would like to meet abroad. They gave us lot of good advices about restaurants, beaches, place to visit etc. Every evening, coming back from the beach, we found a surprise in our studio: homemade jam, cookies, cakes, fresh fruit or just some flowers from their garden. The room is spacious and very clean. The location is perfect: right in the very centre of Kythira so you can reach all the destinations in 20 min. Definitely a place to go (and go back)

A wonderfully restored old Kythira house, located conveniently close to the center of the island and perfectly blended with the unique surrounding environment. The owner is helpful and considerate offering welcome drinks, traditional goodies and a 5-star daily cleaning service at reasonable prices.

I really liked Villa Lemonia. The place is great and the location is very convenient. We were able to drive from it to the whole island. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Their recommendations and tips about where to eat, to drink and to swim were top notch. Big big help! I also appreciated their offering of homemade marmelades and muffins. I am definetely recommending this place!

Beautiful accomodation in a house that preserved its original style. The rooms are spacious, tasty and clean. What makes this place special is not just its original style but many little touches like a free bottle of wine, homemade jams in the fridge, espresso and filter coffee, high quality bathroom amenities, and helpful, super-friendly and polite owner who couldn't do more to make you feel taken care of.

simple copy place, clean, easy to find, good location, decent people. rates are very good comparing to what is offered. moreover, a gift bag was left in our room for us, great gesture. happy to be there and hope to visit then again soon.

We stayed at Villa Lemonia two weeks between July and August. The location is very central, the best to discover the island comfortably in each of its parts. The elegance of the traditional greek architecture and furniture is impressive. The apartment is very clean and well refined in every detail. The owners, Vassilis, Elli and their terrific daughter, are warm, discrete, helpful , friendly, skillful... just beautiful people! An excellent choice if you want to visit Kithira Island. The houses are clean, very nice, with a Kithirian Character, centrally located in the middle of the island and about 10-20 min from everything on the island. Vassilis and Ellie were always very polite and helpful. Vasilis recommendations on restaurants and places to visit were excellent. I would definetely visit Kithira again, and of course contact Vasilis for accomodation.
