This has been the best vacation I have had during my visit to Uganda which sadly has come to an end. The food is awesome, thank you Dorcus, Hillary and Richard for the exceptional care. The forest walks, bonfires by the beach and jet skis were my absolute favourites. The view from the Deluxe room is absolutely awesome. I am definitely coming back next year.

I visited Victoria Forest Resort in Ssese/Kalangala island with my wife and 6 month old son and the place was awesome! The staff were so friendly and kind, the booking process was seamless just one phone call and all was organized! Their local food was all I have wanted after having lot of junks in Kampala and their chef knew what he was doing in his kitchen! Their swimming pool is so far the best and cleanest I have been in the whole of Uganda! I love swimming so much and I can say they have kept their swimming pool clean! May be they should spice up the swimming pool by putting the sun lounger the normal seats there don't really work well! Not complaining though! Their rooms are specious and the room services are on point! The baby court added in my room for our son was so helpful! Their shower works perfectly well and you don't have to wait for minutes for warm water it is almost instant! The views from my rooms reminded me of Zanzibar, Diani and the Seychelles! Last but not least many thanks to the mzee (old chap) cleaning the beach who was so friendly to us and even picked some fresh mangoes for us! Unfortunately y did not get his name. Many thanks for making our stay so memorable! We will come again with friends next time! Asante sana! Our many thanks to MV Nathalie, they dropped and picked us from the resort!…

Victoria Forest Resort is a great place in kalangala to visit. Ambiance, lake breeze, wonderful customer care, amazing food... name it all. Literally gorgeous. Can't wait to go back and would recommend any other person to go to VFR

Stayed for three nights as a team of five couples. The tailored service was so excellent. The manager Emmanuel and his team catered to our every need. I highly recommend Victoria Forest. The quality of service made us feel so comfortable we didn't want to leave. We look forward to being back soon

room: dirty, animal droppings, dusty food: no menu, we were told to just order something and if they have it they can make it because if they give us their menu there's no guarantee they have the items so just think of something and order it location: only saving grace

Save your money and time and stay away from this unsanitary place. Slow customer service, dirty rooms and I mean dirty- bedsheets, towels and dust everywhere. I’m not sure what standards they abide by but they need to glide this hotel.

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve been to. It is insect infested, unclean and just overall disappointing. Please do not waste your time- the view is true only worthwhile aspect other than that the food is tasteless, service slow, rooms unclean.
