Our second time at Emporio. Stunning location, just 1 min walk from stunning blue clear sea in the beautiful bay of Nimborio. Claire, Andrew and team do an excellent job of making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed in Oleander room which is luxurious with kitchen facilities. Breakfast is delicious whilst sitting on terrace overlooking the bay. Thank you to all the staff, hope to return soon.

We followed our stay at The Old Markets in the harbour area with four nights at Emporio which is in a heavenly location right by the sea. Claire, the manager, was really wonderful and super helpful as was Yannis who helped with breakfasts as well as transport and many other things. Thank you as well to our housekeeper whose name I did not catch. All the staff were top class. We chose the Oleander Cottage which has a rustic charm and all conveniences. We hired a scooter to get around the island which was super fun as well as taking boat trips. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you to all the staff.

We couldn’t recommend Emporio more - from the stunning breakfasts of homemade granola and fresh fruits and juice, to the still blue waters right beneath the hotel. The hotel is a lovely 30 minute walk from the harbour, and can also be reached by taxi boat or taxi. There is a great selection of restaurants close to the hotel (including a lovely beach taverna a couple minutes down the road) and the hotel itself offers a delicious dinner several nights a week - highly recommend the lemon linguine and raspberry soufflé! The rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious, super comfortable and great for relaxing in after a day at the sea. The staff were particularly Covid conscientious, lots of anti bac around the place and the staff all wore masks during breakfast and cleaning the rooms. Felt totally safe at all times. Go go go, you absolutely won’t regret a trip here!

I love this place and this is a returning visit. The hotel is beautiful with individual and unique rooms overlooking the most beautiful quiet bay. Calm waters allow you to swim in the water just a few meters away. The staff are just the right level of attentive and professional but also friendly and warm. The breakfast is a particular delight under the arches overlooking the sea. Homemade granola with honey and yoghurt is my favourite. Very nearby are a few tavernas and if you want more you can walk to town (30 mins stroll along the seafront) or get the water taxi every hour. Really, one of my favourite places in the world.

This was a returning visit and again it was completely amazing and I didn’t want to leave. The staff were so careful and lovely. The breakfast is simply wonderful overlooking the gorgeous bay. Calm, waters just metres away that are lovely to swim in. So calm and peaceful with sun loungers and terraces for each room.

If you want a quiet, beautiful , unspoilt holiday on a crystal clear waters in luxuriously appointed small hotel then this is the place for you . This is our sixth visit to this slice of paradise in the last four years and it never fails to disappoint . The staff are warm, welcoming and competent professional . The breakfasts and dinners are exceptional — fresh squeezed juices, homemade granola , Greek yoghurt and island honey . Freshly caught fish. Raspberry soufflé for dessert . And there’s a local taverna and restaurant nearby And the wonderful harbour is only a short walk away. The rooms are so tasteful and a dream to sleep in. And best of all, there is simply the best swimming right from your doorstep . If you’re looking for a break from the madness of the world — this is a safe, beautiful escape run by a warm and welcoming team . Go.

We have previously stayed at the sister hotel The Old Markets in Symi and decided to visit Emporio as a treat for our Ruby (40th) wedding anniversary, staying in the Oleander Cottage room. We had a fantastic, relaxing stay. The location is superb in the quiet bay of Nimborio where you can be on the beach and swimming within a few minutes. The bay is calm and ideal for swimming and snorkelling; we also took advantage of use of the inflatable canoe a couple of times! The Oleander Cottage is a tastefully furnished room with kitchen ,which offers privacy from the rest of the villa and a terrace with breathtaking views. We enjoyed the excellent cuisine at both Emporio and The Old Markets with complimentary champagne and wine for our anniversary celebration meal. The villa is stylish and immaculately presented with excellent staff. Many thanks to Andrew, Claire, Janis and the team for a memorable holiday.

The hotel is amazing - with view - quiet place with very helpful staff - the negative point is the breakfast ...is very poor and every day the same "poor breakfast" in compare to the price of the room (400eur per day) you expect something equal. also the dinner menu is very boring mainstream food that is not tempting you to taste it. also they have to mention to the site that the entrance is very narrow for big cars and the main problem in Symi is the driving. Andrew the Owner is very kind person, and the rooms are amazing even without kitchen inside.

If you want to forget about everything and look at the Aegean blue then Emporio hotel is the right one.Andrew and Claire are both lovely hosts, will welcome the warmest way.we had the Bougainvillea room which was big, with comfort bed.nice bathroom ,small balcony and veranda.breakfast has eggs, butter, marmelade and delicious yogurt with fruits and homemade granola.the van which takes you to Yialos ,i could say is really necessary ,as Nimborio is about 3 km away and there is no space for pedestrians actually if somebody wants to walk.all in all i would strongly suggest Emporio for its location.proximity to the beach, and above all nice people who run it.thanks for everything.i look forward to see you again.
