Judas, Adellah and the entire team made our stay extremely enjoyable. Great food, views and staff. Pool overlooking the national park and had a BBQ on our last night which was really excellent. I would definitely recommend staying here for a fantastic experience.
We spent two nights at Elephant Hab during our Uganda trip and were blown away by the warmth and the hospitality of the people working there. Thank you, unbetraying Judas and everyone else, for making us feel very welcome! The views of the park and the swimming pool, which at one point provided a great platform for observing a grazing elephant, are also worth a notable mention!
Excellent lodge, perched on the side of a hill the rooms (all individual bungalows) have balconies that have fantastic views over the park. The room itself is decorated, and really quiet too. the only minor drawbacks for me was the water pressure from the shower was poor, and Wi-Fi only available in the restaurant/bar area The pool looked very inviting, but I didn’t get the chance to use it
Elephant hab hotel is a wonderful place on the ridge, with fantastic views from your balcony or the pool. Nice food and fantastic service. Very helpful staff to set up your guide and visit. Great value for money!
Really enjoyed staying at this lodge. My cabin was very comfortable with plenty of hot water and electrical outlets (they call them charging stations in the part of the world), and was the only place i stayed on my 10-day safari that had a bathtub! I loved my porch, which provided an incredible view overlooking the Park. The grounds were beautifully kept, with many flowering plants and convenient paved walkways. The food was very tasty and promptly served and the staff courteous and helpful. I hope to be able to stay here again in the future.
We stayed here 1 night during our gorilla trek tour and it was simply wonderful! Super friendly staff with great food- had breakfast by the pool, dinner and packed lunch to go. Room was huge as they put us in a family suite (available room). The pool view is magnificent with fun velvet monkeys running around all day
Fantastic place, professional, friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere, beautiful lanscapes, Clean and comfortable lodges, delicious meals, amazing plants and trees, friendly and interesting monkeys, tasty coffee, nice placed swimming pool.
This is my second visit to this lodge and my second review. During 6 months since my last visit the place is still at the very top on the list of my favourite Uganda's lodges. Wonderful people, excellent accomodation and stunning views. Don't miss it.
We have stayed here for 2 nights during our Uganda trip on Dec.21 and we were the only guests visiting the hotel during these 2 days so we had all the staff at our disposal. The location of the lodge is great on the top of Kyambura Gorge overlooking Queen Elizabeth NP. The cottages are great with a nice veranda from where you can spot the wildlife, elephants being the highlight spotting. The cottage where we have stayed was called Bwindi and had a spacious room with comfy bed with mosquito net, plenty of plugs to charge our electronical devices, great bathroom with shower, toilet and bathtube. There were also slippers in the room and when it rained the staff was coming to bring us umbrellas. There are a lot of vervet monkeys roaming the lodge so be careful what things you leave…
We stayed at this beautiful hotel during our safari trip and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The rooms are so beautifully set up and decorated, the pool is amazing with a view of the Queen Elizabeth Park, and the food is outstanding. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!
