Hotel is very dated both inside and outside. Bedrooms need updating. On a very busy and noisy ring road. Dining area just off the reception and bar area, could really be section off for hygiene reasons

I’m usually a happy travelodge customer for the occasional overnight stay when out on London. However, this one falls below the standard I expect from travelodge. I stayed on one of the ‘heat wave’ days and upon arrival the reception area was nice and cool- obviously air conditioned! The room however had no air conditioning and the fan provided was broken! I was too hot to complain and jumped in the shower to cool down but the water was dripping from the seal around the shower head leaving a trickle pouring out of the diet head! The remote for the tv was also missing the cover for the battery.

This hotel is massively understaffed. Check-in was fine and the room basic but clean. The biggest issue was breakfast. Tables were piled high with dirty plates. One member of staff appeared to be trying to do everything and was ignoring guests completely. Not one of the best Travelodge experiences. The general area isn't the best.

hotel room was boiling and fan didn't work. Reception area was dirty with ladies underwear lying in a toilet for a full day. Paid £14.50 for a £1.99 Iceland microwave meal. Hotel looks likes a prison with security patrolling it. Staff rude and unhelpful

Arrived after a long drive from Manchester was greeted by a very nice man Ali he was very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Parked car £8 per day which is good for london. The travelodge also had security on patrolling hotel and car parks. Rest assured your car is very safe here Room was very spacious but because we had a family when turned up on reception I think they took this on board and allocated this, which was very good of them Breakfast excellent value as kids eat free and good quality. We had pizza in the evening which was excellent. Bar man Devaneer excellent. Again very helpful and it was a pleasure for him to look after the guests, thank you. Excellent location to arrive by car with 2 tube stations locally It just proves you can't always judge the hotel by previous reviews. We looked prior to arrival and we're put off but decided to take the plunge My thanks to all staff you did well

Hotel is old and dated and could do with being refurbished. Location not brilliant in the middle of a road, stadium is probably walkable but you’d have to be able bodied Smelt quite stale and smoky and drinks vending machine in reception not working. Room wasn’t cleaned during 2 day trip. Had to go to reception and get my key reset each time I wanted to get in my room as the card didn’t work which was a huge inconvenience. The staff didn’t seem to care though and just acted like this was a normal thing. Not really what I expected having paid over £300. Spoke to someone else who had the same problem. The room was hot but the fan provided did cool it down. Noisy though and I wouldn’t have slept if I hadn’t had earplugs with me. On the positive side, check out is at 12pm which gives a nice amount of time to get sorted out so you’re not rushing.

Room Tip: Request a room facing the back car park, away from the front and the worst of the road noise.

Awful, got a refund and ate elsewhere. Sink in room had bad smell, made you gag when brushing teeth or washing hands. Staff were not great in bar/restaurant. No apology for wrong meal and drinks. Didn’t know how to make a shandy. All round really disappointing

Hotel poorly maintained needs urgent renovation. Rooms not cleaned properly bits and bobs still inside room from last occupants. Corridors smells of damp and mould. In the summer rooms are hot (no AC)so had to leave the windows open to air which makes it difficult to sleep in road traffic noise and noise from nearby venues. Cleaner placed wet toilet paper on dispenser that's a no no as it gave me the impression it fell into the bowl. Overall a very poor hotel

Over priced for the state of the room and the hotel. Glad We didn’t book breakfast as it looked u clean by the reception area. It was noisy and unclean and looked unsanitary. Bathroom wasn’t clean and the whole hotel needed an upgrade. New carpets, beds, walls.

We stayed due to the euros final and the lifts were not working when we arrived and we were on floor 7, the room was boiling hot and the fan they provided was loud. The shower had no pressure what so ever might as well use the sink to wash. The breakfast is dry as the Sahara desert due to the hot lamps, and they don’t provide you with the correct times for breakfast then when you ask for a refund they won’t pay up.
