This place is top-notch. It is clean, comfortable, spacious and very pleasant. Potable water from the tap and hot water in the shower. Beautiful view from the large patio and deck surrounding the in-ground pool. The service was excellent. They can cook meals in the hotel for a very reasonable price. This was the best value I experienced in my entire Costa Rica trip.

What can I say other than how impressed i was with my stay at Casa Cielo Grande. From booking months before I travelled Andrea was so incredibly helpful assisting me to organise trips. Andrea went above and beyond helping us to book an additional night and allowing us to check in late. When we arrived it was dark and the view from the room was a absolutely incredible, it took my breathe away. The apartment itself was large and clean. Wonderfully equipped kitchen and the kitchen and living room have total views across the landscape. It’s so quiet here apart from the odd plane overhead, comfortable beds, lovely towels. The pool area is nice with generous seating surrounding it, although the water was too cold for me to swim. The grounds are full of lush flowers, humming birds we saw daily along with bats and a variety of beautiful birds. We met the owners of the property on our last day and they were also wonderfully welcoming and helpful. A true gem I would definitely return.

We were a group of 12 people, and we stayed in Casa Cielo Grande because it was close to the airport. We didn't expect much, but when we got there, our eyes were wide open because the place was absolutely beautiful, modern, clean and spacious. Since it's situated up on the hill, you can see the entire city of San Jose. The view was incredible, the garden was breathtaking. The host and the manager were attentive. Friendly and gracious. This place is incredible and well taken care of. We can not say enough about this treasure gem. Pictures don't do justice. Pura Vida! N Osking.

Amazing host and even better location. Beautiful view of the sunset over the pool. San Jose was so pretty at night and the food you can grill on the bbq is to die for. My only complaint is that I didn’t stay there long enough!

We walked into the apartment after a long day of travelling, it was dark, the first thing we saw was the view from the living room... it literally took my breath away. What an absolutely stunning place.
The next morning we could see all around for miles and miles, uninterrupted views of the mountainscape and the city in the valley. Perfect sunshine, beautiful pool, humming birds, and an amazing host who couldn't do enough to help us.
Even the owners popped by and said hello! Thank you Pam, Jeff and Andrea, it made my holiday.
Anyone thinking of staying here, think no more... book now! I told you so....

We stayed here just as an overnight on the way home to the states. The room we booked is actually meant for a group, it’s could sleep 8 easily.
We had access to a private deck and gorgeous backyard. We heard at least 17 types of birds singing in the morning.
We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time in Casa Cielo Grande. I traveled with my 8 middle school students and our time there was great. They food was amazing! The house is so beautiful. Spectacular views. The bed is the most comfortable bed ever!!! Clean, fun, pretty all good stuff. The people form Casa Cielo Grande are warm and professionals! They know how to make guests to feel great!!!!

We have been on a long trip throughout Coasta Rica which has been an experience of a lifetime. Our last night we pulled up to this AMAZING hotel. It's a big house with sweeping views of the city below. Theres a pool and a Personal chef that cook us the most amazing meal. If you have a chance book a night or MORE here.
