With the whole area of 1800m2, Pu Luong Natura Bungalow owns a unique swimming pool overlooking the breathtaking view of valleys, terraced fields and mountains. Our resort is an ideal place for you.
For anyone who finds fault with this property, please take a moment to consider your location. Located right in the middle of the terraced rice paddies of mountainous Pu Luong Nature Reserve, this offers the IDEAL blend of rustic charm and comfortable amenities for guests. The rooms are beautiful and are designed to make the most of natural products and give guests the amazing views that make Pu Luong the so-far less known but spectacular place it is.
The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. There are no screens in the windows but all of the beds have mosquito netting which we used and had no issue with bugs. The bathroom is beautiful and had plentiful hot water with great pressure (better than home for me!) We staying in a bungalow with a private bath but the rooms with shared bath are available too at a lower cost. The shared bath facilities were well-maintained and clean. They were also plentiful which can be a challenge with shared facilities.
The staff is great and is always looking to make their guests' stays as perfect as they can. As for the location, if you're looking to essentially be IN the rice paddies and if you hope to enjoy amazing views, this is the place for you. I've seen some reviewers complain about the location. Yes, it's remote. It took us about 4 hours to drive from Hanoi. But, that's kind of the point! If you're looking for a place with nightlife outside of the hotel, this isn't the place for you. For us, it was PERFECT!

After staying in around 30 different hotels in Vietnam, I can honestly say that this is the best one I've encountered!
The scenery and location of the hotel makes it an idyllic stay-cation. The property is situated perfectly between the rice paddies and surroundings mountains. While removed from civilisation, the hotel offers everything you can possibly need.
Gum, the reception manager, was incredibly accommodating and helpful upon arrival. I had driven to the lodge and was involved in a bike accident on the way. She immediately helped clean my wounds and called for a mechanic to fix my bike, taking as much care as possible.
The food and drinks are also amazing too. I was particularly grateful that they offered a full vegetarian menu, which is usually hard to come by when travelling in rural Vietnam.
Comfy beds too! - Something that always needs mentioning.
We were truly looked after and made to feel as welcome as possible. I would come back to Pu Luong just to stay at this hotel!

Staying at Pu Luong Natura was an absolute dream. The location is breathtaking, the location is ideal, nestled right in the midst of the rice paddies and the mountains. Everywhere you look are terraces and this is certainly the most beautiful place I have seen in the two and a half years I have lived in Vietnam.
The staff are so warm and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They preemptively offered us a room change due to a loud family with many kids being next to our room and were also happy to provide many refills of hot water for my special tea flask.
The facilities are outstanding - bathrooms are clean and the fittings are all brand new. The water is piping hot and the pressure is strong. Over the weekend the breakfast is extensive and during the week it’s more basic but still one of the better breakfasts I have had across Vietnam.
The trekking options are great too, we were able to hike through terraces and down into a village all on our own although they provide a guide option as well.
I would absolutely recommend staying here for an immersion in nature and the opportunity to see the traditional way of living in this stunning part of Vietnam.

I came to Pu Luong by Scooter from Mai Chau, which I really recommend. It’s not the easiest way to get there but so worth it. You get to see real vietnamese life and people (one of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam) are so friendly in this area and help out w everything. But there is also a bus from Hanoi and Ninh Bin: To get to Pu Luong you can catch the bus from Ha Noi around ancient town at around 7.30 to 8.00 am And the bus from Trang An of Ninh Binh at 8am. And from Puluong you can catch the bus at 1.30pm everyday.
The Pu Luong Natura is a perfect place to recharge batteries after the noisy and turbulent life in Hanoi. It is so quiet and the air is so clean. Combined with the breathtaking view and the really nice and clean rooms you will have a perfect stay here. The stuff was so extraordinary friendly and as I couldn’t find the hotel and got stranded at another hotel they came to pick me up and guide me to their place!!! Thanks for that again ;)
They really take care of the accommodation and keep everything super clean. And from Puluong you can catch the bus at 1.30pm everyday. What I also loved about this place is the ecological thinking/spirit. You get bamboo instead of plastic like straws etc.
The food here is also really delicious - you should try the duck :)
All in all I had a perfect stay here and will definitely come back - next time for harvesting season

We stayed the night of February 21. It was like being in a movie set. The bungalow was adorable, the bedroom, bathroom and porch overlooking the terraced rice paddies were just perfect. The room was clean, the bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water with strong water pressure !! Both beds had mosquito netting which protected us all night !! The staff was friendly, warm and helpful!! The food was amazing and the rice wine knocked your Sox off!! We enjoyed the Thai traditional foot bath on our porch which was delivered directly to our room by our lovely staff. They even came to let us know when our meals were ready. We met lovely people also staying in this amazing place. We walked thru the terraced rice paddies and met some of the rice farmers who were able to explain about their crops and meals. We enjoyed the beautiful area with a hike up to the waterfall and to the village above!! We are so glad we chose this bungalow and will definitely choose it on future visits to Hanoi!

We visited Pu Luong Natura Bungalow with another family. We rented 3 rooms with interconnected balcony and some of the kids slept in the middle room between the adults. It work out perfectly! The bungalows we stayed in were brand new. The rooms are comfortable and spacious - our rooms had a large bed and single bed so we easily fit 2 adults and 1 child. Could probably have squeezed another child had we brought the little one into the big bed with us. When we requested extra pillows they were happy to provide them. The view from the balcony is spectacular - quintessential Vietnam rice paddies and forest-covered mountains. The hotel has a nice pool fed by spring water that the kids (and adults) really enjoyed and helped to beat the heat. The restaurant offers a variety of food and the cocktails on the balcony watching the sunset were great. The wooden water wheel beside the restaurant entertained the kids, who also enjoyed walking through the rice paddies in the evening. By far the best aspect of our stay was the service which was exceptional. Gam and Thuy were so helpful and friendly. We really were so impressed by how well they took care of us. We also did a nice trek with the kids and they were incredibly flexible to adjust the plan when we realized that the kids could not make it the entire way. We took a raft onto a stream with lunch served on board and jumped into the stream for a refreshing dip which the kids also loved. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t thank Gam and Thuy enough for their great service.

Nice place with a beautiful view and beautiful rooms, big comfortable bed. We recommend that you check in early to enjoy the place before the mosquitoes and other flies come out after sunset. The food was good and we easily managed to get a gluten free meal. The foot massage wasn't amazing, especially if you've been to Thailand before.

My friend and I arrived at 12 PM, wanting to grab some lunch. We were told to pick a table by the receptionist but later on a waitress came up and told us they couldn't accommodate any more guests because all seats were reserved when there were barely 2 groups of tourists and it was only two of us. Apparently the tables with bowls and dishes on were already booked but there were plenty of empty tables as well. Such a shame because the setting was quite nice.

I came to Pu Luong with a friend and decided to stay on a few days at Natura solo. It was such a relaxing escape from the city, the views and pools are amazing. The staff were all very helpful, especially Gam, who speaks very good English. I stayed in both the dorm, and then switched to a private room. Both were decorated nicely. My particular private room was quite basic but had everything I needed, FYI the beds are quite hard as most Vietnamese beds tend to be, but they are comfortable. Everything was very clean and a good mix of traditional and modern. The food was lovely everything I had was very flavourful, the portions are very big, they are made to be shared but since I was solo I asked for smaller portions and they accommodated this and reduced the cost. Excellent place to stay, highly recommend and I can't wait to return.
