Jagatpur Lodge did not disappoint. Immediately upon arrival, we were welcomed with a warm towel and delicious hibiscus juice fresh from the garden. This resort has a beautiful property, superior hospitality, and luxurious accommodations. In fact, I’m not sure how they manage to balance luxury with intimate nature experiences so well! They also have the best wildlife viewing deck in the area—we could see rhinos and crocodiles right from the deck of our luxury tent! What really made the experience special, though, we’re the wildlife adventures led by their local naturalist, Suman. He knows everything you could want to learn about the large animals, small animals, insencts, trees, and even the traditional uses of medicinal herbs you can find on the property or in the forest. Suman made our stay invaluable, as he told stories, made jokes, and kept great company. I highly recommend you choose Suman with Jagatpur Lodge for your Chitwan wildlife experience!

Room Tip: Stay in a luxury tent! There are wildlife views directly from your tent deck. Best time for Tiger...

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Jagatpur Lodge. The staff were friendly and very helpful, with the chef ensuring proper food was prepared for a vegetarian in our group. We also found Nandu dai, the Naturalist who accompanied us during jungle safari and boating ride, to be very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. Even the driver dai who accompanied us during the jungle safari helped us locate animals, while driving!
Thank you so much to the team at Jagatpur Lodge for giving us such a wonderful experience!

We knew we were off to a great start when we had to venture off into the banana plantation to arrive at the entrance of the lodge. The welcome drink was delicious and each time we returned to the lodge, we would have refreshing cold towels and a welcome drink prepared for us. Such great attention to detail!
Our guide Hem introduced himself to us and gave us a run down of our booked activities. He also provide us with safety tips. Since we were travelling with a 79 year-old companion, her comfort and safety was paramount. The crew always took great care of her. The meals prepared were amazing. We had continental, Chinese, Indian and Nepali cuisine. All were outstanding. Dining service crew was extremely attentive.
During each “expedition”, there would be refreshments provided. We truly enjoyed the boat safari, jungle walk, jeep safari, sundowner activity, Tharu cultural performance and the gharial breeding program visit. But my favourite was the visit to a traditional Tharu village. Hem explained the cultural norms, practices and history clearly.
This was a very immersive experience. Very glad we had the opportunity to experience warm hospitality in the midst of a Nepali jungle and nature park.
Thank you Jagatpur Lodge crew!

Great location, incredibly attentive staff, great food. Our naturalist, Saran Darai, was both knowledgeable and fun to be with; we really enjoyed the "tents" (with a very very high level of comfort), located near the river, just across a large natural area; the level of comfort we enjoyed was absolutely incredible. Thank you to all Jagatpur Lodge staff - we were lucky to be there for this New Year trip.

The tent was beyond confortable with a beautiful view of the river from the private deck. The whole hotel was very peaceful and the staff attentive and kind. Food and drinks were great. We were particularly happy with our jungle walk and jungle safary. Both were very well planned, genuinely respectful of the environment, and the team that came with us (Suman and Santa) were knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. No question was left unanswered, they really took the time to understand what we most wanted to experience and adapt to that - Thanks to them, we got to observe rhinos, a family of bears and much more. Suman, even offered to write out a list of all the birds we saw during the two days and handed it to us when we left :) Thanks to all the team at Jagpur lodge.

Jagatpur lodge was exceptional. I must applaud the outstanding service of the well trained staff. The continuous smile on their faces made the lush property even more beautiful. The food was so delicious that I ended up over eating every meal. If you want to experience the famous Nepalese hospitality at its Best, you know where to go: Jagatpur Lodge by Annapurna.
A perfect get away.

Peaceful, friendly staffs and great ambience. The deck adjacent to the seti river is a major attraction as we could easily catch glimpses of wild animals from there.
The jungle safari is a recommended activity if you are there.
The food was great, except for a day when there weren't many guests (you donot get buffet meal).
Overall, a good stay.
