We visited Park Hyatt hotel in Siem Reap in February of 2025. It is a beautiful place, the minute you step into the hotel you are surrounded by welcoming, polite and caring staff who are ready to help you and please you and to be helpful. We had beautiful room, the AC worked perfectly, the amenities were great, bed and pillows were comfortable and snowy white. The maid service was perfect and not annoying like in Las Vegas , they were ready to clean your room when it was convenient for you, plus they had turn down service in the evening. Bottled water was provided every day. The breakfast was the best part of the day - fresh, clean, pleasing to the eye and delicious . They had buffet items set up inside and outside plus you could order from the menu, a beautiful variety of items which included American style breakfast and local fair and it was delicious, every meal came out looking like it came from the five star restaurant, never boring, always full of flavor and colors. The hotel offers great dining menu as well - 3 tasting menus with local cuisine, the really fun one is “Le petit chef” 🧑‍🍳 It’s dinner and a show, highly recommend! There are two beautiful pools in the hotel but for us the water temperature was a little bit too cool. Some people were swimming and I am sure it is quite busy in summer, they have food and drinks service by the pool too. The location was great - walking distance to the Pub street with all the restaurants and bars and stores and nightlife. There are plenty of Tuk Tuks around the hotel that you can hire to go around the town and they are very reasonably priced. We had incredible time at this hotel and recommend it to anyone who would like to come and visit Cambodia 🇰đź‡

The Park Hyatt Siem Reap Hotel has given me the best Hyatt experience ever.
The team is very well orchestrated to deliver exceptional quality and moments during my stay. From the individual moments of conversation with the various hoteliers to enjoying the end products of the hotel, I am left deeply impressed and touched! My special thanks to GM Nur who has helmed this team so nicely and remarkably well!
The hotel is very well kept and offers a very fresh, new feel. I feel that the energy in this property is very positive and calming, amid the outside hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. Interior decor and the architecture of the property is discrete yet quietly splendid.
The dining and food quality is absolutely marvellous. Without divulging too much, I'll say there are interesting dining suprises that guests can discover, to make the stay interesting *grin*. Furthermore, the evening programs of Aspara dancers and the nightly Candle Release Ceremony add to the cultural intrigue of this place.
The spa experience is incredible with just about the best therapists I have ever come across. The surroundings of this spa is serenely calming and of very high quality.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. Major places such as the Pub Street, numerous eateries and shops are all within walking distances and short tuk tuk rides.
The Park Hyatt Siem Reap property and the special hoteliers within, have made this place my second home. Thank you to this special family in Siem Reap. :-)

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
The first suite that was set aside for us as a couple was wonderful despite perhaps technically being a standard suite, as it had separate entrance from the other rooms and a private patio that led to the main pool—and the staff prepared a very thoughtful welcome amenity and champagne for our occasion.
The other suite which my friend and his father stayed in was nicely appointed in general, but if I had booked a suite I probably would have been very upset to stay in it since the view was terrible and basically required keeping the curtains closed at all times, as it looks directly into a gas station and Burger King. It's by far the most unfortunate part of the property, and ruins what would otherwise be a decent location.
Besides that—the staff, service, F&B, and basically everything else was wonderful. The housekeeping anticipated things in the low-touch way of the very best hotels, as the room was turned down, refreshed, or replenished every time we stepped outside without us ever having to ask. The breakfast was perfect, and the menu included a thoughtful selection of Cambodian and international dishes. The concierge and front desk staff were also proactive and high-EQ, which can be more rare in this region.
And despite the immediate surroundings being in an unattractive urban area without decent views…a genius design by Bill Bensley makes the hotel with its outlets and pools a beautiful oasis by blending art deco and traditional Khmer & Angkorian design.
The only real areas of improvement I’d suggest would be the shoddy wifi, and the very unfortunate lack of a toilet sprayer or bidet/washlet…which is omnipresent in even the poorest areas in this region but somehow lacking at both Hyatts in Cambodia.

Everyone in this hotel goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable! From breakfast to dinner, the food is always amazing and the Executive Chef, Pisith, is so passionate about making each dish immaculate. He is also always there with a smile and making recommendations for dishes for us to try. We stayed at the rooftop room, which was very spacious with an outdoor garden, balcony and the housekeeping team is meticulous with the cleanliness and organisation of the room. Front desk and concierge are helpful with organisation of all tours and made the holiday effortless for us. Interior of hotel is modern with a colonial feel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.

I have never been to any hotel nor Hyatt with such excellent service. Despite having many guests, the manager and chef made sure to know who we were and made sure we were taken care of.
The room was constantly cleaned whenever we left and always fully stacked with complementary bottled water. They give the kids free generous ice cream samples, and every family gets a wonderful free tuk tuk tour of the city. The staff is completely on the ball and anticipate everything you need.

Hotel is well situated by restaurants, spas, and the old market. However, rooms are older with so many buttons that control lighting but only one USB port. Room is also dark.
The lobby area is confusing. At check in we received a welcome drink and nice greeting by staff.
Room is large with a chaise/sofa, table, nespresso machine, bathtub and shower. There are buttons that control the window curtains, lighting, etc. which I found annoying since you need to figure them out. The room has not been renovated in a while and there was only one USB port by the chaise, none by the bed. Internet was intermittent at times. If you like old houses you’ll likely like this hotel. I prefer modern rooms, which this one is not.
Housekeeping seems more interested in folding the tissue in the tissue box, folding the toilet paper, and closing the toilet lid, than actually cleaning the floor. There is a turndown service that comes in the evenings to empty trash, fold the toilet paper and tissue, close the toilet lid, place slippers by the bed and fold the blanket. No Chocolate. If you find this service annoying like I did, there is a do not disturb button by the front door that you could use.
Breakfast has a buffet with pastries, bread, fruit, yogurt and juice. There is a menu to order food from. The menu includes omelettes, khmer food, French toast, etc. Coffee takes a long time to receive so make sure that you order coffee as soon as you arrive. Servers are nice. I have had better breakfasts at similar level hotels in Asia.
There is a store that does laundry around the corner from the hotel by weight. I took some stuff there and paid $3, it took 4 hours.
There is a spa across the street called lemon grass that offers massages for a fraction of the price the hotel spa charges.
If you like old style and looking for a convenient location then you will probably like this hotel. I would try the Sofitel next time.

Stayed for 4 nights to experience Angkor Wat ruins as do most people. An enjoyable stay, hotel staff were especially friendly. Don’t know if it’s against government regulations but after many complaints from other guests shown on trip advisor, the hotel still haven’t sound proofed the rooms next to the busy road. We overcame the problem by sleeping with ear plugs. Breakfast was a disappointment, food wasn’t delicious, just so so. I guess it’s difficult to source the ingredients that westerners like. A big thank you to Vivi for making our stay more enjoyable by arranging an afternoon in the Spa. If you want a friendly Tuk Tuk driver at a very cheap price ask the concierge for Saritz , number 14 who’s contracted to the hotel. See attached picture of his “Harley Davidson” I would definitely stay again at the Park Hyatt because of its location, hopefully the management can sort out the two issues I mentioned.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Siem Reap thanks to the great service of their team. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, always willing to assist with every little thing! The Globalist benefits went far at this property that provides classic luxury in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and well-maintained, close to a major grocery store, Pub Street (but far enough for peace and quiet), delicious local food, and everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The breakfast on property as well as the various shows were highlights of our trip, up there with Angkor Wat.
We especially want to highlight the service of Verena Lefebvre, the guest experience manager. Verena provided excellent service before, during, and even after our stay. She went above and beyond to give us a tour of the property and even offered to be available on her day off. When I left something in the room after checkout, she successfully and thoroughly facilitated the delivery of my items to my next destination and communicated very clearly and concisely every step of the way to ensure I was kept updated. This level of service from Verena is something we have never seen before at any Hyatt property and deserves the highest recognition. We look forward to returning!

One of the best Hyatt hotels I’ve stayed in. Front desk and dining staff are very helpful and accommodating. I emailed in advance and requested for them to buy me distilled water and they granted my request. The rooms are also very big and beautiful. Very good breakfast variety each day. All the food we tried during breakfast and dinner were all tasty and delicious. The chef also came and talked with us. They go above and beyond to welcome guests. Thank you so much for the wonderful and memorable stay. Will definitely visit again.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay in this Park Hyatt and all was top notch and fully justifies its 5 star rating. Good sized, very comfortable rooms which were in excellent condition and very comfortably furnished, spacious and well equipped bathroom with high end amenities and the property was very quiet and peaceful. The location is perfect in the centre of town and within a short walk of the river front, pub street, shops, restaurants etc and well located for Angkor Wat and other out of town sights. The breakfast offering was excellent with part buffet and part a la carte from a well thought out menu ... the Cambodian coffee offered was great and a good kick start to the day! All staff were very competent, friendly and welcoming and are an excellent asset and a credit to this hotel. No hesitation in recommending the Park Hyatt Siem Reap and we would happily stay there again.

You can use Grab which includes options such as Rickshaw, Sedan, SUV, Minivan. The Rickshaw we took cost about $3, I remember the Sedan was $7.
Local currency if you want to buy lower value items or tipping. USD is also fine since they’ll normally return your money in local currency (the government is phasing out $1, and $5).
The currency exchange rate hovers around 4100 Riel to $1.
Just make you get your self a sim card. Its $12 a month if you get it from the airport. (Smart Mobile).
