Pros: • Spacious comfortable suite • Good price for a beautifully maintained hotel • Very friendly staff • Freshwater pool in well-kept garden Cons • View from the room • Acoustics in the breakfast room
We stayed here for 2 nights and booked a “junior suite” on the booking.com website in January for US$60 (€57) per night: cancelable, all taxes included and with breakfast for 2.
The hotel is located in the center of Siem Reap with Pub Street within a 500 meter walk. Shop for drinks and other items 150 meters away. The hotel has +-50 rooms over 4 floors and 1 elevator. It is located between 2 other buildings, so don't expect spectacular views from the room.
We received an upgrade from a deluxe room to a junior suite 406 on the fourth floor. The Zen-style room was very spacious (50m²) with a separate sleeping area and sitting/dining area. A good, wide bed (2m wide) and beautiful dark parquet. Two good air conditioners, medium-sized flat screen TV, WiFi, coffee and tea. The spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath is very comfortable with bathrobes and slippers. Good blackout curtains.
The breakfast buffet in the morning restaurant was sufficient but less extensive. However, I found the breakfast room less cozy also because of the poorer acoustics. On the other hand, I found the air-conditioned restaurant for lunch/dinner cozy and pleasant to sit in with reasonable menu and prices (including outdoor terrace).
The garden with freshwater swimming pool at the back of the hotel is beautifully maintained, although perhaps a bit small when fully occupied.
Some practical information early 2024: The new airport since October 2023 is located 55km from Siem Reap. Taxi from airport $35, airport bus $8/pp (75 minutes drive, see photo for schedule) Entrance to Angkor temples: 37$/pp for one day, 62$/pp for 3 days to be taken within 10 days of purchase. There are always tuktuk drivers in front of the hotel. Price for 8 hours tour to temples 18-20$ per tuk tuk for 2-4 people. Further temples such as Banteay Srei (40km one way) 25-30$ for 8 hours. On the first day, the tuktuk driver drives to the place where the tickets are sold (don't forget your passport)... he will help you with that. Make sure you always have this entrance ticket with you because it is regularly checked.

Magnificent stay at this Hotel, the excellent and attentive staff, the fantastic pool, its location close to restaurants and all kinds of shops and a 10-minute walk to Pub Street. The room and bathroom are large and comfortable, although it is a few years old, they are very well maintained, the breakfast is very correct and sufficient to start the day, they prepared a picnic for us the day we visited Angkor to see the sunrise. . The staff helped us recover some clothes that we left at the Glow Park Royal hotel in Phnom Penh and organized it between the two teams with total efficiency, in less than 24 hours we had the belongings in our possession. Staff of 10.

We stayed at this hotel for 14 nights during our recent trip to Cambodia.
The hotel is in s good location about 15 walk from pub street and the old market.
We had a very large room with a balcony but the balcony could be improved by adding some outside furniture such as a couple of chairs. The bed was firm as you would expect in Asia but fine for sleeping.
We had breakfast included in our price and it was very good especially the Asian broth, all the breakfast staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
The pool area was very quiet with lots of chairs, loungers and umbrellas. It was well maintained and a special mention to the Gardner who kept the area spick n span and seemed to be the hardest working staff member.
There is a lot of renovation going on at the hotel with the work starting around 0730 to 1800, we were not really affected by the noise due to the location of our room but it could be different for rooms close to the works.
Overall a comfortable stay and I would recommend staying here if you are thinking of visiting Siam Reap.

Dear Katco, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your kind words about our staff and hotel! Your mention of the gardener is much appreciated, and we will certainly pass on your compliments to them. We also appreciate your feedback on the balcony and will consider adding outdoor furniture as part of our ongoing improvements. Regarding the renovation work, we apologize for any disruption it may have caused and are working hard to ensure it has minimal impact on our guests. However lobby renovation has finished and the addition decoration at the front part we may finish soon in early of December. Thank you for recommending us to future travelers. We hope to welcome you back to Siem Reap in the near future! Warm regards, Sokun CHHOM (Ms.) Front office Manager

The hotel is wonderful, with very spacious rooms and an equally spacious bathroom with a shower, bathtub and double sink. Also double independent air conditioning and daily cleaning. Kimsinh, the receptionist and customer manager, did his job like a professional. He immediately offered us his help so that our stay both in the hotel and in the surrounding area was incredible and that we did not miss anything interesting to see or enjoy. Every day he wrote to us on WhatsApp to offer his help. He really made us feel at home. All the employees also made us feel special with their help, their smile and their best disposition. The location was excellent on the main street and a 10 minute walk to the Night Market and Pub Street busy area of restaurants, pubs, massage parlours, and of course some good value shopping. Also the Tuk stuck charge you a dollar each way from the hotel to the night market. The pool area is also very pleasant and for athletes it has a gym overlooking the pool. The food in the restaurant is plenty and good and at a good price and they can bring it to your room if you wish. In summary, it deservedly receives my highest rating for the set it offers.

The most important thing is location. It is convenient to reach the Angkor Wat temple complex. In the evening, it's easy to find a place for dinner nearby. Nearby 2 supermarkets, park, market. They stopped in October 2024.
The staff are friendly, sympathetic, always ready to come to the rescue.
The pool is the perfect place to be after a long walk around Angkor Wat. Bathed every day. There are plenty of sunbeds.
Breakfast is a buffet, beyond praise. Have everything you need to eat from the heart (eggs, cheeses, sausages, porridge, vegetables, fruit, tea, coffee, juices, etc.).
Room. Spacious. The air conditioning is silent. The bed is huge. Tea, coffee, teapot, water, safe, bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush with paste – there are. Bathroom and shower in the room. The room is quiet.
I recommend you stay.

The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly. We could also take a shower in the afternoon on the day we checked out so that was helpful (cause of Siem Reap’s heat). We were looked after by a staff member, Kimsinh, who also recommended us a lot of good places and activities to do in Siem Reap.

Very cozy hotel, friendly staff, always ready to help. The room is spacious, has everything you need, beautiful wooden furniture, a very comfortable mattress. A stunning green courtyard with a deep pool is just what you need after long treks to the temples of Angkor. Breakfast is varied and delicious: there is both European food and local dishes. The hotel has a good location: there are coffee shops, shops nearby, bus stops nearby, and it is also convenient to travel to attractions. There is a restaurant with Khmer cuisine next to the hotel, and you can also order food directly from the hotel. Very cozy hotel, friendly staff, always ready to help. We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. Our room got upgraded without any fee on arrival. Our concierge made good recommendations for restaurants and trips, uncomplicated via WhatsApp. Requests, e.g. printing a document was possible without any problems, as well as the laundry service.

The hotel is located on a main road with a small frontage but do not let that put you off. It is very quiet and you can hear no road noise. Inside, the hotel itself is stunningly beautiful with local artwork throughout and this is enhanced by the fabulous staff. From the reception staff to the room cleaning crew, everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful in a professional way. The breakfast choice is wide and varied and of excellent quality and here again the staff are brilliant. It is unfair to pick out any individual as all are so good but we must mention Hach and Leap for their personalities.

Well the first thing to do would report it to the management and see what advice they gave you. Normally, most hotels now have a CCTV monitoring system, so its easy to check who all entered the room in your absence and those persons can be called for questioning. If the amount is large, file a police complaint.
Dear Loveto T,
Thank you so much for your message.
The tipping system in Cambodia is not particular, normally people offer between 1 - 100 based on the level of satisfactory.
