When I arrived at Bai Dinh Garden Resort & Spa, I was in paradise. I was overjoyed to follow the garden paths to explore the tropical surroundings. When I was shown my room, I was delighted. It reminded me of a treehouse, and was so beautifully designed and comfortable. Every morning I swam in the lovely pool, accompanied by the resident rooster, who watched me from the deck. Breakfast buffet was served in a pretty pavilion overlooking the pool. Best of all the staff was so friendly and kind. I couldn't have been happier at the Bai Dinh Garden Resort & Spa.
Such a fantastic stay. The staff is great and my wife and I especially loved Cloudy who welcomed us and helped us find things to do. I can’t recommend the place enough, such a good bang for the buck. Enjoy!
The resort is small and thus cozy. It has an serene atmosphere. We stayed in an A-frame which has 2 levels. We did this because our adult children were traveling with us. We were very happy with the A-frame as it felt spacious. The room itself was clean and modern. The wifi, AC, TV etc worked well. The rest of the resort is terrific - pool, exercise area (covered but no walls so open air), location. Location is great. We were able to walk to the Bai Dihn Pagoda and visit Cuoc Phong National Park. Without a doubt the real gems of this resort are the staff. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. One staff member who really stood out was Cloudy. Her English is excellent. She went out of her way to help all the guests. For us, she helped us book tours, arrange transportation and give local attractions recommendations. Without a doubt she made this resort extra special. Overall, this is a top tier 5-star resort.…
We visited Nihn Bihn over the Christmas holidays. We chose to stay at the Bai Dinh Garden Resort based on its location and great previous reviews. The previous reviewers were spot on. The place is simply wonderful. We stayed in one of the A-frames because our 2 adult kids were traveling with us. They took the top floor and we stayed on the main level. It was spacious and thus comfortable for everyone. Spotless clean and all the fixtures were modern. The pool was lovely. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfasts were buffet style and offered both Vietnamese and Western options. We love pho and the pho was made to order. We had a dinner there and it too was excellent even though I find that I am not a fan of mountain goat, which is a local dish. Location location location...we walked to the Bai Dinh Pagoda, that is how close it is. The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was so nice and accommodating - restaurant servers, the housekeepers, bellmen -- just everyone. A standout was Cloudy. She ran the front desk. Such a nice young lady who spoke excellent English. She helped us with tour reservations, transportation, recommendations, etc. She really made all the guests feel special. This is a top tier 5-star resort. A comparable resort would cost 10X this back here in the US and I doubt it would have a Cloudy. I give this resort my highest recommendation. …
The resort itself was lovely and so were the staff. We stayed in the family villa and there was loads of room. It was too cool to go in the pool but I did spend time lounging on the chairs. So no complaints at all on that score. The one area where improvement it needed is the food. It was okay but not as consistently good as we had elsewhere in Vietnam. A few other things to note: - the resort is fairly isolated and there isn't much to see in the area except the Bai Dinh pagoda complex. That is certainly worth a visit but there really isn't much else around in terms of shops, restaurants, etc. - we used it as a base for exploring other sights in the area (Tam Coc, Trang An, Mua Cave, etc). Taxi rides were about 300k dong each way, which did add up after a few days. - don't waste your time going into Ninh Binh. There is very little to see there. If you want to eat out somewhere Tam Coc has lots of options and is more walkable and pleasant. Bottom line is that this part of Vietnam really is worth visiting in terms of the nature sights. But if that's not your thing, then it isn't worth visiting.…
Lovely property and rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food and cocktails👍The night tour of Bai Dinh Pagoda was brilliant as was our day tours of Ninh Binh province. Thankyou Thanh, Rosy, Cloudy, Anna Daisy and all for your welcome 🥰
We came over during the offpeak season and the street along the hotel was generally quiet and dark past 7pm. The hotel lent us the bikes for free and we managed to try out a few restaurants along the road which were all good. The hotel staffs were very friendly and thank you Rosy for getting us a private chauffeur at a reasonable price. The driver drove us around Hoa Lu and Tam Coc, and he patiently waited for us in the car while we explored the areas. Overall, we had a great time at Ninh Binh!
This was a highlight of my time in Vietnam. Everyone here was so kind and helpful, particularly Cloudy. They all made me feel at home in this wonderful place. The hotel itself was beautiful, and all of the staff helped me so much to make the most out of my time in Ninh Binh.
My kids loved the double story family room which provided a unique experience. The landscape in the resort is lush and pretty. The staff were also kind and friendly. The spa was alright but the hotel food is not good.
Excellent location and excellent service. Quite a place closer to Pagoda. Staff organised For a pagoda visit at night. ‘Cloudy’ was very courteous. Good breakfast but fewer vegetarian options. Looks beautiful at night with all the lighting and greeneries.
