WILD WATERS LODGE is nestled in a luxuriant rainforest on it's own private island, mid-stream in the mighty Nile and is breathtakingly beautiful. The expansive, canvas walled, traditionally thatched rooms each boast private decks with elegant free-standing baths and wash basins carved from the local pink granite. Softly lit with hand-made furniture, you can relax in comfort on this island paradise listening to the thunder of the Nile rapids, and the calls of the many species of bird who call the island home.

On my way to Jinja my friend told me we must go to Wildwaters Lodge for lunch. Before we even ordered our lunch I was viewing the rooms and convinced myself I needed to stay overnight! 2 nights later - I left very relaxed and happy. Hearing the rushing rapids of the Nile 24/7 is the most relaxing thing I have experienced, alongside the beautiful surroundings. The food was unbelievable and beyond 5*. My second day I thought I may as well get a massage which was in a quieter area by the water. The massage therapist (forget her name) was amazing and I must say it is probably the best massage I have ever had! Words cannot express how truly peaceful and relaxing this place was. The staff were very accommodating. I have travelled all around the world and this by far was the most unique peaceful haven I have experienced. I would highly recommend staying here. My only suggestion is that the resort become an adult-only resort. It is definitely not a place for children, but rather a peaceful retreat for adults and couples.

This was our second visit to wildwaters lodge. The staff are, as always, very friendly and ready to help in any way...Justine is wonderful...the CEO too was very friendly and kind, a very good-hearted lady. Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing...it's one of very few "very excellent" places along the Nile, where i would highly recommend any visitor to stay. Thank you for a great time folks.

Breathtaking, amazing, mind blowing... and that’s just a few of the words I can use. Who knew you could build a lodge on an island on rapids! Stunning location..amazing lodges, super tasty food, friendly staff...I was so overwhelmed I had tears of joy upon arrival. An incredible place to stay. The photoes really don’t do justice to the real thing... prepare to be blown away.
