    Amazing stay!
Our second time in the Seychelles we had very high expectations and still our experience was beyond expectations. From fantastic villas to great sesrvice to just an amazing nature setting everything was simply perfect. We had an ocean front Villa wich created a perfect balance between an amazing view over the sea and sourrounding islands but also a sence of being close to the sea. Food was excellent, we mainly went with the fish and seafood options, healthy and super tasty. Also really appreciated the on-site somelier who guided us to the rigth wines to fit the food! Food and wine is expensive, but that we knew. Its the price you pay for being on a private island. We spent a lot of time visiting all the beaches around the island which created a lot of varitety to our stay. Also had an amazing snorkeling experence with both turtles and eagle rays. A highly recommened place to visit - uber-luxury of course - but well worth it. We did helicoopter back and forth - super convient and fun!
Dear 414teds, We at Six Senses Zil Pasyon are truly humbled by your wonderful words about your overall experience and the service quality of the team. We take inspiration from your compliments as we continue to keep getting better and better and amaze our valued guests like you during your stay. Thank you once again for a highly inspiring review. The team is already looking forward to welcoming you back soon here at Six Senses Zil Pasyon. Warm regards, Tim Bilfinger General Manager

    bevond words!
We have just returned from wonderful holidays in the Seychelles and were lucky enough to spend 6 nights at the Six Senses Zil Pasyon. We have stayed at quite some very beautiful places throughout the years but Zil Pasyon was sheer perfection! There was absolutely nothing I could remotely think of to complain about! The architecture of the villas is smoothely embedded in the island's landscape. The villas are spacious bevond need and the views breathtaking. Housekeeping was most friendly and perfectly done. The staff of the hotel is everything! A big shout out to Ryan, our GEM, who was immediately there when needed, but gave us also all the room and privacy we wanted. Ryan is most friendly and we can't thank him enough for picking us up to see the newly hatched turtles! All the staff, often most successfully, remembered our names and made us feel more than at home! The food is also beyond words! There is no buffet, which we very much welcomed, but everything is ordererd a la carte! The produce is fresh and partly even locally sourced (we loved the more sustainable ideas put behind so much on the island). The scallop ceviche will forever be remembered!!! Congratulations to the team of chefs! The beaches are amazing, you can encounter sharks, turtels and tons of fish! The grand Anse was mostly entirely left to the three of us! As you can see I can only write in superlatives and could continue for another hour. If you enjoy peace and quiet, away from crowds, we can only highly recommend the resort! We loved it so much and definitely want to return!
Dear Sabine1986, Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely review. I am very happy that your stay with us on Felicite exceeded your expectations and that our hosts, specially your GEM Ryan and our Housekeeping team, made you feel very well taken care of. I am very glad that you appreciated the natural beauty of our island and the design of our villas and facilities. I am very pleased that you enjoyed our culinary experiences and I have passed your feedback on to the team also. With sustainability being one of our core values I am very happy that you welcomed our ethos and initiatives and that you also got the chance to encounter our lively marine life. I sincerely hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to our little island paradise again soon. With Warm Regards Mark Leslie

There are no words but we'll give it a go.
There are no words but we'll give it a go. Our stay at Six Senses was absolute perfection. The location, food, activities and accommodation are all outstanding. What makes Zil Pasyon a cut above the rest however is the service. If you are after formal or stuffy attention and atmosphere, this is not the place for you. This is relaxed and sustainable luxury at its finest. Six Senses are not shy about communicating their values and ethos and it's safe to say, they practice what they preach. Staff work to get to know you and understand what you want out of your stay. Our GEM, Nhi, was quite simply fantastic and we've no doubt made our stay the best that it could be. The most taxing decision we had to make in five days was whether to eat in the villa or at the restaurant and even this was solved with a flip coin provided in your villa. As an aside, we were staying at the resort as the world went into lockdown. We could not have felt in safer hands and the whole team made sure that our holiday wasn't affected, challenging themselves to find new and intimate (given that we were two of four guests staying) ways to make our stay "out of the ordinary". Friendly and approachable the team even humoured my cricket loving husband and let him join in their match for a couple of hours. The food and beverage team were visibly excited to prepare a dining experience for us in a unique location where they had never set up before, serving some of our favourite food and drink much to our delight. They even accommodated our request for a menu signed by the chef to take home as a souvenir. Our only gripe (If you can call it that), at the most beautiful outdoor film screening in the world was the poor choice of movies and our inability to impact these even though we were the only ones in the audience! It almost seemed like someone was playing a joke on us. Sonic the Hedgehog: not perfect honeymoon fodder. The food and drink were sublime. The ability to order food to your villa, have it arrive in 35 minutes and be presented to such a standard was almost unbelievable. More than once since returning home we have gone to pick up the phone to order in a Six Senses culinary delight (and been sorely disappointed!). Whether luxury trips are the norm, this is a once in a lifetime holiday or you simply love to explore new things and places, Six Senses Zil Pasyon cannot disappoint. We're counting down the days 'til we return (and wish we had never left!)...
Dear Cybergalhan, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay at Six Senses Zil Pasyon. Thank you for all the positive comments on the food and service from the team! I shall advise the team accordingly. Apologies for the movie selection we shall ensure this isn't the case for the future, I am also sorry we have not been able to deliver in-villa dining to you back at home in the UK :) We would love to have kept you here over the COVID period but we are grateful you were with us until the borders closed! Hoping you and family have remained safe and thank you again for coming to our shores and we so look forward to you returning. Best Regards Mark Leslie General Manager

Wow. I don’t even know where to start. When I die, I want to be buried at this place so I can forever be in paradise. After an awful journey on the ferry (definitely take the helicopter if you’re planning on going) and us both suffering sea sickness. We arrived a little worse for wear but after being greeted with a warm welcome from the team and offered fresh coconut water we quickly came back around and realised where we were! The rooms are incredible. We had an amazing view over the ocean of La Digue and woke up every day in paradise. The breakfast is phenomenal and lunch and dinner follow suit with different options every night for dinner either at the Island Cafe or the themed night. We’d read a lot about the hotel before arriving but it blew away our expectations. The management team were incredibly helpful throughout our stay along with the buggy drivers who all became our friends over our time on the island. We were so lucky to be allocated Anil as our GEM for the weeks. He was knowledgable, not only about Felicte island but also La Digue and Mahe, giving us tips and organising lunches for us. He made everything run smoothly and organised a delightful sunset surprise for us. We took so many memories from this place and will definitely be returning. People may say it’s expensive but you absolutely get more than you pay for and it’s absolutely worth the money!

We came for six nights to Six Senses ZP as it is said to be one of the best in the Seychelles, and because we didn't want to stay on too busy La Digue. We found a lot that we liked and then some we didn't. Overall a great place to stay. You mostly get what is advertised, just be aware of the limitation of beach access: We didn't like that there is only very limited beach access to the ocean. One very small bay is suitable, mostly, this bay is also served by the restaurant via phone. The other beaches you are much better off exploring or reading a book. We didn't like the concrete roads that cover the whole resort. You can walk, but there is so many buggies you often have to step aside (our villa was a brisk 15 min walk over a few hills away from the restaurants). Six Senses prides itself being sustainability conscious, and even tough the buggies are electric and arrive within 5-10 minutes of calling, it would have been nice to have some dedicated walking paths. It is a shame not to have any, because there are plenty of beautiful spots, trees, clearings and vegetation that most people only drive past without noticing them. On the good side, we found the restaurants were never full, though the hotel was booked out. This is really great. That the buffet features vodka says a bit about the clientele and their customs, and so it was no wonder that the easy and beautiful hiking trail that they have got, leading to a nice viewpoint, does not get frequented much. Activities are mostly water based, and access to the plethora of surrounding islands is easy. Not cheap though, but if you considering booking here you will not be surprised by this. We didn't manage to snorkel/dive or approach any of the small islands as during the 6 nights we spent there, the ocean was a bit too choppy. Accommodation was good and all in working condition, though there is minor building rubble around the Oceanfront Pool Villa we had, and on the sides of the road. The term Oceanfront was misleading to some extent - the villa is the closest to the ocean, but it sits on/just in front of huge granite rocks that gets splashed by water frequently. So while we found a gap in the vegetation to get onto these literal ocean front rocks, a less aware person would get splashed there by water quite a bit. Not the place to sit and read your book. The staff at Six Senses was amazingly friendly. Compared to other (and more expensive) places on the Seychelles we found them to be much more hospitable, understanding, and delivering on what needed to be done.

The property occupies an absolutely stunning private island. The rooms/villas are wonderful (in some way I feel the website pictures don't do them justice) and go from the beaches up all the way on the hill. Meaning that everyone should be able to pick their favourite: some people might like proximity to the water, while others being on a higher level. I personally prefer the latter, and the views from the villas high up the hill are just breathtaking - no matter what time of the day. By far, my favourite thing of this resort. If you like to spend a big part of your time in the room and like beautiful views from the top, this will make the trip for you. The layout of the villas is very conducive to spend lazy days there, with a lounging area, a great dining table, a small pool, as well as the possibility of opening up the glass windows and essentially turn the bedroom area into one space with the outdoors. As much as the villas are stunning, on the contrary the communal areas of the property are underwhelming. When we visited only one restaurant area was operational (with the excuse that the one closer to the water was not usable due to splashing waves... except it remained very dry on every night). The one bar was very sad looking (probably due to the fact that the nearby restaurant area was closed) and often left unmanned. Overall the finishes are a little cheap looking and certainly not on par with top end resorts (chipped wood, old decking not particularly well maintained, a bit of an ancient decor, ...). Food was just not good enough. We stayed for almost a week and one restaurant option is insufficient for a private island setup of this kind. Moreover, the quality was mediocre at best. Regular options are fine, but the themed dinners were a disaster (I recall a Mexican night where the quality of the food was worse than a cheap take-away... think nachos with industrial melted cheese). All of this comes at a very, very hefty price tag, which is normal for Seychelles but contributes to the inadequacy of the offering. The wine and beverages costs are also well known to be overpriced in Seychelles, and this resort is no exception, but no surprise there. Service was also odd, and it showed from the onset. We were assigned a villa that was the opposite of what we had requested. Guest names were spelled wrong on the welcome cards. All minor inconveniences, but what is more evident is that the overall service is two steps below the standards of luxury resorts. Requests to the butler took very long to be acknowledged, breakfast pre-ordered for a certain time showed up at random hours, when sitting by the communal pool or on the loungers facing the beach, not once a member of staff came by offering to take a drinks order (let alone offering refreshments), we always had to hunt someone down either at the bar or restaurant. I must say that the view from the villas and the location are so stunning that I would be tempted to give it another shot just for that, but no longer than two or three nights.

Where to start... Collection from Praslincar wa terrible - Raffles collected us in a new car, with water and magazines etc a real 5 star service this vehicle was an old minivan with nothing provided. The water taxi transfer is expensive but was adequate for 20 mins - in the maldives you are offered a drink for the same value, here nothing and a basic boat. Check in was a breeze, and Thomas our Gem was excellent (although new and an Intern) he did everything he could to ensure our honeymoon was perfect. The rooms are very large, however pretty dated - the bed was awful both Mango House and Raffles beds were far more comfortable. We had a power cut at 2am the first night so the Air Con went off then all the lights and TV came back on 30 mins later, then the second night we had an air lock in the pool pump which was making a thud sound around 02:30am - the maintenance team arrived and turned the pool pump off 20 mins after we called. The island is wonderful - it's well kept and the beaches are stunning along with the small reef off the beach by the restaurant. Service was hit and miss - some staff were excellent and very attentive listened to a specific request or orders - others ignored special requests and just gave you what was on the menu etc. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice and great quality - if only they listened to a request every time this would get 11/10! Themed night options were terrible - the set menu was wildly expensive and we never chose this. Food options are good but slightly limited after 4 nights we were pretty much through the menu and items we would like but the fresh fish and tenderloin were very good and we enjoyed them. Cocktails were awful - worst of the hotels we stayed at and also very expensive - Never had such a bad old fashioned! Wine list is extensive but can buy a case of wine for the price of a bottle - appreciate the location and venue but even compared to Dubai 5 star hotel prices and Maldives these were on another level. Boat trip to La Digue was excellent and well worth a day out, Snorkelling gear was well used and we went snorkelling twice and both times had a leaking mask which we had to return - both had tears in the rubber which was very visible. Resort manager and all GEMS very pleasant. Honeymoon welcome package along with the passion deck sunset experience were very nice and the 60 min couples massage was excellent! We have stayed at some wonderful hotels in the world and the six senses could be right up there if the serving staff were more attentive, they had proper bar tenders to make cocktails, the food menu was slightly better and the drinks prices more reasonable - it ticks every other box so well!

Excellent location, just the hotel and a national park, 2 beaches, 2 restaueants, good food, perfect service. Caveat: in June the winds are getting stronger, choppier seas, so go earlier if possible since activities like sunset cruise, or snorkelling can be a bit challenging.

Absolutely stunning. Fantastic snorkeling. Incredible beaches. Great, discreet services. Environmentally friendly; we see no single use plastics. Lovely private pool in the villa, great pool in the shared area. Top notch massages with amazing massage rooms facing the sea. Amazing picnic by the hill. Nice short helicopter ride to the airport - worth the view. Nothing to complain about.

It's that holiday that when you leave, all you want to do is cry. I highly recommend the helicopter transfers to and from the Island, perfect way to arrive and only 15 mins from Mahe International airport. The new manager and his fabulous dog Jack made our stay incredible, we couldn't have wanted for me. The villas are sensational, make sure you go for the view, we had the panoramic and it was incredible. The island is so beautiful, you must must do the champagne sundowner, I will never forget that view as long as I live. All the staff are just wonderful from the buggy guys, to the spa team and all the staff that served us daily with incredible food and drinks. A massive thank you to Christine from Seyexclusive and their dream team for making it happen again.

The most beautiful, remote and serene resort for our honeymoon. The villas were even larger and more amazing than photographed! We had a great time relaxing by the pool, exploring the beaches, renting kayaks. One recommendation, if you prefer sunset over sunrise view, I recommend that you request a villa on that side of the island. I wish we had known that and will plan to do that if you return. The food and beverage program as well as service is the area that needs improvement. The service at the restaurant is very slow and disorganized, with several people seemingly standing around while you wait for a drink to be brought to you. The cocktails could also use some variation. Also, while your package may be 'full board,' you'll likely end up spending for add-ons and dinner options. Our service butler assigned to us was also very kind, but I don't think added a ton of value to the stay. Also if you chose to hike be careful! The trail is very unmarked and felt a little dangerous. Overall such a gorgeous place, I think about it all the time!

I decided to revisit six senses zil pasyon and regreted deeply and was so disappointed. The recent experience my family and I had at this highly esteemed 5-star resort. As loyal IHG platinum members of this resort for years, we expected nothing short of exceptional service and a memorable stay. Unfortunately, our recent visit fell far below our expectations, leaving us disheartened and questioning our loyalty. The disappointing experience kept us overwhelmed as we are with our 2 year old on a very far island and the only way to reach was on a helicopter which we did on arrival and expected the same as usual on the way out ,But surprisingly when we checked with the butler (which is not our job) no coordination was planned for us and the only way out now was a 1 and half hour boat ride which isn't a choice as it is 4 times the price of a helicopter or a helicopter 5 hours ahead of our scheduled departure which is totally unconvinent for us or our child. We are forced now to take this option and management didn't find a solution and they said we should take the option and go sit in a lounge and wait for 5 hours! The butler forgot to even coordinate the whole thing, which is a lack of attention to our needs and preferences. It felt as though our loyalty was taken for granted, and we were treated like any other ordinary guests As loyal members, we had expected our concerns to be addressed promptly and effectively. Especially as returning gusets, however, when we approached the guest relations team/ managers to express our dissatisfaction, we were met with dismissive responses . This lack of accountability and a genuine effort to rectify the situation only served to heighten our disappointment. It deeply saddens us to write this as we have shared countless wonderful memories at this resort in the past. However, this recent experience has left us questioning our continued loyalty. We genuinely hope that this serves as a wake-up call to address the shortcomings we encountered during our stay. We believe that a 5-star resort should not only deliver exceptional amenities but also prioritize the satisfaction and loyalty of its valued guests. We hope to see the necessary improvements and regain our faith in this resort. We sincerely hope that you take our feedback into consideration and work towards restoring the reputation and excellence that we have admired for so long.
