It was a memorable 4 days' trip for all of us. We loved that they arranged for us Filipino dishes for one of our lunch. Also, their creamy garlic and chili Lobster and creamy chili prawn & scallop pasta are sumptuous! A must try!! Very relaxing with fantastic view of the ocean. We enjoyed chasing sunset in their viewing deck. Friendly and attentive staff. Overall, we had a blast!

We stayed at Rapopo Plantation for 3 nights and it was one of our best vacation ever. The whole family enjoyed most especially the kids. From the beach, to the pool and the dolphin watch, the whole experience was awesome. The team provided excellent customer service led by the Manager, Darryl. They were kind enough to prepare a romantic anniversary dinner for me and my husband which made the celebration very memorable. We highly recommend this resort and will tell all friends of our experience. Thank you Rapopo Plantation!

We stayed 3 nights at Rapopo on our first ever trip to Rabaul. Our main purpose for this part of our trip was to rest and recuperate on our honeymoon. It was the perfect location - a quiet spot a few minutes drive out of town. The view from the rooms - the clean and well maintained pool area with the beach and volcanoes in the background - was perfect. The free airport transfers was a bonus that some other resorts do not offer. Not only that, but they also offer free shuttles into town each day that make it so that you don't feel stuck and can explore the markets. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were well cleaned, with reliable hot water and air conditioning. The pool is large, clean and relaxing. The food was great. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying (both a standard full breakfast of eggs and meats plus a continental buffet of cereal, fruit and bread). The week's dinner specials were a nice addition to the varied menu. The lobster in particular was spectacular. We enjoyed all our meals (price varied from K40-100 which is fair value). The dive shop was closed when we were there which would be a barrier to those looking for adventure. We were able to kayak and snorkel at the resort and there are lovely reef views a short swim off shore - incredible! With the free shuttles, though, and other places in town offering tour packages, it was easy to find some adventure while being able to return to a relaxing spot. Perfect. The management is attentive and welcoming and made an effort to know us as well as treat us to an upgrade as a congratulations on our wedding. This was a wonderful surprise. The room service was quick. Overall, we would highly recommend this place and, given the opportunity, would easily return again! Thank you Rapopo! Few notes for improvement: - Have more snorkeling masks available (there was only one full set at the desk which my husband and I shared). -

Friendly staff, excellent cuisine, rooms cleaned daily. Very quiet and great environment to relax in the pool and unwind, was able to get a room with the view of Mt Tavurvur and the beach waterfront. I would stay again on my next trip to Kokopo ENB.

Arrived at Rapopo 3rd of October 2021, first impression 💯 percent vaccinated all staff then your temperature is taken before entry then you are welcomed (powhiri) is what we call it in maori very moving made me teary like going on to our marae’s back home NZ then we are treated with a Kulau local coconut 🥥 drink refreshing. The management and staff were very friendly and welcoming made one feel at home immediately. We chose a room next to the pool as I love swimming and l swam everyday and then swam in the sea relaxed me the warm water and has got to be the minerals in that water from the volcano just took all my pain away I could of stayed there for hours. I would highly recommend the Balinese massage there I had 2 treatments 90 minutes each god didn’t want it to end First treatment done by Bonnie tiny girl but strong hands on the Monday and Wednesday Elonka both girls were excellent please try the massage you will not regret it. The food was amazing I have no complaints at all from the buffet breakfast all the way through to dinner at sunset on the deck is a must amazing sunsets 🌅. The birds there never annoyed us in fact it was music to my ears listening to them wildlife can’t beat it beautiful and the colours striking and of course feeding the fish at 7.am in the morning from the deck was fun all sorts and sizes would come for buffet breakie of bread lettuce rice etc. The only venture we did was the market at Kokopo l have never seen such a clean organised market full of fresh fruits, vegetables, artwork clothes bought a nice dress there and ladies selling shells to earrings necklaces etc. The people were very friendly and helpful couldn’t believe how clean it was no rubbish, buai or and not allowed to smoke there the rangers are out on patrol on the spot fine lookout. So with that we didn’t bother to venture out as l had done the volcanoes and caves years ago my idea of a few days there was to soak up the friendly service offered to us and relax which is exactly what we did and l would highly recommend Rapopo Resort as the place to visit. I would like to thank Megan and her managers and all her staff for making our stay memorable. Nga Mihi Mahana Xx Warm thank you 🙏
