Thank you Rapopo for always coming through for me. 3rd time to stay here, I was given an upgrade to a suite! I love it! Nice bed, very spacious, and I especially enjoyed the tub. Food was delicious as always, and the staff are very helpful, and facilitating. And the sunsets are to die for.

I had to extend my stay at Rapopo by two days due to flight cancellations and the staff at Rapopo made the travel disruptions more bearable. The staff was awesome and attended to our requests as much as they could. Special mention goes to Gina who went out of her way to help us. The resort itself was also in a great location. It has a nice view of the volcanoes across the sea as well as a beautiful sunset. If you are lucky, you may even be able to spot a few dolphins from the hotel itself. Only room for improvement was the variety of food. After five nights there, I was unfortunately getting a tad bored of the menu. Overall, a great place to stay at in Rabaul definitely!

Service was excellent. Always greeted with a smile. All staff very friendly. Rooms were comfortable. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Plenty of activities to do and sites to see. Very relaxed atmosphere. Well worth 5 star rating.

The resort is absolutely beautiful! Located a just few minutes drive away from the airport and has stunning views of crystal waters, Mt Tavurvur and islands. Rapopo's customer service is over and beyond and ensure your stay is enjoyable and memorable. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. They also provide transport services for guests to Kokopo town. The Garden Bay Poolside room is spacious with beautiful view looking over the pool and outward to the beautiful water, has all amenities to make your stay comfortable. The Lobster Mornay cooked by their awesome chef is the best and a "must-try" dish! Rapopo provides massage and spa services. The back massage was a much-need and was very relaxing. Fantastic Resort - Stayed several times now at Ropopo Resort and found it to always found the staff/Management to be very friendly, great service and good food. Overall up there with the best I have stayed at.

We came without a reservation and the hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming nonetheless. We came to Rapopo for an art project and stayed there for two weeks. During this time we got to know the staff and team so well to the point that it felt like a family. Every morning I played and sang to the birds that also lived in rapopo and delivered a polyphonic concert every day at sunrise. Snorkeling around the beach is an amazing experience and the deck is a perfect place to relax while lookibg st the volcanoes in the distance. Bit one of the things we wont forget were the staff! Everyone was always so helpful and thoughtful and everyone helped us with everything necessary for the project to come to life. We finished exactly the day of our departure and left with a great sadness to leave Rapopo and our new friends behind. Nevertheless we are sure to come back! And can not stress enough the quality of what for what after only two weeks, already feels like home. 💜…

Rapopo Plantation Resort was a lovely place to say. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location next to beautiful blue waters with meals on the deck were an enjoyable experience. Snokelling at Small Pigeon Island in crystal clear waters saw many and varied fish. The trip to Rabaul to visit the hot springs and war sites - underground hospital and museum, etc - was well worth it.

The resort is located right on the beach where you can snorkel over the close by reef. The staff are lovely , helpful and can’t do enough to make your stay pleasant. The food is yummy and I pigged out in lobster several times which was cooked to perfection. The room is basic but comfortable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in kokopo. The shuttle service is flexible if you are too. It’s a fab place to stay for couples, families and even for a lone traveller.
