The entrance to this little gem would be easy to miss, if it hadn't been for the pole with all the wooden fish on it. It really is a kind of "thataway" sign.
The young man working reception was really helpful and honest, making time to explain a few things and happy to give a little history lesson with regards to the local traditions and the people in the community. He even took the time to explain
why the town carries two names.
The facilities are all there, though the WiFi signal didn't go any further than the site to my right. And there were a lot of sites beyond that one. I had to physically take my devices close to the office to be able to pick up the signal, quickly log in, and then my
devices were able to hold on to it without losing the signal for a second.
From my motorhome I had a magnificent sight of the nearby mountains, the museum, and the nearby facilities. It's a quiet, beautiful place, with a playground that's been given a First Nations touch. It's a great place for a few nights and is embraced by its surroundings. I'll definitely be staying here again some day.

The Witset RV Park & Campground is an amazing campground. Witset gives its patrons a panoramic view of snow peaked mountains. We visited Witset at the end of May 2024 and could not have been more pleased. The sites are adequately spaced and flat. The showers are hot and clean. And unbelievably, the laundry room washers and dryers are free! We left Witset clean and refreshed.

We were only going to stay one night on our way home from Alaska but it was their grandopening and we were so glad we decided to spend an additional night. The staff were very friendly and informative. They invited us to a free dinner at their grandopening and they had a program for all which included some of their indian dances. We toured their museum and the grounds were outstanding. The area with the river running through it was beautiful. We would highly recommend to anyone in the area or traveling through. We stayed in 2018.

Beautiful campground, careful when you make a reservation though they don’t honor it. Got another site sure. And yes they didn’t charge us (free 2 nights) it wasn’t the site we had personally booked! Was situated by washrooms witch was very busy ( not where we wanted to be!!! We have been going there for years…. Sad they’ve loss a faithful user!

We wanted to stop for the night. And we saw this campsite. It is beautiful!!!! Again it is a first come first serve pick a sight and pay when someone comes around. They are amazing spots. Very very clean and they have beautiful showers and laundry and bathrooms. There is fire wood available and trails to walk. The museum is also there but we did not go in it. I would definitely stay here they had free wifi as well the young man who helped us was awesome. I would definitely recommend this camp ground to everyone.

A beautiful place with amazing staff. Everything you need coupled with great prices. The museum is only a short walk across the park and has a great view of the canyon from above. The free showers, wifi, and firewood make it especially convenient.
