Tranquil Point is so much more than accommodation, it is an experience. It's a place to relax and rejuvenate. It's a place to reconnect with yourself, connect with nature, connect with others. It's a place to refocus on your health through daily rest, organic produce and yoga.

Had a fantastic experience with all the wonderful people who attended. Meditation every morning, followed be Bikram yoga class led by Rajashri, with wonderful corrections and feedback. A quick dip in the ocean the relaxed breakfast, free time, then posture clinic or lecture. Afternoon yoga class if you were up for it, then dinner and yoga talk till you collapsed. Wonderful company, relaxed accommodation, good simple food. Will certainly return to this amazing tranquil point. Looking at the optional questions below, this could be a beautifully romantic stay with the tranquility that abounds everywhere, there is access to communal full kitchen, help yourself, who needs a pool when you have the ocean.

I can not speak highly enough of my experience at Tranquil Point. I stayed for 2 weeks and found it very difficult to leave. The propert is georgeous!!! Breathtaking ocean views from the bedroom ( best sleep I’ve had in years), and a beautiful open garden that leads straight down to 2 private beaches... absolutely stunning to watch the sunrise from. The peace and quiet Tranquil Point provides makes it the perfect place to get away and reset. The owner Ben, was so warm and joyful as a host and his beautiful dog sassy was sweet and an absolute delight to have around. I have already booked my next 2 week stay in March and endeavour to holiday here in the future. My recommendation: if anyone wants or needs to find the peace and joy in life again... this is definitely the place to go.

Stayed here for a few days, (reside in Melbourne) desperate to get some peace and down time. There were a couple of ladies staying here, one of whom was the assistant cook, cleaner etc. They were part of a special international Bikram Yoga Retreat Course, package, which includes accomodation, yoga and meals (at an extra cost) I was there, independently. I wasn't there for the Hot Yoga but in the end, I did my first ever Bikram Yoga class, at a cost of $20, which of course is instructed by the Owner, Teacher. The class was Excellent, a very supportive and nurturing environment! Very professional, with a number of attendees from the local community. I was allocated the Blackwood room, originally I booked the Celery top room, but it was smaller, so i got a slight upgrade. Complete with a beautiful, breathtaking view, overlooking the bay. Had the whole upstairs floor to myself, with a short walk to the shared bathroom, toilet and shower combined. Can't imagine how noisy it would be if there were other people there, and the 18 people attending the yoga retreat course, who had left prior to my arrival. A lady from the UK, the only person remaining from the Retreat course, for the duration of my stay, had the only ground floor room with private ensuite bathroom. She had no complaints. But may I say, Don't be fooled into the false advertising! The so called HANDMADE beds appear lovely in the photographs but in all honesty, VERY Uncomfortable. Worst I've ever slept on! The metal springs, dig into your back and the beds are hard. I informed the others about this, and the Owner. He suggested adding a doona over the top, like a pillow top. Luckily, I had brought a spare doona and blanket to ease the discomfort. Adding to my sleeplessness, there is an annoying red light constantly flashing from smoke alarm, directly above your bed. There are no lamps. The shower is a joke, very low water pressure. And very noisy plumbing noise, heard from downstairs taps, kitchen. After my first nights difficult sleep, being woken by the assistant, at 6.50am, wasn't appreciated. She decided to put all the dishes away, from the previous night, crashing and slamming cupboards, directly below my room. (Not sure, if she realised) Also, didn't appreciate her scabbing my food from the fridge, brought for my own personal use. i.e. 250g of butter, that I hadn't even opened, which she had nearly All used to make breakfast, i.e. bacon and eggs, and then gourmet Lasagne, catering for the lady who had payed an exorbitant amount of money, to stay there.(Which I wasn't a part of) On my last night, being kept awake by the owners little yapping dog, from 11.30pm til 12.30am, wasn't great. Also, the dog barks at anything during the day as well, on the front verandah. I can't believe the cheek of the owner, asking me, "Are you having fun yet?" Applaud him for keeping the house very warm, if necessary, with a fire going everyday and night, including fire heated water. Such a shame, overall. A few alterations could improve things. Given there are actually some historical, negative reviews on the internet, I don't think there will be any alterations, any time soon.
