We went to Blue Lagoon which we had booked on bookings.com before going. We got a price and went there. When we came the long way and showed our reservation the guy in the reception was very rude and wanted extra cash payed to him if we wanted to stay. We did not have any other option. It was obvious that he was playing us. We had no other option arriving late at evening so we stayed anyway. But only for 1 night! We tried the restaurant and it was also a cheat. Worst food we possibly tried in the whole of Caribbean. Blue Lagoon is a big SCAM with all the reviews made by friends and employees of the place. It was a really bad experience and I would never tell anyone to go there. All other places we went was really nice and not trying to cheat us.
I arrived at a well-tucked away location. The Staff was welcoming and quite attentive. Room was exquisite, comfortable and clean. Restaurants and food supplies abounds..oohh the codfish and bakes (still licking my fingers and lips) and the Niçoise salad 😋 All food locations are on FB. Ask Sabrina for a room with a view of the beach or the dock🤩. Imagine waking up with this view. If you don’t own a boat, you are free to admire the many docked catamarans. Local transport is 1 minute away. Côme see Foh yoself yo go see weh ah tarking bout! 🇻🇨nice
Beautiful hotel ! But the staff let me say the young ladies that work at the front desk horrible customer service they need to be fired always have an attitude not helpful at all and especially rude to family members dropping off food . Brian though he’s amazing he should be the manager you need more workers like him very helpful, if it wasn’t for him I think our stay there would have been worst but we were very thankful for him.
We live aboard a 57’ Catamaran and operate it as a charter business, so we’ve spent our fair share of time in marinas throughout the Caribbean - Blue Lagoon is top notch. Every convenience one could want is readily available. We dropped 5 loads of laundry in the office upon arrival and had it back the next day. We dined at the Loft restaurant, enjoyed excellent food and just a super friendly and attentive staff. It’s amazing how a great staff is really key to a great experience. We conducted some business which everyone bent over backwards to see us succeed in, the support was unreal. The marina even arranged for a generator repair that saved the day. We’ll be back every chance we get.
My husband and I headed south on our sailboat to St Vincent from the northern Caribbean in late August. We were moving out of the high hurricane zone for a few weeks but we had no plan on where to stay after our quarantine. We chose the Blue Lagoon Hotel and Marina because it was easily accessible from our quarantine area and we were ready to get off the boat. The marina staff met us at the dock to help us get tied up and were extremely helpful the entire time. Once on the dock, we stayed for seven weeks until high hurricane season was over. During that time, we used the well stocked Blue Lagoon Market (grocery) almost daily. We also ate at all three restaurants, The Loft, Cafe Soleil, and Flowt Beach Bar on numerous occasions. All three were excellent with lovely smiling, caring staff and the food was fantastic. The sunsets from the dock or Flowt Beach Bar gave an amazing view of sunset over the Caribbean and we were even able to see the green flash a few times. In addition, the marina and front desk staff helped us daily with anything we needed from sending out our laundry to helping us get taxi's and tours. As a fully functioning marina, they have diesel and gasoline for sale, as well as water. I cannot say enough nice things about the Blue Lagoon Hotel and Marina and we look forward to visiting with them again.…
