The housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly. The rooms were clean. The Loft restaurant extremely expensive and inefficient. The promissed free continental breakfast is a laugh, since they were always out of fruit, yogurt and pastry 3 of the 5 items on the menu.

Great place to stay before and after a cruise. Makes leaving the boat and returning to reality a lot easier. Nice spot to have drinks and watch the sun set. The food is good. Pool is quiet and nice. But no beach, but it’s easy to take a bus or taxi to nearby beach. Beds very comfortable. The best part is the wonderful staff.

Good for a night. The pool area didn’t seem all that well maintained (loungers were on their last legs and the pool didn’t look especially clean). Rooms are comfortable. Service was fine though not especially warm. Not much to do on site. Restaurant food was not great.

Deluxe Rooms looking out over the Marina - allocated to two out of three in our party, the other was room 22 with a view of untended vegetation and up very steep stairs - why not place a group that booked together in rooms in the same block? Within the Loft Restaurant, the food is very hit and miss, although in the vast majority of cases the food was nice, it took forever to be served and was often luke warm - on one occasion the beef sandwich contained no beef! A spend limit is set for breakfast and if you go over this you are billed for the difference - booked with Virgin for accommodation and breakfast, therefore I see no reason for additional payments to be made! The adjoining bars are good, with Micheal, Winston and Shenny all deserved of a mention as the food and cocktails were excellent. If Customer Service was to be improved a better holiday would have been had - very sullen reception especially Brian, who bordered on being rude. Karen our cleaner was brilliant and could teach others about Customer Services.

The pictures really do not do it credit! Amazing location with stunning views. Wonderful room and excellent facilities. Range of bar and restaurant options, each with good menu and great views. The staff were outstanding for reception, room service, bars and dining. Everything impeccably clean and everyone so friendly, cheerful and helpful. Can’t recommend it enough.

Oh boy ..no way is blue Lagoon a 4 star! So many things wrong or niggles. We arrived at 12.30 check in is 15.00, the room was ready we had to pay $10extra to get in the room early Only one room key that also enabled the power in room .. when my wife was having a nap in the afternoon I had to leave the door ajar when I went out so I could get in Not that they can help this but cockerels screaming at 4.30 AM every morning. I paid 10% extra for a refundable booking, we paid for 3 nights but wanted to leave after 2 even though I gave 24 hours’ notice they would not refund one night The service in The Loft and The Dockside café is so slow, I ordered fried eggs for myself ( they were cold) and Granola, fruit, yogurt, and honey (as per the menu) both days had to ask for the honey. By the time it arrived I had eaten it. Asked for a pot of hot water, that came but no cups. The Baileys in the Loft bar was so thin .. watered down. The TV in the room is positioned as such it is impossible to watch in bed Insult to injury you charge 10% service charge for food . I would not mind if you received good service ! The only good points are their chosen guide is Lex , one of his guys Orlando did an awseome island tour and Azizi the receptionist , was great at reception on the morning we left , she was the first person to ask " how was breakfast?" Etc and then remove one breakfast charge as compassion for our experience M PS The Flowt Beach Bar next door is no better for service.

It didn't start well with a stone-faced receptionist who seemed lost and mumbled inaudibly. She also quoted me more than what was on my booking, but this was resolved with the help of another receptionist. We were shown a room but the housekeeping staff told us it wasn't ready. Our porter went to find another room and we got one only to find that the safe wasn't working. Eventually it was fixed. The A/C was hard to calibrate as it tended to be too powerful when on. But we had a nice view from the balcony and two comfortable beds in a clean room. We could eat and drink on two levels and found that very useful as walking along the main road was hazardous. Eating in the second floor restaurant required some patience, but the end result was good. There were several cheerful and helpful staff whom we encountered during our three-night stay and we left with good memories.

Rooms 1-10 face out over the marina and the sea whilst rooms 11-20 look out over the garden at the side. Very friendly staff and I would like to especially mention Azizi who works on the reception. She is a really friendly, courteous and helpful person who helped us with restaurant recommendations and taxi bookings. The water from the taps and shower can be a bit intermittent but maintenance do their best to sort out any problems. The pool is a bit hard to find but worth the effort. The cockerels running around the place are a bit noisy early in the morning. It's a steep walk up to the main road so better to take the side road which can be found past the dive centre.

The loft restaurant.. DO NOT ViSIT THIS RESTAURANT AT NIGHT. I called to make sure this restaurant was open for the evening around 8pm, the front desk informed me that it closed at 10pm. Once we got to the restaurant at 8:30 no waitress was there to be found, 15 minutes later after complaining about no one seating us, the waitress RUDELY comes out and says, sorry but we can’t sit your party because of the back up in the kitchen, then we told her that we been waiting here and you’ve been in the back for 15 minutes, while people were looking all over for you.. she proceeds to say that the food will take a long time if I seat you. No manager to be found in the hotel, and the front desk receptionist looked dumbfounded and was no help, when she told us it was ok to come in for dinner.

Amazing stay! Accommodations were superb and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The views were wonderful and the restaurant was a great spot to eat and watch the sunset! Jamal was especially helpful with suggestions on places to go and things to see! He definitely helped make the most of a short business trip. Will certainly be back again anytime I’m on the island.
