We have been traveling on our boat from Florida headed south and have been gone from Jan to now in mid-June. We have been stopping at many islands and have been to many restaurants in those months. The Loft is the best we have experienced in our travels. First is the view is very nice. The wait staff was informed and friendly alwyas with a smile. Everything was clean and fresh. But the main reason we are so happy is the food. I often order beef when at a restaurant in that my wife does not eat beef, so we never have it one the boat. It is like a treat for me when I get it and I always hope it will be perfectly cooked with great flavor and tender. The chef nailed it! Cooked to perfection and it was no small cut of steak. Great portion for the price and the pan sauce is the best I ever had. It came with creaming whipped potatoes and fresh veggies. In all my restaurant visits in over 50 years, this is only the second time that I asked to meet the chef and provided a tip directly. If you are in the area of South St Vincent, take the opportunity to have a great experience at the Loft in the Blue Lagoon Hotel

I had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Lagoon for11 nights. Roger the manager and his yard went above and beyond. The rooms are clean, the food is great and the service was top notch. Special shout out to Junior and the rest of the restaurant staff who served me before their normal breakfast hours. Highly recommend!!! Robin

Great hotel that has pool and a amazing bay to swim in and several restaurant options in house and close by. I stayed for work and the wifi as well as the set up in the room is perfect. But would also be a great hotel to just relax and enjoy the beautiful island on St. Vincent. The staff were extremely professional and forth coming and made my stay superb! highly recommend to anyone.

Lovely hotel, seems to be the sort of place that you transit through, either waiting for the ferry to the islands or waiting for a yacht charter, rather than spending a vacation. Rooms very well equipped, staff very accommodating. Pool great. Upstairs restaurant has very good food although the service is sporadic and watch the prices. We would not recommend the cafe below. We ordered burgers and pizza before a flight, bit silly in the Caribbean, and both were poor. The burgers were inedible.

Arrived last night. Greeted with a complimentary cocktail and a quick check in a very nice lobby. We were in the room a few minutes later. Large and spacious with high ceilings, two king size beds, and an amazing westerly facing balcony overlooking the sea with additional day bed. We had dinner in the restaurant which was tasty but we were too tired to really appreciate. Be ready fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and a chorus of crickets and woken by a sunrise rooster. We are only here for a couple of days but could easily chill for a week.

We went to Blue Lagoon which we had booked on bookings.com before going. We got a price and went there. When we came the long way and showed our reservation the guy in the reception was very rude and wanted extra cash payed to him if we wanted to stay. We did not have any other option. It was obvious that he was playing us. We had no other option arriving late at evening so we stayed anyway. But only for 1 night! We tried the restaurant and it was also a cheat. Worst food we possibly tried in the whole of Caribbean. Blue Lagoon is a big SCAM with all the reviews made by friends and employees of the place. It was a really bad experience and I would never tell anyone to go there. All other places we went was really nice and not trying to cheat us.

Response from Sophie Hadley, General Manager at Blue Lagoon Hotel & Marina
Responded Mar 15, 2021
Good Afternoon Adam P, We were very sorry to read your review and hear of your bad experience at the hotel - this is not in line with our usual standards! The only additional charges you would pay on check-in would be taxi charges, climate levy fee's (Government charge) or any additional persons in the room. With your reservation, when you checked in the manager on duty explained to the group there would usually be an additional fee for more than 2 guests per room - in your case there were 4 adults, but since you booked via booking.com we honored the rate, so no additional cash was taken. The rate you paid for the room was US$100++ which was paid in XCD cash, so you would have paid the converted rate - nothing extra was charged. I apologize if this was not explained clearly on check-in, I will look into this further. There are 3 restaurants on-site, not all run by the hotel so it would be helpful to know where you dined. I would welcome your further comments: gm@bluelagoonsvg.com

I arrived at a well-tucked away location. The Staff was welcoming and quite attentive. Room was exquisite, comfortable and clean. Restaurants and food supplies abounds..oohh the codfish and bakes (still licking my fingers and lips) and the Niçoise salad 😋 All food locations are on FB. Ask Sabrina for a room with a view of the beach or the dock🤩. Imagine waking up with this view. If you don’t own a boat, you are free to admire the many docked catamarans. Local transport is 1 minute away. Côme see Foh yoself yo go see weh ah tarking bout! 🇻🇨nice
