Unfortunately we only stayed one night in this wonderful, wonderful place. We had three rooms in total for our group and each and everyone of them was gorgeous and very, very comfortable (air conditioning! In France! In the extreme summer heat of these weeks (36 C). Pool lovely, with enough sun beds, breakfast wonderful and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive away of Le Mans (which is apart from the 24h museum and the Plantagenet area relatively underwhelming). In a nutshell: go!

Beautiful country chateau, charming spot which felt like a escape from everything! The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor in the rooms is really charming. The staff were really helpful and welcoming! A highlight was getting a tour of the beautiful chateau by the owner who was so passionate about their project! Would really recommend! It is a lovely family business and we really enjoyed our stay. The only down side is there is no restaurant on the site. They do however do lovely meat and fish platters! Thanks so much for a really great stay to all the staff- Philippine and Charlene especially! Wishing you every success, from the Theunissens

Beautiful serene location, wonderful, helpful staff, delicious breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and Mariage Freres teas, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. We were sorry we spent only one night there. The chateau itself, though, is open only on certain days and at certain times.

What a find for us. We had to move hotels from one which was like a haunted house to this divine property. Greeted as we stepped out of our car, and shown to our charming bedroom and huge bedroom. Everything was super clean. No restaurant, but the staff were very helpful trying to find us a place to eat on the Bank Holiday which is tricky. Breakfast in the Chateau though was delicious!! Loved this place of peace & quiet so much that we are back in July & next year too. Cannot wait. If you are looking for a tranquil place to rest up, this is for you!

A picturesque hideaway in lovely French countryside with a most attentive host and staff. The rooms, fabrics, decoration and overall settings have been selected with the greatest care and stylistic confidence. A heated outdoor pool and a great estate make any stopover a complete and enjoyable. The breakfast is of great and tasteful quality.

We stayed here for one night on our way home from Spain. Perfect hideaway, ideally located close to highway. We were welcomed by the lady of the house which made us feel at home right away. Our room 7 was very nice and spacious, lots of details and great shower and bath. The chateau does not have a restaurant but upon booking you can opt for an in-room dining box or go out to the closest restaurant which is 5 minutes away. We choose the restaurant and were even taxied back and forth as an extra service. The breakfast was an abundant feast of croissants, pain au chocolate, scrambled eggs, fruit and the hostess had an even longer list to select from. Just perfect overall: location, room, friendliness and service. And the best part: you're staying in a chateau!

We were invited to a wedding in the chateau, and were lucky to get a room which was canceled by another invitee who got injured. The buildings have been renovated and are now a oasis of peace and luxury. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated as in former times. The bathroom is modern en well equipped. All comfort is available (airco, tv, wifi, safe, fridge ...). The beds were amazing to sleep in. The breakfast was not included, so we cannot judge the quality of this? The hotel is located near Le Mans and near the autoroute, so you can easily go anywhere you want. The domain is huge and very well maintained. There is also a pool and a secured parking lot. The staff was fabulous, nothing too much, always helpful and friendly. It's not cheap to stay, but it's definitely worth the money!

We popped in for just the one night on our way down through France to the South West, stopping over to break the journey... In truth the macro-circumstances were unpromising... COVID; and into October - so getting out of season... ...the benefit of which was we had a beautiful room (Room8) which we chose after being given the choice of room with bath or shower... I had been a little concerned when booking as this is one of those rooms in the attic/loft space, and being 6ft 4 I often find myself cramped in such spaces as they invariably have a beam or other compromise... needn't have worried! The room was divine! Tastefully and carefully renovated... charming but modern at the same time... and even for me no height worries whatsoever! The welcome from the staff at check in was professional yet warm, and that tone of care and attention stayed throughout our (very short) stay... indeed prior to arriving we had been in touch many times and all questions/requests were dealt with speedily and efficiently. On arrival my wife spotted that they can arrange for massages... despite it being late on a Saturday we managed to arrange for a visit from the masseuse on the Sunday morning, which was a lovely thing, especially as many businesses in October (or often any time) won't do anything on a Sunday, so rest assured that facility will be available to you should you choose... and if you choose - you won't be disappointed. The feedback was that the massage was one of the best ever! There is no restaurant on site - which is always a disappointment. In our case, due to the tiredeness of travel etc we stayed in for their "restauration" in our room... we chose from a small menu on arrival and at the allotted time the food arrived... typically pre-prepared items with the main course interestingly cooked sous-vide in a glass pot/jar... despite the limitations of such a set up the starters (foie gras and soup) and desserts (cheesecake - but not as you know it) were really excellent; the main course suffered for the method but was still tasty. Breakfast was excellent too - you can often tell the quality of an establishment by the quality of its bread/pastry basket - and this was truly delicious. Served to us all alone in the breakfast room, decorated with animal print all over and some interesting frescos... a style that worked (but only in a hotel!!). The place really is beautiful... from the rooms to the grounds (I enjoyed a lovely tranquil Saturday evening stroll) and the service... this was EXACTLY what we needed to break our travels - our only sadness was that we were there for such a short space of time. Gorgeous! (Oh - and the bed and bed linen were AMAZING too!!) Anything not great...? Very very tiny niggle - great to have a wireless/alarm with bluetooth to stream music - but the sound quality was quite tinny.

Very nice hotel. Lodgings are actually next door to the Chateau, in a contemporary decorated building. There is a nice breakfast area and small sculpture garden in front of the hotel. There's also a nice pool. Staff are excellent. The hotel does not offer lunch or dinner, but they will provide a recommendation list. Le Mans town centre is 15 minutes drive . Nor is there a bar. Rooms are well kept with new bathrooms.

We thank you for this warm feedback. In fact, we do not have a restaurant but we offer a quality catering menu. Our lounge-bar area and the terrace are available until 22:00 every day. We hope to have the opportunity soon to offer you a glass of our rosé wine during your next visit. Regards Isabelle
