Detailed Reviews
Dear all,
This year we were booked for Greece. Instead, we had to change our plans in a wink of an eye as Greece added new requirements for entering the country.
So, we decided to go to Bulgaria instead, to Sinemorets, where we chose to stay at Asti which proved to be an inspired choice.
The apartment was cozy, spacious, had all the necessary amenities, a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard with a playing ground for children who were happily playing there.
Lush gardens, swimming pool (clean and carefully cared for), tennis court and a restaurant that made it possible to have breakfast, lunch and dinner on its terrace, or in our room.
By the way, food was high quality and fresh and the staff very helpful.
We had a great, relaxed stay for which we thank very much.

My boyfriend and I spent 17 nights in this hotel from August 17th to August 31st.
We spent wonderful holidays and recommend this hotel to every family, couple or single traveller.
Sinemorets is a beautiful village. It is still very natural and remains a little heaven hidden from the major touristic attractions. There are plenty of restaurant and activities to do.
The Hotel has a perfect location and is very close to two beautiful beaches.
You can either spend relax holidays at the pool and the beach or spend more energetic holidays by hiking on the cliffs, driving ATV, horse riding or fishing with the local people.
The hotel proposes a lot of activities to do. There are organised by local people that are really friendly and happy to show their culture.
The hotel’s services are excellent. The employees are very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were nice and always clean.
The restaurant is very good. The service is a bit slow but it does not really matter when you are in holidays.
In short, we highly recommend this wonderful hotel if you want to spend beautiful holidays.

I can recommend this hotel for pairs and for family vacation as well.
I spent here 5 nights with my partner, my 8years old son and my dad. We have traveled by car. I have chosen this destination for a quiet place with a little people, and no disco and beautiful seaside out of the noise of the city.
reception: The hotel owner Mrs. Voynova is an excellent manager and a very kind woman. She has been helpful all the time with a smile on her face. If others from the hotel staff didnt know anything, she came with a professional approach. The communication with her was excellent all the time. All questions have been answered to me in time and I was satisfied.
Room: we had the double room, one private bed room for me and my partner, and one for others. There was a living room with Tv, sofa, and a little kitchinette with plates, glasses, fridge.. There was enough space for luggage. The bed was comfortable, didint make any noises:) just the pillows were a bit tought for me.
There was a small balcony with table and chairs. WI-FI connection was sometimes slow, but for free and its about the 3star hotel standard.
Bathroom with tube and wc was allright, enought hot water all the time, enought clean towels and wc paper.Everything was clean and fine.No bad smells.
The room service was available everyday, everythig meets the 3star hotel standard. They cleaned everything perfectly, I had no problems with the room service all the time.
Restaurant: there is a small hotel restaurant, but its clean and there was always enought space for all the guests. breakfast was fine, eggs, sausages, bread, chees, salami, vegetables, enought fruits, musli, yogurt, sweets, coffee was good and also the biggest plus I see was the real orange juice, not the lemonades.Once again thanks for this, it made me feel realy good ab it.
Be aware, that there are no tea spoons in all Bulgarian hotels or restaurants, dunno why, but they just dont provide nowhere.
In the evening we went there for dinner twice, and I can strongly recommend the vegetable meals, mainly the Asti salad.delicious! The restaurant staff were young people, and their services could be much better, but they always came with smile, so we finaly get what we wanted.
Surrounding: the hotel is new looking, with art parts all around, well kept garden, clean, quiet.
beach: there are 3 beaches, one Butamyata is ab 10 mins walk down the hill, bit crowded, but clean. Lipite is accesable by walk only, we didnt visit, and Veleka to the north was beautiful, just a few ppl with perfectly clear water, and bar and restaurant, great for kids and great for dogs as well, we saw many of them swimming there:)
All in all, its a nice quiet original place for relax, with no crowds of screaming people, the hotel price is fine too. I would definitely come back again some time.

This was our third time in Sinemoretz, but for the first time we had hard time finding an accommodation there having no prior reservation. Everything was booked in August! Luckily we have been offered help form the owner of the Asti Hotel, who arranged a temporary accommodation elsewhere, before we moved into the Hotel. Many thanks for that! (Btw, usually the hotels do not direct customers to other properties, but these people did!). The owners speak very good english. Staff understands english good enough to get what you need. They will help you to order taxi to the airport in Burgas (the fare is 90,-lv).
The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated with contemporary art-pieces of Bulgarian and Romanian artists. Really nice! There is a wide playground for kids, swimming pool and a tennis court. On the top of that there is also a gym open 24/7. The restaurant serves breakfasts 8-10.30. We liked that a lot. Sometimes the coffee (always freshly brewed!) runs out but don’t panic – they will bring some more in a few minutes.
The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the main Beach. There is also another beach in Sinemoretz (my favorite) at the mouth of Veleka River. You will need to walk there for about 20 minutes. Plenty of restaurant around and friendly people everywhere. Go and see that all yourself!

Just returned from the best beach holiday you could wish for. 2 of us plus grandchild were looked after spectacularly well. The pool was sparkling, the apartment was spotless and comfortable, and the staff friendly but unobtrusive. I saw the staff actually cleaning the slide in the children's play area. The day I checked in happened to be my birthday and I found a bottle of wine, courtesy of the management, in our apartment. We didn't want to leave.

A really nice experience, the hotel is comfortable, everything inside is new, good quality and well maintained.
The overall architecture of the hotel is spectacular, favours intimacy and really pleasant once you get used to it.
The restaurant is simple, well decorated, cosy and serves tasty, unsophisticated food. Ingredients are all fresh, local wines well represented.
The quiet surroundings and rural family atmosphere are charming for anyone in search of a relaxing vacation far from the city mayhem.
Speaking of which, the local wi-fi could do with some upgrading.
Booking is straightforward and reliable, with prices undoubtedly fair for the value you're geting.
Overall, we spent there two great weeks.

I had a wonderful week in this hotel. The hotel is located near to the beachfront and in the same time it doesn't lose connection with the environment which is mainly nature. The breakfast is very pleasant, because there is a variety of food and even if you're vegetarian you'll enjoy a nice meal. The rooms are really comfortable and there are a lot of Wi-Fi spots that are with strong connection. But if you prefer outdoor activites than internet chatting, the hotel offers you a tennis court and a swimming pool. Asti Arthotel is not randomly named "art". Its yard has big variety of masterpieces of sculpturing, and in the rooms, there are paintings which together make one beautiful collection. Also the staff is very polite and very precise. I strongly recommend this hotel.

A private compound within less than 10 minute walking distance to the beach, the Asti Arthotel is a serene, family-friendly apartment style hotel that is absolutely worth your money. We stayed here with our 7 month old son for 4 nights in July, and this place allowed us to relax and really enjoy the natural beauty of Sinemorets without being a bother to other guests.
ROOMS: the rooms appear to be mostly/all apartment style living. We reserved an apartment on the second level since there were none left on the ground level. We had to walk up a short flight of stairs to get to the entry of our place. One might see this as a slight disadvantage; however, you could easily see the sea in the distance, probably not possible on the ground level. Most other families there seemed to be on the ground level, so probably something to keep in mind when making your reservation.
The apartment itself was extremely spacious, simple, but quite clean. It appears to have been newly renovated, with solid tile flooring and a modern toilet. We had a large and fully equipped kitchenette area in the apartment, ideal with kids and going on picnics by the beach. There was a small terrace outside, enough to sit and have your coffee in the morning. The hotel provided us a child's pack-and-play/cot for no extra charge for the time we were there. When asked, they even allowed us to do laundry (done by the cleaning staff) for a very minimal fee. Clothes came back folded and clean within a day's time.
SERVICES: the hotel has a beautiful recreational pool right inside the complex with a bar (though the bar was never open), a breakfast buffet every morning with Balkan treats, fresh veggies, warm pancakes, fresh juices, meats and cheeses. Lastly, the front desk staff were always more than friendly. I believe the owner is a Greek woman who has lived in Bulgaria for a long time. While my husband is Bulgarian and I am a foreigner, we never felt at any time that we were being cheated or given misleading information.
LOCATION: the Asti is a few minute walk to the beach at the far end of town, but is still a very easy walk to the main street with all restaurants and shops. This makes the Asti a bit quieter than other hotels in the area as it is not directly in the middle of all the action. A bit strange that there is no proper parking lot for cars...but everyone seemed to park on the side of the road.
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here and would definitely recommend this for families looking for great value, quiet location, easy access to beaches, restaurants at night, and wonderful service.

The staff was really friendly and they gave us great ideas for places to visit. I would recommend the Veleka Beach nearby the hotel. By all means it is one of the most beautiful and unique spots you can visit in Bulgaria. The food and wine choice were great. Bathrooms were really clean which is always a big plus.
