Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives has earned accolades for its exceptional service, with guests frequently lauding the warm welcomes and attentive staff. While the resort's rooms are often praised for their cleanliness and stunning views, some visitors have reported issues with housekeeping and the occasional unwelcome critter. The amenities, including diverse dining options and ocean-view villas, receive high marks, as does the resort's idyllic location.
Although the atmosphere is described as welcoming and often romantic, opinions on the ambience can vary. Cleanliness feedback is mixed, and some guests find the resort's pricing too steep, questioning its value for money.

The resort is perfect for honeymooners. We just loved everything about it . From the moment we checked in until we left , we enjoyed every single moment.
The resort is lovely, calm and romantic. Amenities are high standard , rooms are cozy and food was very good also.
I would like to thank Saira at the beach club for her great hospitality and Milhan at the reception for his help and support.
Already looking forward to come back soon.

We searched for a hotel in the Maldives with the following criteria: 1: Boat transfers available close to the airport (but not under the flight route) 2: Overwater villas 3: Buffet restaurant 4: High-quality service and a relaxed clientele 5: Reef edge
The fact that the rooms had hammocks was the deciding factor for us to stay at this hotel.
All pre-stay requests and question emails were answered promptly, and responses were received from other sections, so customer information management seemed to be done properly.
The on-site facilities and rooms were never left to deteriorate, and the pruning of vegetation, cleaning of the beach, and smoking of pest control were done daily, so maintenance and facility management were thorough.
We booked the cheapest lagoon water villa. There was a Hilton hotel on the opposite bank, and we were concerned about the view before our stay, but the actual view did not bother us. The horizon was longer in the Ocean Water Villa on the opposite side, but the white LED lights on the distant island were shining brightly, and the orange light of the hotel in front of us was more psychologically calming than the strong white light, so I was glad I stayed on the lagoon side.
When snorkeling, I saw turtles and sharks in the middle of the Ocean Water Villa, and rays off the coast of the pool bar. To snorkel, we had to go to the Ocean Water Villa side where the reef edge is, but there were several ladders on the pier that led down to the sea, so I think you can end up being comfortable in either side of the room. You can decide based on the wind direction, sunlight, and color of the sea depending on the season.
Check-out was at 7pm due to the departure time of the flight, but we were able to check out later than expected and were able to relax until the last day.
The water pressure in the shower in the room was neither too strong nor too weak, and the shampoo and body soap had good foaming. One disappointment was that all the pillowcases in the room smelled damp, which I was reluctant to use, so I think it's a good idea to bring a linen deodorizer with you. You won't have to worry about mosquitoes.
All the staff were polite, and the clientele was mostly calm and relaxed, with no loud noises or loud music, so I was able to spend my time peacefully. I think this hotel fits the atmosphere that many Japanese people look for when traveling.
During your stay, you will receive instructions from the host in charge of your room, and you will be able to ask questions and make requests. I recommend downloading the WhatsApp app, which is unfamiliar to Japanese people, and setting up an account before traveling. A review from a few years ago said that there were Japanese employees, but it seems that there are none at present.

This five star resort occupies the whole Kuda Vattaru small island, where you get either by a speedboat (20 minutes from Velana airport, $120 per person return) or by a hydroplane. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, amazing blue sea, beautiful white beaches (but don’t forget to bring water shoes, as corals are quite sharp) and a pleasant, attentive and communicative staff, all speaking good English. Accommodation in nicely furnished typical Malediv villas (97 oversea villas, half of them with pools, 5 large oversea residences with pools and 20 villas with pools at the beach). Each oversea villa and residence has a terrace, where one can relax in privacy above the sea. There are countless activities available on top of stunning beaches - large infinite pool, spa, gym, yoga, badminton, kids club, pool, chess, library, table football, table tennis, diving, snorchelling, fishing, bicycles, swimming with sharks, watching dolphins, photographer, transparent kayaks etc - however, most of them are paid separately and pretty overpriced. There are three restaurants on the island, all of them at the sea: Breethe - all day dining by the pool. This is the least expensive option with a good selection of meals and drinks, average service and rather loud music. Majority of our meals here were fine, those with chicken (e.g. sweet and sour) were disappointing. Fire Door fine dining - the best and quite expensive restaurant, offering really delicious and nicely presented meals. Very good service, amazing sea view. Edge - there are offered only buffet dinners, nothing a la carte. Buffet breakfast is served in Edge restaurant and the broad offer exceeded our expectation, really good. Free WiFi in villas and restaurants is reliable, power sockets are universal/international. The only thing which is quite disappointing is transport around the island - you can order a free electrical cart, but you will easily wait 20-30 minutes, so it is faster to walk (nothing is too far anyway). All in all, Grand Park Kodhiparu is a wonderful, quiet and safe place, ideal for a luxurious honeymoon or calm relaxing holidays. We will love to come again.

The most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to. I have a baby so I was peculiar about cleanliness which was top notch too. The fact that they picked us up straight from the airport and dropped us off was really good because I didn’t like the airport that much, it didn’t have any space to “wait”. Even the speedboat had wifi, which was a life saver because I used it to checkin for the departure flight. Amazing service from all of the staff. We almost always used the buggy service to travel from our villa to restaurants, which was super convenient.
Food was delicious: the buffet selections were really good and the restaurant staff were super nice too. The chefs were very kind and accommodating too - one of them, probably a higher up, saw my baby visibly cranky and offered to make some food for him. And he recommended combinations of sauces and other condiments to match our cultural cuisine which were perfect. There was an in-house photographer and the hotel gives 5 complementary photos and the shoot turned out great so we ended up upgrading to a paid photos package.
Advices: The humidity is crazy - so be prepared. Bring sunscreen, hats and other sun protection stuff with you. We only brought “fun” clothes but I saw others who did professional shoots with elegant clothing as well because the weather is not that cold during sunset and it looks beautiful.

The resort is not far from the main island of Malé and the international airport. The architecture and interior design are beautiful and bright. The overall impression is very good, but unfortunately the service at the pool bar "Breeze" leaves a lot to be desired.
We have an Ocean Overwater Villa with a beautiful view, which is unfortunately spoiled at night by a neighboring island that is lit up bright white all night long. You should also know that on the opposite side and from the restaurants "The Edge" and "Firedoor" you have a direct view of Malé and the airport as well as the airport island; however, the islands are far enough away that you do not experience any aircraft noise or any kind of disturbance. But it is not the real dream of the lonely Maldives island.
We chose half board for our 9-day stay for 2 adults and 2 children and this is more than enough, as the surcharge for all-inclusive is not justifiable.
After we arrived at the airport in Malé, immigration and baggage collection were quick and uncomplicated. Just outside we were greeted by a guide who took us to the speedboat and it felt like we were at the hotel within an hour of landing. Here we were greeted by our host Eliza and immediately taken to our villa. Check-in takes place in a completely personal atmosphere.
The morning begins with a rich breakfast buffet in "The Edge". The staff are friendly, helpful and are quick to offer advice and assistance.
For dinner we have the choice between the 3 restaurants "The Edge", "Firedoor" and the beach bar "Breeze".
For a snack, guests can only go to the beach bar "Breeze". The food here is also good and there is a sufficient selection of drinks. Unfortunately, the service is in great need of improvement! When guests leave the bar, the used dishes are left lying around for hours; they are simply not tidied up. The loungers and daybeds are not tidied either; it sometimes looks like a battlefield... and on top of that there is the lack of motivation. The guest can sit and wait for 30 minutes before being discovered! But if the guest goes to the bar himself and places an order, he is given dirty looks.
During the day we go snorkeling and the children spend the afternoon at the beautiful infinity pool. That's a great way to enjoy the time.
Overall, we are very positively surprised by the resort.

We have recently returned from this beautiful hotel after many months of research to find a resort that fitted our criteria which was ie speed boat transfer ,over water pool villa ,all inclusive with different resturants and amazing food as we are foodies.
We were met off of the speed boat and quickly shown to our villa ,we were slightly disappointed at the outside of the villa looked a little tired but we soon realised that the villa were being renovated on the outside but the inside the villas were amazing and had everything you could possibly need ,we had slippers ,robes, flip flops ,beach bag ,beach towels and all the regular toiletries you expect in 5 star hotel.we also had a bowl of fresh fruit delivered every couple of days.
The edge restaurant served buffet breakfast,a le carte lunch and buffet dinner with live cooking stations and the location was amazing.my husband particularly loved the “crab cakes “ The staff were amazing and would accommodate your every need .particularly Zihan and his friend .
The Fire-door was amazing ,the food was right up there with Michelin star restaurant’s and well worth the extra few dollar supplement if your on all inclusive package.we went 5 times and the location and design of restaurant is fantastic, there is a open area in middle of restaurant we’re you can sea sharks and other beautiful fish swimming by.the staff in here are All amazing we particularly warmed to Budy and Adam.
Breeze is a more casual eating area and the cocktails are second to none and some of the best we have tasted all round the world .thanks to Ruwanka.
Last but not least was our host Eliza she was truly a very kind lady and nothing was too much trouble she went above and beyond to make my husband 60th birthday truley memorable,Thankyou Eliza.
Massage was amazing too at the spa.

Beautiful resort with the best staff, mouthwatering cuisine, and breathtaking views. Everything at this resort is really well-organized so you can unwind and enjoy your vacation, which made my stay incredibly comfortable. We would especially want to thank Nuray, our guide, who was amiable, quick to respond to our inquiries, and provided us with information about events and things to do. We were always taken care of and never felt lost or bewildered. Fantastic trip; I will most certainly return!

Grand Park Kodhipparu left me with a very nice impression. During my years in tourism I visited many hotels, but this one is remembered for its atmosphere and convenience.
The most important thing about this hotel is to choose the right accommodation. We always recommend to our clients beach villas or water villas that look directly to the reef and after personal experience I am convinced that this is really the best choice:
Beach villas are ideal for those who want to be near the lagoon. There's great swimming, soft sand and incredibly beautiful views.
Water villas are a great option for snorkelling fans. By the reef you can swim literally a stone's throw from your villa. I explored this reef myself, and I was thrilled: bright corals, lots of fish, clear water.
I want to mention the transfer separately. In Maldives, it is not always so convenient to get to the hotel: Grand Park Kodhipparu is just 20 minutes by boat from Malé. This is a huge plus, especially for those planning a short trip.
The food here is good. I especially liked the beach club - quality, delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed.
I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a stylish place with a light, youthful atmosphere. Here you can enjoy beach parties with DJs, reboot in a short time and just enjoy your holiday. I'd come back here one more time without a doubt.

Kodhipparu is a nice little island but as we were already 3 times at Maldives, we can compare and can‘t recommend you this hotel for two very simple reasons: poor cleaning service and very little and extremely overpriced food selection. Almost every day,and we stayed 9 nights, was the case:room was not cleaned until 12.00.No dry towels for the beach as well, when we call the explanation was:lack of cleaners.Just unacceptable. The second very bad point is food:we booked only breakfasts as we like to be bit flexible for the dinner and lunch. But as we came in the evening to the buffet restaurant, which is small as well,we payed without drinks 213 usd.The second bar-Breeze is loud and the food is very bad as well. The Firedoor is fine, however to pay 300 usd without drinks just for water, starter and a main course is a nonsense,I think.
