The accommodation at Casa Jaali provides a tranquil escape for our customers. Our rooms, huts and beach house showcase Goan-style architecture, with tiled roofs, traditional chira brick walls, and locally made furniture, while the surrounding gardens and greenery make you feel one with nature. Staying here, you’ll enjoy a carefree, unplugged escape — we provide Wi-Fi in case you need to stay connected and entertained. All of our rooms face the beautiful calm seas of Patnem Bay and offer gorgeous views across to Rajbag. Pass the time idly sitting on your verandah or in your own garden, watching the exquisite butterflies fluttering on the flowers, and the dolphins frolicking in the water. Fall asleep to the peaceful sounds of the waves lapping at the rocks in front of you. For Jaali Kitchen, our brand new restaurant at Casa Jaali we have created a fresh and healthy cafe style menu using the same Middle Eastern and Mediterranean influences of our sister restaurant Jaali cafe: think Jaali in a sandwich! We feature an extensive and diverse breakfast menu which we will happily serve all day to you. Fresh and delicious salads and sandwiches are on our lunch menu and our evening menu celebrates Mexican tacos and margaritas.

Detailed Reviews
I just enjoyed the most perfect , relaxing stay with my husband at the Gorgeous Casa Jaaili in pretty Patnem beach.
The Villas are really lovely , nice and cool, very clean and very stylish .
The decor is in tranquil soft greens and pinks , echoing the Lush Gardens which surround you.
We arrived late afternoon and were warmly greeted with a fresh fruit mocktail which was a nice welcome extra !
We loved the location , 2 mins stroll for Sunset and Sunrise swims , with our own shaded terrace to sit in tranquility and chill .
There was good AC / Ceiling fans and soft comfy bed linen for a great night's sleep .
We had a Delicious dinner in the restaurant , the staff were really sweet and attentive , but we relaxed so much that we were asleep in bed by 9 pm ......... which meant we had no excuse not to get up early , enjoy the good coffee on our terrace and have a lovely morning swim .
The complimentary breakfast was also worth a mention , there were lots of options to choose from ; my homemade granola and huge fruit salad was sooooo good ;and all of the presentation was Magazine worthy !
We will definitely come back , and 100 % recommend it to anyone wanting a genuine Goa feel with added Laid back Luxe .

Had a very relaxing stay at Casa Jali it's a beautiful small cosy property at Patnem and right on the beach (rocky). You can enjoy the music of sea waves and breeze as the rooms are right there on the shore. They have a awesome team who takes care of you and make you feel at home. Overall vere calm and serene stay.
If you are looking for luxury then you may want to look other properties as it does not have their own parking or food spread. But if you are looking for private space then this property is just the right place.

This a place one would want to visit once every year to just do nothing , simply unwind , eat some good food , soak up the sun and the ambience , fall into temporary oblivion hearing the waves crash the rocks every now and then . Wherein life is perched on a de-cluttered mind and reflects one's union with life . The owner Kate and her attention to details speaks volumes of the sweat that has gone into making of this oasis . Sanju the Manager is a star who effortlessly takes care of most of the things around and then there is Monty and Rajat who provide great support to him . Just go and chill . You wont regret . Best/Jaidip

Mixed feelings about this small guest house. Casa Jaali is almost hidden, accessed by a boardwalk from the very northern end of Patnem beach. Previous reviewers raised expectations but some aspects of our stay at Casa Jaali disappointed. Firstly the good. From start to finish the staff at Casa Jaali were exceptionally friendly, polite and professional and cannot be faulted. There's a pretty leafy shaded outdoor restaurant and the complimentary breakfast and other meals we had were delicious. The front desk lady eagerly booked tuktuks for us, accepted our laundry bag and answered all our questions. Top marks. The rooms at Casa Jaali are all in a row, with room 1 being right next to the restaurant, room 2 next to it and so on. All the rooms look out over rocks and sea and the length of Patnem beach and this is a lovely view. My daughter and I stayed in Room 2. On arrival we were impressed. The room is prettily painted in green and pink and has wooden shutters. There's a small verandah with seating, but to be honest the seating isn't wonderfully comfortable. The room consists of a small entrance area off which is the bathroom (up a deep step) and then there's a compact bedroom with a small table and a cane shelving unit to put clothes on. The width of the room is the bed and side tables, so not a lot of space. Pretty dark pink sheets impressed but are at the end of their life (badly stained, although I am sure completely clean). Extremely hard mattress. The small basic bathroom had not one hook or towel rail to hang anything up and the sink has seen better days from years of use. Some hooks in the bedroom would also have been very welcome. We found the room noisy. You can hear the scraping of restaurant chairs, clattering of kitchen dishes and on occasion quite loud chattering from the area behind the room where kitchen staff congregate. So all in all we can't stay our stay here was relaxing. We really did want to like Casa Jaali but our small dark room and lack of tranquility made us ready to leave after. In terms of location, the north end of Patnem beach isn't the prettiest and although it's only a short walk to have a swim or try out some of the nearby restaurants, you have to pick your way through sea debris and some man made litter. I would heartily recommend the restaurant and perhaps other rooms are nicer, but room 2 just didn't tick many boxes for us. The nicer part of Patnem beach is less than 10 minutes walk from Casa Jaali and there are plenty of restaurants offering sunbeds for relaxing on the beach.

We loved our stay at Casa Jaali. The staff was super friendly (particularly Monty, Suraj & Sanju)
They were very helpful and accommodating given we were travelling with our infant. The rooms are very nice and the view is to die for. It is hardly a 2-3 minutes walk to the scenic Patnem beach.
The only downside to this place is that kitchen is only open from 9 am to 9 pm. This means that if you are an early riser or get hungry after a night of partying, you won’t have the option to order from their cafe. Luckily there is a nice Italian restaurant next door called Magic view which has delicious breakfast options & also a variety of pastas and pizzas.

Location is simply outstanding. You can just sit in the cafeteria or in the room's balcony for hours looking over the ocean and Patnem beach. Because of the trees around, the place is quite cool even during late morning hours. As others have also mentioned, the design of each room, cafeteria and the whole place is very carefully curated and the end result is wonderful.
A few minor cons would be room size is a bit on the smaller side, the presence of ants in the room, some dust particles or dry leaves enter the room through slight open holes near the ceiling. But these are really nitpicking and expected in the overall setting of the place and adds charm to the place rather than taking anything away from it.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

My family stayed in the Seaside Cottage for four nights and had a great experience. The staff was responsive and courteous, helped us get easy transport to Palolem beach, gave us tips for the area, and treated our three kids really well. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and clean. You can see the ocean from the front window and hear the waves. It is next to the kitchen and restaurant, so you can also hear some noise from that, but it didn’t bother us or impact our sleep.
The food at the restaurant was also really good. We enjoyed the breakfasts while viewing the ocean, and ended up eating dinner there as well every night, in part because that’s when the monsoon rains moved in. We tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed it all! Our kids found the fish goujans, grilled cheese, and chicken schnitzel particularly appetizing. Highlights for the adults were King fish curry, seafood risotto, mojitos, and margaritas :).
We highly recommend Casa Jaali and would stay there again should we make it back to Goa from the US. A highlight of our trip to India. A special shout out to Arif who went over and above to make sure our kids got what they needed.

With the waves lapping just a few meters from your room you feel completely immersed in the stunning scenery. The attention to detail in the garden, rooms and common areas are second to none. And those cocktails ! Especially the margaritas and taco combo.
This was my second stay and I will definitely return ! It’s truly blissful.

We visited Casa Jaali for lunch during our stay in south Goa in august,23. We had a bit of a tough time locating the entrance of the hotel since a connecting bridge was closed. We accidentally took our cars right till the end and realised we should’ve parked them much earlier (200-300 m) . There is no parking available near the entrance. You can park in front of some houses after asking permission for a small fee. Once we found the entrance we saw that the ambiance is beautiful,it’s right by the sea. The hotel is also pet friendly. The owner is very friendly and helps out a lot. There are a lot of veg options as well and we would recommend the potato wedges , the panini and pasta. The service can be a little slow but then it’s Goa 😀. Special mention of the cheesecake it was delicious. Go there for a leisurely afternoon!

We loved the swanky, laid back vibe. Room 9 was a delight. A veranda to lounge on, undisturbed and listen to the changing tides throughout our stay. We walked barefoot to the beach a mere 2/3 minutes away along the peninsula to swim as the day cooled. We were very comfortable and enjoyed eating dinner at the restaurant with its fusion and Middle Eastern influence. We sampled many dishes; all delicious including the rich seafood risotto. The cake range is a delight when you’ve been travelling for 3 months! It’s a popular haunt for others to while away their days in the café. There was live music on a Thursday and the Sunday brunch option seems popular with outside guests talking about attending. The mood music is low and unobtrusive.
Breakfast was equally tasty and well presented. Service can be laid back. The massage service was excellent; a 10 minute walk but exceptionally good prices and service. Thank you Dhanu! The property is small so it retains an intimacy. It’s leafy green, well tended and a gem to stretch the budget. It’s only 200 rupees in a tuk tuk to Palolem which offers a busier scene. Tuk tuks are 50m from the property. The bay is delightful for swimming, shallow shelving. We would return!
