What my wife and myself liked the most - and which we not have experienced to this degree before - was the exptremely personal and familiar reception. Our hosts even took part in the meals and together wit the other guests this created a most positive and informal atmosphere. We came there cycling with two friends and were drectly met... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of an organised cycling tour with a mid-range price point. The hosts Michelle and Jean-Claude are lovely - very welcoming. The guest house has a farm-house style charm. The rooms were comfortable though a little cramped with furniture. There is also a pool and tranquil garden. The great pleasure is the evening meal.... We were a group of four- two rooms booked whilst visiting Le Saint Sabastien Cabaret, down the road. The Chambre d'hote was a very pleasant surprise. The house and grounds are as interesting as the owners. We opted for an evening meal which contained many vegetables and fruit from the garden- an excellent meal and company and not to mention... you will be impressed by what the owners have achieved in this old Windmill...the main building, the outside buildings, the garden....the many flowers...lots of love all over. We have not had the opportunity to try their cuisine though, great pity.

Since 2003, my husband and I have made it a point to stay with Jean Claude and Michele whenever we are in the Bordeaux area. The beautiful addition to the old home, built by Jean Claude, has five comfortable rooms, full of the regions character. The "table d'hote", or dinner at your hosts table, is incredible. It's such a bargain... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a bike trip. Beautiful addition to an old mill house houses 4 guest rooms, a living room, dining room, and a room with tourist info. Wonderful pool area, very refreshing on a hot day. Beautiful grounds with lovely gardens to explore. The home is beautifully decorated with lots of old artifacts... More

Perfect place to stay if you are in the region. Small (4 rooms), nice pool area and patio, nice couple that runs it (and the lady speaks good English as well), very good food and cosy atmosphere. Thanks for a very nice stay Mikael & Biljana from Sweden that where bicycling through Medoc/Bordeaux..

Beautiful garden - fantastic ecological food! Wine from their own grapes! The hospitality is praiseworthy - this generous couple will make you feel at home as the same time you will feel well taken care of. There is a nice pool and places for relaxation. Very close to vineyards and the most famous estates. You will really love your stay... More

We want to live here! The "mansion" is beautiful and our room was soooo comfortable. We booked dinner with the owners the first night and after having a to-die-for meal we asked them if we could dine in a second night. We slept so well and loved the proximity to the vineyards of Medoc. If you're looking to stay in... More
