It's not the worst place I've ever been to,but the days we spent there were not the most peaceful ones, there was party that almost lasted the whole night, the next morning it was a wedding photo shoot. It was a little too busy and noisy for us. Rooms are clean and the braai and pool was beautiful. Mr Mthembu is the...

Careful when you book via bookings.com as they first had us booked in one chalet for one day and we were supposed to and move out the next day and move into a different chalet after a lot of mails and phone calls got it sorted out.

Hello Donald Thank you for choosing Sodwana Bay Lodge as your family holiday destination. Unfortunately when making a reservation online with bookings.com, a prompt would come up stating the availability of the chalet/room for the duration of your stay. I do agree with you, that one has to be certain when confirming ones reservations, and that the accommodation allocation stay...

Perfect to visit if you love snorkeling;diving;sun sand and sea. Weather was great and the house was very well equipped so we made delicious meals and had an even better stay than we would have had at a hotel

We stayed in one of the houses for a week. The Sodwana Bay Lodge is a great place to stay. It has options of a hotel, time share or a whole house to rent. It has its own restaurant, swimming pool and dive shop. Even WiFi, although not the fastest, but, it does work. We enjoyed our stay and would...

I visited Sodwana Bay with family from overseas for a one-night stay, but the lodge and weather were both so pleasant that we stayed for an extra day, May have stayed longer but had booked elsewhere. Recommended for anyone keen on sea based activities, snorkelling, diving, whale watching - at the right time, fishing trips, walks on the beach, swimming,...

The chalets are awesome with outside shower and braai are which is amazing! The only thing I didn't enjoy so much is wifi which you have to pay for. Other then that our stay was perfect. Restaurant on the premises serve very nice and tasty food. Snorkeling was out of this world experience!

This is my third stay. This time we took the 3 days with 4 dive package. The accommodation was a king sized bedded thatched chalet with fridge and TV complete with outside deck or patio. The package included breakfast and dinner at the onsite restaurant. breakfast choice was limited but covered a full cooked English style breakfast which suited me...

Our stay at the Lodge was very enjoyable. The restaurant serves fantastic food, the beds are comfortable and the gas braai is fantastic. Its just a pitty the the dive centre spoiled the dive trip, especially for my friends who did the course with them. They did not encourage the students and did not even have the course material. I would argue that this is the best place to stay in Sodwana if you are a keen diver and enjoy good service and accommodation as well. Their training facilities are excellent and I can see they take this very seriously. The dive centre is good and well organised and they have good safety standards. My only critique is that...

We always stay in the self catering 8-sleeper houses. This year we stayed in house 23. The house is fully serviced daily by Rejoice, except for Christmas day & New Years Day. (We've been visiting Sodwana for at least once a year the last 10 years). Bedrooms: 4 x bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 2 x main bedrooms overlooking the dam...
