6 of us stayed at this campsite for 4 nights as we were going to the races in Chantilly, we had a Gitotel for 4 and our friends took their camper van. Although very basic accommodation the Gitotel was very comfortable and very clean. the Campsite is a little way out and taxis a little unreliable however the family that... More

We have just had a brilliant weekend at Campix. Everybody was so kind. On Sunday the day of the Arc our taxis did not turn but the owners wife and daughter took us in there cars to Chantilly. That's what I call great great service. The site was brilliant and all the staff we so kind. Jeremy thank you so... More

I love this place! I'm not a frequent camper - only once or twice a year, but this site has everything I need. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal and, although largely basic, all the facilities you could want are here. Plenty for kids to do such as the playground stuff and the pool. No bar but drinks are... More

Stopped here for one night on journey home. We pitched up very close together. Quite expensive for one night stop. The owner was very helpful. No designated pitches a very rural site and open fires allowed which meant it was very smoky. Old facilities but clean. About 3 hours from Calais so ideal for stopping the night before a crossing.

When you only need electricity, this is an awesome place. In nature, beautiful site, kids have a playground all over the place (treeclimbing, hide and seek, rockclimbing, etc). But toilets and showers are not sufficient (clean but old, only 10 each for the entire camping)... So if you are fully independent, the place to go.

This was our first campsite in Europe and it was lovely. Xavier was incredibly helpful, the campsite was well looked after and the pool was a godsend in the heat. Great facilities as well. Getting to Paris by train was very easy

The staff are very helpful, they let us choose which pitch to take as the site was quite quiet. The toilets and facilities are fine. The kids used the pool and they really enjoyed it. It's only a short distance to Chantilly which is well worth a visit. The small town is only a short walk from the campsite and... More

We recently bought a camper van and decided to venture to France for sunny climates. This campsite was initially a stop off for 4 days before we moved on to another campsite nearer Disney as we'd planned a 2 day trip to Disney. To start the staff are great and all of them speak really good English. In fact I... More

Have been here half a dozen times now but this was the first time after a three year break. Absolutely fabulous place. Built in an old quarry so it's all higgledy-piggledy with pitches of varying sizes/shapes etc, some down in the bottom and shady and some up at the top and sunny. It's as far removed from the 'pitches in... More

This is a nice site. We were thinking of touring but decided to stay. Good sized pitches and you can literally set up where you like. No problems with power or water. The site had a nice pool and child play area. There is Wifi available in the bar area, this bar area is also where you order fresh bread... More

“If you want your own shower/ toilet, be sure to book a Gitotel bungalow NOT a bungalow (aka cabin - a bit unclear on website as terms used interchangeably) as you will end up with a very small cabin with no running water/ toilet/ shower and a steep walk down to the nearest facilities. The Gitotel bungalows are nearly double the price but definitely definitely worth it!!!!”
