We had a sneaky little trip to Riebeek Kasteel and spent the night at the Red Tin Roof. What a special place, full of character and a great vibe! We felt right at home! Owners and staff went well out of their way to take care of us. The town is also really full of exciting things to do from... More

Such a beautiful day and night spent at the Red Tin Roof! We had a blast of an afternoon beer tasting at the local brewery and then settled in for the night at the Red Tin Roofs restaurant. The food was spectacular and the ambiance led to a seriously festive evening. We loved everything about this place!

Everyone puts a big effort to make you feel right at home and everything from the food, ambiance and cozy accommodation, makes this place a "I'll be back soon" kinda place !!!

Was a wonderful accomodation, in a very unique, ecclectic hotel. Rooms were very nice and if you are a group, rent the 4 room house. You have your own lounge and fire place to relax, especially if travelling with kids.

We were in town for a wedding and thought that the red Tin Roof sounded fun. And indeed it was. The food is delicious - always a cracking fire and lovely people there. Highly recommend it. We would go back for sure.

Lovely family stay in the guest house, personalized service from staff, clean eclectic simple funky and we'll run. Tree'd outside areas to relax and socialize and cozy bar / lounge fireplace area for the winter. It's very homely and relaxed with multitasking staff and the resident hounds making themselves freely at home. Nice big rooms and bathrooms, the one shower... More

Thank you Lindzi for your positive review. Sorry about the water pressure, it's pretty much a municipal problem and not a lot we can do about it. Please do give us some ideas as to how to make our breakfasts more interesting. I am sure if you had asked us for benedict, calves eye eggs or omelette, our breaky chef... More

On a drive for mother's day, we decided to stop in at Red Tin Roof for a bite to eat. We forgot that it was the Olive festival, and were astounded at the amount of people in Riebeek Kasteel.....until we realized that it was for the festival.... Never the less at the Red Tin Roof we were seated immediately and... More

I recently had my 60th birthday party at the Red Tin Roof. It was fantastic. The food couldn't be better, the vibe super cool and the accommodation just great. Jacques and Sam are fantastic hosts and the staff is friendly, professional and effective! We will have many more parties there! Thank you Red Tin Roof! Fanie Groenewald

Red Tin Roof is a manor house that has been sleeping guests, feeding strangers and quenching thirsts for decades. The new owners gave her a complete facelift and donned her in new colours.
