Red Tin Roof is a manor house that has been sleeping guests, feeding strangers and quenching thirsts for decades. The new owners gave her a complete facelift and donned her in new colours. Known as a bit of a party animal, they enlarged the bar - and added another! They have re-vamped her from head to toe and decorated her with an eclectic mixture of art and collectibles from around the world.

Thanks to Sam and the very friendly, efficient staff at Red Tin Roof. We had such a fun weekend away with our kids. Its within walking distance to the town of Riebeek Kasteel. Loved the colourful, interesting decor and settings in the guest rooms and the restaurant. Delicious food for dinner and super yummy breakfast! Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Super lovely stay. Really had a fantastic 1-night stay. Made a lovely fire, read and drank some wine during the cold rainy night I was there. Very relaxing stay I had. Sam was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

We were only able to stay here for a one-night stay this year (we have stayed for longer in previous years) and it never disappoints. Sam has been fighting to regain her licence for this lovely place since towards the end of last year, so there was no restaurant for us to experience this year but we loved wandering around Riebeek Kasteel and then spending the night in one of the four guest rooms at the Red Tin Roof. Towards the back of the property is a self-contained four bedroom building. All the rooms are comfortable with en-suites and there is a central lounge area where you can make coffee/tea and there is a fridge for keeping drinks cool Breakfast in the mornings is served in the courtyard garden and is absolutely delicious. Load-shedding was going on during breakfast so there was no electricity - how on earth Sam managed to provide such a delicious feast was quite remarkable! Sam - thank you so much for a lovely overnight stay and congratulations on getting your licence back. We hope you enjoy many lively nights in the future and can't wait to come back and see you again next year xxx
