We had a wonderful time exploring the Dordogne region, one of France's better kept secrets. We have talked to so many people who are world travelers who have not yet visited there. We loved every castle, every river scene, every hillside village. The headquarters for our visit was La Borie des Combes and we would highly recommend it. The location...

We so enjoyed our time at La Borie Des Combes!! The accommodations are so nice, warm and inviting! Paul and Jeri are perfect hosts! Try and give yourself at least a week, because there are so many day excursions --castles, River boat rides, archaeological sites and other unusual points of interests that can only be seen here!!

We spent the most marvelous week at La Borie des Combes thanks to Paul and Jeri, our delightful hosts. What a wonderful mix of French charm and all the modern comforts, all in a historic farmhouse. Besides the charming interior, we loved dining and resting in the beautiful garden. The location is excellent - many towns and restaurants are all...

We travel to France quite regularly and are happiest when we can rent a house and settle in. We were 2 couples staying for 2 weeks, and la Borie des Combes met our needs beautifully. The house is lovely and very well appointed (right down to the crisp, ironed bedding, 2 en-suite baths and very comfortable beds), and our hosts...

...These are the sentiments felt throughout our stay at La Borie des Combes...From the moment we arrived (with mother-in-law in tow), our hosts Paul and Jeri showed their warmth by inviting us to join them with their friends, at the night food market at St. Cyprien.. The Maison was perfect for our needs..we had 2 bedroom ensuites, separated by a...

Let me start by saying that Paul and Jeri's house is a very beautiful place. The old stone house, the garden, the fantastic decorated rooms. A great setting for a relaxing holiday. What took us by surprise, was all the exiting things to see in the surrounding areas. Old castles, even older cave settlements, romantic villages with nice restaurants and...

La Borie des Combes - a little treasure not to be missed Don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy the charm and warm hospitality of La Borie des Combes. As soon as you drive up to the front gate and enter the garden you know you are someplace special. The owners are gracious hosts, who sincerely care about making their guests...

While in total agreement with the previous reviewer regarding La Borie's exceptional qualities, and its owners' hospitality and genuine warmth, I must go one step further and state that in the past 30 years of travel to Europe, staying in various chateau hotels in France, farmhouses/wineries in Italy, apartments/hotels in big cities, paradores in Spain, castles in Germany, and quaint...

We traveled to France several times before, but never enjoyed our experience as we did at La Borie des Combes. It is a wonderfully restored and beautifully decorated farmhouse that has an amazing history dating back to medieval times when the Earl of Sarlat owned it. Paul and Jeri are so much more to their guests than landlords. They are...

We stayed in the Chambre Gold which was a bedroom with a sitting and dining area, along with a microwave and fridge. The bedroom had an ensuite bathroom, and the courtyard was open to us should we wish to sit and enjoy the sun. Located in a 13Century farmhouse it had masses of charm and our hosts Jeri and Paul Holland...

“There are 3 options to choose from: the home which accommodates easily 2 couples or a family with 2 bed, and 2 full baths, kitchen and living room. Chambra Gold is a cozy room for one couple and there is another unit that even has a small kitchen. All separate from each other.”
