My review is about what we booked as an hotel and turned out to be a "chambres d'hotes" kind of place called "le Vieux bistrot" which is part of "les temps des Secretes".Rooms are nice and new, not particularly clean but what is a real inconvenience is mainly the son of the owners, he has clearly a problem, he is... The room was beautiful and the bathroom quite spacious and luxurious. The pool at their sister property a half-mile down the road was also quite marvelous, with a beautiful view. At the restaurant, the food tasted decent but was not up to French standards for the pricing and popularity of this place. The dinner service was also inadequate to meet... More

This is our second trip to this hotel. It is very comfortable and quiet. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the place is spotless. It is located in a VERY quiet little village full of charm. Dinner in hotel's terrace was excellent and relatively good value. Service at breakfast was a little haphazard but the food was good.

I've never reviewed a hotel before because most suck and are way too expensive. This place is incredible! Great value, comfortable beds and excellent service! Very new and up to date. Great ambiance. Nice restaurant as well.

I did not stay at the hotel, but I can say that the small restaurant is really nice, located right in the heart of Provence. Clean, experienced staff and fresh typical food with generous servings (with an eclectic touch) Good value for money. Remember to ask the exterior round table

We enjoyed a number of restaurants about the area surrounding Cabrieres. This was the best food and wine we had on our trip. It's small, but the wait staff is great and the wine list is plentiful. We ate here twice and tried Bruchetta, Foie Gras, asparagus and Guinea hen as entrees and the Bar, Sole, red mullet risotto and... More

located in a small street of a mediaval village ( the street will take you to the castle 300 meters away) this very small hotel offers large rooms with exquisite decoration . The restaurant is a must as the cuisine is there a combination of tradition and innovation . A unique place of its kind

Le Vieux Bistrot is a real find in a sleepy French village. We stayed in room 6 on the second floor which is huge with a lovely private terrace overlooking the rooftops and the surrounding countryside. The hotel also has a wonderful restaurant downstairs which in such a small sleepy village is perfect; the wine list is extensive, there are... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were lovely especially Vincent - who runs the place. The room was nicely decorated with lots of space. The food at the restaurant is very good and there is an extensive wine list. The village is sleepy with nowhere else to go nearby although the boulangerie is good and... More
