What an amazing place. The staff are all fantastic and so welcoming. Food just perfect. Beautiful beer garden overlooking the river. Room 5 compact but cosy and overlooks the river. Coffee and ice cream served in the garden. Children's play park across the road and 2 resident donkeys in a field ajacent to the car park. Looking forward to our... More

Visited whilst staying nearby at Sleningford Watermill as it was a short walk away along the riverside. Friendly staff and bustling on a Friday night. We chose to sit in the beer garden that goes down to the edge of the river and admire the view. It is a dog-friendly pub though so we could've opted to sit inside with... More

The pub was very clean, service was a little rushed at the start, waitress seemed stressed. This is our third visit to this pub. The food was as good as always but seemed the portion size has been reduced. We couldn't fault the taste or how the food was presented. Good wide choice of food on menu and specials board.

A very nice pub. The food is excellent. I've had the Homemade Pie with Chunky Chips and Fresh Veg. Delicious! The garden is fantastic on a summer day were you can enjoy an icecream and have a nice view over the river.

Exceptional food, i had the pulled pork sandwich which was gorgeous and definitely done to a home made recipe. Came with proper twice cooked hand cut chips, just the job. Won Yorkshire Pub of the Year 2016 apparently - I can see why, lovely spot. Will return.

We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The garden by the river is such a great place to have a drink, eat and relax. We were lucky in some respects as it was a stunningly sunny weekend and we therefore were able to sit out all evening on both evenings. But the inside also looks cosy and welcoming and... More

On a busy day prompt and comfortable service, great food and a beautiful view as standard. The fish and chips were amazing and steak and ale pie went down well too. The selection of beers including the specially brewed Turner Pallette for the Turner on the Ure festival was broad. Also a good selection of premium lagers and ciders to... More

I love coming here, the food is beautiful and the setting is perfect. I always get the pie and it is always cooked to perfection and you get a nice size portion. The pub is particularly nice to visit on a nice day as it is on a riverside location so you can drink sat in the garden at the... More

The Bull Inn is a typical British Inn. The rooms were nice, cosy and clean. The full english breakfast was amazing. There is free wifi available in the rooms. Do not forget to drink something in its wonderful garden. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Even though is near to the road, there was no noise during the night.... More
