Lovely hotel quite close to the airport but still secluded and quiet. Excellent restaurant and bar area and delightful helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast. Our villa was beautiful, the whole place is a bit Gaudi esque in design, unusual art on the walls and tiling on the walls and floors. Comfortable beds and facilities. Went on the really interesting and informative...

Stayed at Finca Rosa Blanca for just one night after 4 nights at Arenas Del Mar in Manuel Antonio. Beautiful property! Loved the quirky architecture and interior decor. The restaurant has a beautiful night view of San Jose. The food and service was excellent. We did a coffee plantation tour which was very informative and interesting. The tour took us...

Dear hiworld123; We are so happy to hear about your stay and your satisfaction with the restaurant and the coffee tour. Our guide's name is Ulises Zúñiga and he is indeed an encyclopedia of coffee. I hope you can come back soon and try some other guided tours, volcano visits, and a trip to the central markets. See you next...

Upon arrival, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were quaint and clean. The food was ok but unfortunately we ate some undercooked meat and all got sick for two days. The facilities are in the city and gated but for a reason- San Jose is dirty and impoverished. The staff set up excursions and added fees that...

Dear Jeff W; I am so sorry to hear your visit was less than ideal and that you experienced such difficulty while here. Also, we are very dismayed that you got ill and I hope that you recovered quickly. I honestly doubt the cause was "undercooked meat" as we are intensely vigilant about all of the food we buy or...

Comfortable suite in lovely surroundings. Recommend the coffee tour and tasting - very informative. Food of a very high standard and well presented. Couteous and amenable staff. This was our introduction to Costa Rica and we weren't disappointed .

My parents and I visited Finca Rosa Blanca for a three-night stay in July 2016. The first thing we noticed was how beautiful the hotel was as a whole...the grounds, the environment, and especially the rooms themselves. The restaurant was wonderful, better than most of the food we found elsewhere in Costa Rica, with a scenic overlook of the surrounding...

Visited a few years ago. After spending 3 nights in hot/humid as can be, Lapa Rios in the Osa Peninsula, this was heaven. Amazing, night time, city view from the restaurant which offers tasty food. Noting out of this world. Good service. This hotel offers great walking grounds, breeze from the valley. A rustic and homey feeling awaits.

The amazing staff makes one feel immediately welcome. There are smiles and information to be had all around. Such a beautiful and serene escape from the hustle & bustle. The lush landscape proves to be most rewarding for the soul. All of those Instagram posts about connecting w/nature? They are right!!!! 😂 what's better, is that you don't have to...

My husband and I spent the first days of our honeymoon at Finca Rosa Blanca. The room, we stayed in the Rosa Blanca suite, was truly exceptional. It had a gorgeous lower level with a sitting area and a giant tub in the bathroom. The second floor was even more spectacular with a beautiful canopy bed surrounded by a curved...

Stayed here as first step on a tour of central highlands. Welcome from Pablo was warm and professional and he did everything possible to help during our stay. Rest of the staff were equally friendly and polite, especially in the excellent restaurant with its great vows out towards Heredia. The Coffee Plantation walking tour with Ulysee was another highlight. If...

I get the sense that because of its proximity to the airport, most people check in at FRB the night they arrive or the night they leave. We didn't and stayed five nights there and loved it.
