This was a family trip to see the Italy of our grandparents. We wanted to walk where they walked and instead we found the family home and wonderful people who made our stay so personal and beautiful. The room was lovely, the view out the door to the cascades of flowers attended daily by Mrs. Massitti, the bounty of the... More

We stayed one week in the "sole" appartment and we enjoyed every minute. The appartment is nice and big, has a tiny but nice private balcony, and is excellent value for money. Breakfast and dinner is wonderfull, Ombretta is the pefect host. If you are looking for a 100% italian atmosphere, a medieval village, solitude and silence, and the nature... More

My wife and I just returned from a 4-day stay at Arcera. Having to leave was a real pity! For us this trip was meant to be a sort of honeymoon and I can honestly tell that the Massitti family couldn't make it any more unforgettable. Let's summarise: I phoned about a month earlier to book a double room in... More

One can not ask for more! Location - excellent, Hospitality - best, To-do's - whether you like hiking, trekking, relaxing, Italian history or opera in a traditional theater in Ascoli Piceno or San Benedetto. A bit more than 2 hours from Rome, from Assisi, and many more tourist attractions, all make it also a great location for star travles. Did... More

Mama Ritas food, enjoyed at a cozy balcony overlooking the valley, must be one of the most special Italian dinners ever to be served. Close to the Piano Grande the waterfall down by the mill is a nice place to cool down after a days hike.

Agritismo Arcera presents all that you can ask for in a small hotel with a romantic setting. We chose it because it was recommended to us by others, and beacause it was an ideal jumping off point for sights off-the-beaten-track for Americans looking to explore Le Marche. Positioned well above a good roadway just west of the ultimate of civilized... More

wonderful welcome - a little oasis near the mountains. Ombretta was a considerate and fun hostess, full of great ideas on what to do, but not at all pushy. The food was excellent and varied. A fantastic break.

The road is narrow and windy, so Ombretta came to get us the first time up. She is a fun person and seems to enjoy helping guests plan their days in the area. She took us for a tour of the old grain mill. And even when I had a fender-bender with the car; she and her father came quickly... More

My husband and I rented Arcera's apartment for 10 days in July 2008 while visiting family in nearby Ascoli Piceno. What an incredible stay! On our first night, we were treated to an exquisite meal prepared and served by the family. We dined on a private balcony at evening overlooking the valley below. It was quite possibly the most memorable... More
