I was shocked at low the fee was for this quality of a place. The area was beautiful with views, flowers, and colorful birds. The pool was refreshing and there even were good quality mugs and dishes in the outdoor kitchen. The owner was friendly and interesting. She let me take her dog on a walk to a nearby gorgeous... The Mango Tree Spa was an excellent place for bird watching. Because it is on a hill, the tops of the canopy can be seen from the balcony. We saw toucans, white fronted parrots, red legged honeycreepers, Great Kiskamee (nesting by the pool), gray capped flycatcher, Townsend and yellow warblers, variable seedeaters, ani, oropendola, turkey vulture, and many others that... My wife dreamed of a trip to Costa Rica for the past 10 years. The more she heard about it the more excited she was to go. This year her dream became a reality. Our only regret was, why did we wait so long to come to this piece of paradise. Our drive from San Jose was bit hectic plus... More

I was so fortunate to stay at the Mango Tree for about 7 weeks in Nov/Dec, 2013. Nestled in the hills, with a view of the Pacific, it was a chance for me to relax after a couple years working overseas from the USA. The hospitality from Rosemary was exceptional, always willing and able to assist with tour arrangements, restaurant... More

My family just returned from four nights at The Mango Tree Spa. The name really should be The Mango Tree Villas, as our "room" was actually a small apartment, with a full kitchen and living room and a separate bedroom and bathroom. Rosemary is a wonderful host, who keeps the property in perfect condition. The pool is refreshing and absolutely... More

Mango Tree was perfect! Nice spacious clean rooms with kitchens, refreshing pool and beautiful views. Coronado is a great central location to explore southern Costa Rica. Mango tree is ideal for families or just couples, plenty of room and very relaxing. The pool was wonderful to swim in after a long day of exploring!!

This place is beautiful and set in the tree tops of the Costa Rican jungle. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the atmosphere will get you relaxed in no time. Rosemary and Jaimerson are so knowledgeable about what to do and what to see you could show up with no plans and have a vacation second to none.... More
