We visited Puerto Rico during off season and came to Casa Grande for a night of R&R after seeing all the great reviews. We were not blown away. The price was the same as other places we'd stayed in Puerto Rico but with far fewer amenities - no A/C, very barebones accommodation, no breakfast included. I was looking forward to... More

Thank you for your comments. We're disappointed that Casa Grande did not meet your expectations. Granted, the accommodations are somewhat spartan but all necessaries are provided. The ceiling fan above the beds satisfies most folks needs for ventilation. We do offer a tasty and hearty breakfast from our menu during morning hours from 8 to 10:30 daily. We're glad you... More

OMG! What a place for relaxation!!! It was worth every penny. Starting with the wonderful mountains and river views and later arriving to the cabins, it has been the best for me so far this year. The complete staff makes it even better. Service is good, but food...is a delicacy ever tasted. I believe the names of the cooks are... More

This is my 4th visit, and each time I go I remember how much I love being in the mountains in PR. This is a very laid back place. The pool is very nice and there is a bit of hiking. Its a great place to come to do some yoga, to meditate and to unplug. My husband wanted internet... More

My Family and I had the privilege of staying at Casa Grande last February. The property is equipped with a Restaurant that serves delicious food, so that was a bonus right there. There is a lovely quiet and underused pool that our family had to ourselves for two days, which served as a resting, relaxation stop during our travels around... More

Very unique place! Roomy bedrooms with porches and hammocks. We had cabin 8 which had great views of the mountains and the entire property. The rooms are simple - just a bed, tables and a bathroom. No AC, but don't really need it here. The property is very beautifully maintained with many interesting horticultural plantings which the owner has painstakingly... More

We brought our 6 year old as we were traveling around PR during Christmas and New Years. He was bored but the food was good at dinner and breakfast. You will get lost if you don't print the directions out as its in the middle of nowhere and you go into no service zones with your phone or GPS system.... More

Everything is perfect. Neat and tidy. Very nice staff. Make sure to print your way here because cellphone may loose connection. Loved my stay. If you're looking for a completely quiet place this is it. Everything around is green. 👌👍. Food and drinks are excellent. Nature at it's fullest!! It's like traveling back in time in Puerto Rico. No tv.... More

Visited Casa Grande for my dad's 82nd birthday and had a great time once again. We had a nice room #9 orchard all the way in the back. We like the No WiFi or No, TV, Radio rule it's peaceful and relaxing there. The plants and flower is like a botanical garden in its raw nature. Pool has a fantastic... More

Lovely mountain retreat setting. The bilingual staff was very attentive and the food was quite delicious. The room was also very nice, rustic or cabin-like. The beds were also comfortable and the pool was amazing. I have one suggestion- for guests staying overnight, have complimentary coffee and/or tea. There were few amenities that justified the high cost.

We're delighted you enjoyed the setting, the staff and the food, the beds and the pool. We'll take your suggestion under advisement. Granted, there are few amenities at Casa Grande. The focus here is on nature, peace and quiet. More
