Our family of 6 stayed very comfortably in Saule for 4 nights. We are an American family living in Paris. We needed an escape for Toussaint. Somewhere where we could rest and connect and continue to experience the wonders of France. Chez Ania proved to be the perfect spot to do so. Having done many of the chateaux in the... More

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Les Limornieres. Our priority was finding somewhere that could accommodate our 3 and 1 year old. And this was perfect! We stayed 4 nights in the Chene cottage, but wished we had at least an extra night. With a lovely outdoor play area, vegie garden, endless toys and even chickens, my... More

We stayed in a very sweet building that had been beautifully and very thoughtfully restored. The kitchen facilities were great and we really appreciated having access to a dishwasher and a BBQ! Our hosts were very thoughtful and had lots of small touches that made our stay comfortable and relaxed, they had even thought of putting a trolley token on... More

We stayed in Chene cottage at les Limornieres over our wedding anniversary this June/July. We had a really lovely time, spending a lot of our holiday sitting in the shade in the gardens, reading, surrounded by wisteria and honeysuckle. It was really quiet and peaceful, a real escape from the world. There was a bit of a heatwave that week,... More

We stayed at Les Limornières for 2 weeks at the end of May with our 2 year old son and it was utter bliss. He was entertained by the cats and large collection of outdoor toys that Alex and Nicole provided in their extensive gardens while we relaxed outside with a glass of wine. Everything that we could possibly need... More

Travelled with my husband and 18 month old baby girl. Stayed in Chene cottage and it was fabulous. Everything we needed for the baby was there down to the bibs! Toys galore for her to play with and she was never bored. Also extensive garden toys and swings, trampolines and slides. Alex and Nicole supplied a proper wooden cot which... More

Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you and your family back in June 2016! The nearest village is le Grand-Pressigny under 3km away via a quiet farm lane. In the village there is a museum of the prehistoric era housed in a chateau whose buildings span over 1000's years. There is a tourist office which... More

We have just returned from a stay over Easter at the Chene cottage with our 3 year old son. The accommodation is in a beautiful, tranquil setting in the middle of the countryside, with a small town close by. The cottage itself was perfect for the 3 of us, with everything we needed and more! Nicole and Alex had made... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. Spring in the Loire Valley is a lovely time to visit with the countryside still lush and green, bulbs, blossom and wisteria in bloom everywhere you go. Whether it is for a stroll around the garden or around chateaux and local historic towns & villages the weather is generally mild... More

We stayed with Nicole and Alex last August with our 2 children and my sister, her husband and family in the adjacent property. The venue is very beautiful, the accommodation was very clean and it is a wonderful countryside setting to relax and for the children to play in. We enjoyed eating together in the outdoor barn and Nicole's cooking... More

We had a lovely stay at Les Limorniers in September, and my husband is still talking about how wonderful the garden was for our 18 month old son. He (the son!) loved the chickens, the swing and the rocking horse. Alex and Nicole were very helpful and we certainly had lots of questions for them. They even babysat two nights... More
