We; me, my husband and our 6-year-old daughter, stayed in Saule gite for 7 nights in July. We arrived on a Sunday evening and really appreciated the welcome pack of food left in the fridge for us; cafetiere coffee, proper milk (not UHT!) eggs from the resident chickens, peaches, tomatoes, wine. The garden is very large and beautiful; chickens, herbs,... More

Just got back from a weeks stay in Saule Cottage. Can't fault our stay, beautiful location and lovely cottage to stay in. Really really well equipped with loads of toys, books and DVDs for our kids aged 2 and 9 months. William and Niamh loved the gardens with the trampoline and swings, the chickens were a personal favorite for William.... More

We have just returned from a wonderful July week staying in 'Chene' at Les Limornieres. The cottage was absolutely delightful - stylish, impeccably clean and fantastically well equipped with everything we could have wished for for us and our toddler. This included heaps of toys, books, music, DVDs, children's eating utensils, nappy changing equipment.. the fantastic hosts Nicole and Alex... More

We stayed in Noix cottage for 7 days. Wonderfully equipped, more toys than our 2 year old could as for! Very comfortable cottage. The stairs are steep and narrow not too bad. Great garden for relaxing in while the little ones play. Use of the bikes was brilliant! Fantastic hosts. Great area with plenty to do. Would definitely go back!... More

This was our second visit with our 2.5 year old daughter and we loved every minute. Nicole and Alex are a fountain of knowledge having lived there over 10 years and there is plenty to keep the kids busy. From feeding the chickens, bouncing on the trampolines, playing on the play equipment to relaxing in the gite with the age... More

We are an American family living in Amsterdam who stayed in Saule cottage for the first week of May, and we had a truly magical visit (we were five people in total including our two daughter ages 8 and 5 and my father). I can't recommend Chez Ania enough, and echo the comments of so many of the reviewers. Alex... More

Our family of 6 stayed very comfortably in Saule for 4 nights. We are an American family living in Paris. We needed an escape for Toussaint. Somewhere where we could rest and connect and continue to experience the wonders of France. Chez Ania proved to be the perfect spot to do so. Having done many of the chateaux in the... More

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Les Limornieres. Our priority was finding somewhere that could accommodate our 3 and 1 year old. And this was perfect! We stayed 4 nights in the Chene cottage, but wished we had at least an extra night. With a lovely outdoor play area, vegie garden, endless toys and even chickens, my... More

We stayed in a very sweet building that had been beautifully and very thoughtfully restored. The kitchen facilities were great and we really appreciated having access to a dishwasher and a BBQ! Our hosts were very thoughtful and had lots of small touches that made our stay comfortable and relaxed, they had even thought of putting a trolley token on... More

We stayed in Chene cottage at les Limornieres over our wedding anniversary this June/July. We had a really lovely time, spending a lot of our holiday sitting in the shade in the gardens, reading, surrounded by wisteria and honeysuckle. It was really quiet and peaceful, a real escape from the world. There was a bit of a heatwave that week,... More
