Recently returned from a week at Argiano staying in the detached cottage - Olivo. Hard to think of a better place and setting to stay in and explore this area of the Chianti region. Valeria who manages the apartments is extremely helpful and has some invaluable recommendations - particularly notable was a restaurant in nearby Montaperti - Le Pietre Vive....

We stayed here with another couple in July 2012. It was a really nice location with lovely views and a nice large swimming pool. Valeria, our host made breakfast every morning, freshly bought or cooked, breads, rolls, eggs, ham, yoghurt, fruit, cakes etc. For about a fiver, eat as much as you like. We stayed for 5 nights. The room was perfect with a small kitchen and had a fully stocked reasonably priced wine bar. From the moment we arrive until we departed our host Valeria was most spectacular. She helped us with everything we needed including a Dr. For me as I had developed a UTI. We enjoyed wine at sunset on...

Great place! We spent a week there in July '12. The apartment (Mimosa) was lovely, the view from the swimming pool amazing and the lady working there (Sig.a Valeria) very friendly and prepared (she gave us very smart recommendations about local restaurants and vineyards). We would love to go back! CP

We stayed here in July 2011 with my son and daughter in law in the first floor Panorama apartment with stunning views across the valley. There is a small balcony as an outside space just big enough for 4 people to sit/dine. The apartment inside is well equipped and spacious with 2 comfortable bedrooms and en suites. The swimming pool...

We recently stayed at Argiano, booked through Tuscany Now, which I highly recommend as a booking site. The location is perfect close enough to Sienna yet nicely located in the Tuscan countryside, perched up on a hill with fabulous views. The Villa Manager, Valeria, was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, dining at the villa and just about any query we...

Almost a month later I am still thriving on flashbacks from my days at Argiano. The place was beyond our expectations - so beautifully appointed, private and quiet, with lovely views all around. Valeria and the Concis made my daughter and I feel so at home, I didn't want to leave! Sylvia Richards, Houston, Texas, USA

Argiano never ceases to fail. We returned to usual Tuscan spot to escape the Jubilee madness. Well what can I say, we come here every year for a holiday and I had to drop a line to say how it just got better! Argiano now provide a breakfast service, which was delicious and extremely good value. It was great to...
