What better place to stay while exploring the history of Normandy? This old farm on the grounds of a small chateaux is hosted by a friendly knowledgeable family, Jean-Claude is a loud and proud norman while his wife Kareen has an outsider's appreciation for the area. The location is just perfect. The farm is mid way between Bayeaux and the...

My husband and I recently stayed with Jean Claude and Kareen at this lovely B n B just outside Bayeux. It is a quaint equestrian farm which used to be part of the neighbouring castle. The barn has been converted to rooms which are colourful, roomy and comfortable. Jean Claude and Kareen are extremely helpful and friendly. They obviously enjoy...

We stayed here for 3 nights as a base for visiting the Normand beaches. To be honest we couldn't have selected a better spot. It is very close to many of the historic sites. The hosts were very warm and accommodating and made it a unique experience. Jean Claude, in particular, has a great knowledge of WW2 history and even though...

Our family of four enjoyed a very pleasant six-day stay at La Petite Noe, run by the boisterous Jean Claude (WWII expert and jokester extraordinaire) and his lovely wife Karine. We had the two-bedroom apartment located on top of a flight of stone steps that have probably seen better days, but those better days would have been in the 1700s,...

We loved visiting Normandy and staying here made it that much more enjoyable. Karin and Jean Claude were lovely and helpful. The property sits on a horse farm with lots of animals and amazing countryside. But you are in close proximity to the sea and sites. The room was large and we had plenty of space for our family of...

We arrived at this place very late and the owner stayed up to greet us. Thank you! We had two lovely rooms where we slept very well and the complimentary continental breakfast provided was delicious. We had an unexpected bonus which you will find out if you visit this place. N'est pas Jean-Claude? Our host even washed down our car...

Myself, my husband and our adult daughter were very warmly welcomed by Karin and Jean Claude a soon as we drove into the yard. We were shown where to find breakfast, the following morning, and then to our room, in a very attractive barn conversion. The situation of the farm is idyllic - very peaceful. We love 'rural' - if...

Quiet and interesting countryside location. The farm has a lot of horses and ponies. Most welcoming and helpful, sincere owners Carine and Jean Claude. This is precisely what we expected to find in the countryside. Comfortable room. Available to use a kettle and a microwave in the lounge. Perfect fresh breakfast.

Charming B&B with very entertaining owners. Owners very friendly and welcoming. accommodations very spacious with plenty of room for a family of 10. Plenty of onsite parking. Breakfast was small but adequate. Very close to Omaha Beach and other Normandy D-Day sites. We really enjoyed our stay and would return! **Tip: Only accepts payment in cash.
