Breathtaking view. Cozy atmosphere. At night we were covered by a billion stars and the milky way while it felt like we were expanded above air, hovering over the clouds. Neat and clean - literally living on the edge. Could not get enough of the view. It's beautiful when its misty and inspiring when it's clear. This is the place...

I go to The Edge regularly and just LOVE IT! The location, the people, the accommodation, the food . . . the WHOLE experience is just wonderful!! I would highly recommend this venue for ALL kinds of trips, whether solo or romantic, private or professional. It is flexible enough for all kinds of trips.

We had lunch here and the food was great. After lunch we visited the labyrinth which my kids (ages 7 and 9) had a lot of fun running through. It's in a really special place with beautiful views. There are walks next to The Edge but we didn't go on them as it was very hot.

This was my first stay at the edge and my husbands third stay .. we spent three nights in the bed and breakfast room we found it to be simple yet comfortable . The restaurant and bar including all the staff to be excellent - the waiters waitresses chefs etc were brilliant!!! My only gripe would be that there should...

We were qiute simply blown away by our stay at The Edge. The accommodation, was first class. The Unit we stayed in, "By the way". Was a large 2 bedroom unit with a large lounge and immaculate kitchen. A fireplace and braai outside completed the wonderful place. The views and walks from there were wonderful. We had a beautiful dinner...

Service was excellent at check in. The self catering apartment, Sugarbird, we booked was highly disappointing though. The unit was extremely musty smelling and overall extremely "rustic" in a NOT so great sense. Didn't try the restaurant. The labyrinth is what made this place special for me. However, the labyrinth may be accessed even if staying at other locations in...

With views on your door step, staying at the cliff side was amazing and we're coming back! The restaurant at the edge was also really good, the duck on the current menu was delicious! We walked the labyrinth and found a geocache as well as did a hike. We have to come back to explore the rest of the town)

Visited the Edge whilst staying st Hogsback. Well worth the scary road journey-puts the term potholes into context! You don't need a 4x4 but careful driving. Walk out to the labyrinth and to the Edge viewpoint for an amazing view over the valley and the road you will have driven up to Hogsback. Super luxury holiday rental cottages on site-beautiful...

A beautiful setting in the Amathole Moutains. Little peace of heaven on the earth. Great place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. (Come back to that). Hogsback town is very quaint and small. Main attraction is the hiking. And the beautiful views. We had to split our accomodation between Over the Edge and Daedelus shelter. As the accomdation was...

We had the coconut fish and lamb rack - the food was truly excellent, and the portions generous. The setting is beautiful, with amazing views and a cosy fireplace for colder nights. The service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.
