Nothing too fancy but fits the little cozy town Hogsback, warm self catering rooms with open fire place fits the theme for cold winter nights. Enjoyed our stay and felt well rested and looked after. Thanks

We had an amazing time at The King's Lodge - everyone was extremely friendly and always willing to help whenever we needed it. The rooms were equipped with heaters and electric blankets, there was also a fire place in the living room with the wood being refilled every day, which was definitely needed when we stayed there since the temperature... The plan was to have a quite weekend away from the hassle and bustle of the city and indeed we had. The hotel was beautiful and had everything we needed. The fresh beautiful mountain were all we needed. The locals are very friendly and there is a lot of activities that one can do.. A weekend is too short to... More

I enjoyed a wonderful stay in one of the self catering apartments at Kings Lodge. This is an old-world three-star hotel which, while admittedly having aged, is nevertheless very comfortable and well worth visiting. Belinda, the manageress, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. When planning an early start, they offered me a breakfast-box to take with me and this... More

Staff at Kings Hotel were friendly and informative. They referred us to a number of "spots" to see, including the Labyrinth, the Arboretum and the Eco-Shrine which was erected and explaned to us by the eco-artist who created in, Diana Graham.

We had a very pleasant stay. Staff were super and the evenings were really nice with fires going in the fireplaces to give it a really cosy atmosphere. Our room were small but yet very comfortable. Beds and bedding were super!! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful setting. Central location in Hogsback. We enjoy walking from Kingslodge to most of the restaurants and other attractions in Hogsback. Value for money in the self catering cozy cottages. Dated interior but everything is still in good working order.
