Had a wonderful autumn honeymoon in this cosy, friendly hotel. Staff were lovely, nothing was a problem, food was superb and our room was stunning, very special. This is a wonderful area of Scotland to visit. Highly recommended!

Stopped at this hotel with a friend enroute to Ireland to collect a WW2 Willis jeep. The hotel is brilliant, old but clean and the staff are out of this world. Huge car park for all size vehicles....a bonus. After checking in we made our way to the bar where al the staff were having a quiet break. Never laughed... More

We drove from 2am from S Ireland to catch the ferry, so were very tired on arrival. Although we booked it weeks earlier, we arrived at a locked, empty hotel which had a note on the door saying there was no one there from 2pm till 6 pm...."call this number and I will come and let you in" I did... From pulling up on the driveway right through to leaving the hotel the next morning this was an excellent experience. The food was very good, the breakfast was superb. The owners made us feel very very welcome and the staff were so friendly. I look forward to going again.

We stopped for one night at this lovely hotel, owners and staff are great and make you very welcome, rooms are very small but have all you need for a night or two, bar is comfortable and quaint but stick can's or bottles the beer on tap can be strange.

We recently stayed here for one night whilst travelling in Scotland. The property is lovely, the food was nice and plentiful. We stayed in the wee room which was comfortable and clean. There were locals who came to eat in the restaurant and if the locals like it, it says a lot for the place. The price was very reasonable... More

The owners were warm and welcoming. The bedroom was small, relatively basic, but clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel which was very tasty, reasonably priced and the chef was a charming young lady. The portions are big,so beware! The wine list was fine ,and prices reasonable. We had a very pleasant freshly cooked breakfast in the...
