A warm friendly welcome awaited us when we arrived at the resort, we were shown to our villa which was immaculate and beautifully presented, in the kitchen a fantastic selection of complementary fruit, cereals, milk bread & both soft & alcoholic drinks all awaited us. (A lovely touch). The villa was outstanding & equipped with everything you needed for a perfect weeks stay, the cleaners & gardeners would visit everyday & refresh our pool towels. I cannot recommend the villas highly enough! Fantastic & thank you!

What an amazing villa complex this is even though it’s set in the heart of tsilivi with what is a couple of busy roads it’s a very tranquil place to be. Angela and her team are brilliant very attentive and can’t do enough for you. The cleaners come round twice a day 1st to drop the pool towels off and clean the pool/outside areas then later in the day to change towels and clean the whole villa. The pool is checked and cleaned every day and the gardens taken care of. On arrival we were shown around the villa by Angela she explained were everything was the welcome basket is great fresh fruit milk and cereals and bread plus 6 cans of sprite 6 cans of Amstel and 6 cans of coke chilled in the fridge just perfect The sea is 100meters away there’s 2 supermarkets just across the road one next to the half way house restaurant never ate here so can’t comment. The summertime bar is brilliant and unlike some comments I’ve seen doesn’t play music to the early hours most nights it was turned off at midnight and a great little chill out bar We were a family of 5 and can’t wait to come back to these villas everything about the villas and staff are perfect the only little niggle would be could do with a bigger safe and put a safe in every bedroom but all the doors and windows are good quality and actually lock properly and the entire complex is gated and has a very good CCTV system. Angela and her team should be very proud because the service they offer is excellent can’t wait to come back The Willis family

A family of 6 we had a wonderful holiday here - lots of great local eateries. Our tip if you fancy a beach day is to walk round past the small port on the left hand side of the beach and settle down at the small bay. Cheaper beds, snorkelling is great and the service of drinks to the beds is great,

As a family of 10 ( youngest 2 & the oldest 82) we had 2 villas this summer. The Villas a set in Beautiful grounds with lots wonderful butterflies fluttering amongst the shrubs. We had 2, 3 bedroom villas that were stunning & well presented . Both villas had fresh food welcome pack in the fridges along with Coffee & Tea in the cupboard. We travelled as a private group & booking therefore Angela arranged for us to be collected in an air conditioned Mercedes Minibus that had room for all our cases and also a wheelchair. On arrival we were met by Angela who directed the driver to our 2 adjacent villas where our driver unloaded our cases etc. Angela showed us around both Villas & fully explained how everything worked. Early every morning the pools were cleaned & checked to make sure they were safe then again The house keeping team came in twice a day to change the linen & the pool towels. Each villa was also cleaned every day. Even though the Villas are set in a, sometimes busy area, at night you could not here the hustle & bustle from what we call the main road up at the top that runs through Tsilvi or nearby venues. We had a wonderful stay here and look forward to coming back in 2020.

We have just returned from an enjoyable fortnight at Mamfredas Resort, Tsivili. Together with my wife and two daughters we stayed in Katarina Villa on the gated, private estate comprised of 8 villas. The villa itself is spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, as is the private pool and pretty gardens. The rooms are all well laid out with lots of home comforts, although the flat screen TVs in every room only actually worked for half of our stay and some of the other electrical items had seen better days. We were surprised that the en suite bathrooms were quite basic by modern standards, with bath attachment shower heads rather than cubicles. The villa was cleaned daily and we soon learned that anything not chained down would be cleared away by the slightly over-zealous cleaners. Not a major problem but we lost count of the number of full kettles of purchased bottled water were unhelpfully tipped down the sink. On a similar note, the pool and patio area was cleaned daily although we did find the gardeners’ habit of just walking into our private garden unannounced whenever he felt like it a bit disconcerting. The gate can only be secured from the outside. During the day the private estate was an oasis of tranquility. Sadly however, things were different after dark when the Summertime Bar over the road often became a magnet for the type of rowdy ‘Brit abroad’ many of us dread. Why do they always know all the lyrics to ‘Come on Eileen’ on repeat until the early hours? If you enjoy a quiet evening on the balcony, and the balconies at these villas are undeniably splendid, then it would be best to request a villa as far away from the bar over the road as possible. The resort of Tsivili is nice enough, with the customary ‘strip’ lined by bar/restaurants and tourist shops all peddling the same stuff. Close your eyes and you could be on the Spanish Costa’s, Balearics, the Algarve or any other generic Med resort. This is not all bad because you know what to expect and there are no nasty surprises here. The downside to eating on the ‘strip’ is that all you get to look at is the continuous stream of trucks, coaches, cars and quad bikes. Oh the quad bikes, they are everywhere, usually driven by a tanned young man with a stubbly beard with a girl in a bikini on the back, both in flip-flops and no helmet, dodging unsuspecting pedestrians and 7 tonne trucks while taking selfies. The road fatality statistics on the Greek islands must be the stuff of nightmares. The villas are nicely situated in a quieter part of town towards the narrow sandy beach. We particularly enjoyed the Halfway House restaurant and found it much nicer to eat in these less-manic areas. All of the local Greek people we met were lovely. Tsivili seemed to be quite a British dominated resort and sadly the only poor behaviour we saw was from our own countrymen. In conclusion, my family all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Mamfredas Resort. It wasn’t cheap, but we appreciated the sanctuary that our gated estate provided, even if we do all now know most of the words to Dexys Midnight Runners greatest hits (was there ever more than one?)
