Here I am writing my overdue review to an amazing place that I will forever cherish!! I visited with my two little boys and we had the best time ever!! Absolutely gorgeous place in in the middle of the Tuscan hills. I still frequently reminisce on our 4 day trip and my boys and I always feel great when we... More

A place with beautiful mountain scenery. Very clean apartment, furnished with rustic Tuscan there were all facilities mentioned in the website. We stayed under the sun and enjoyed the pool, played billiards with friends, I did bike rides and ATV, the weather was beautiful.

We stayed in the Il Balestruccio apartment for a week and just loved it. We could relax inside the apt. and also in our own garden, as well as stroll around the grounds. We were so very tired from the sightseeing in Rome, that we just wanted to be quiet for some days. It was, however, very easy to drive... More

The owners Nara Irene and Enrico make you feel like home every time they see you around. The farm houses are just that: farm houses, nothing fancy but clean, nice and private. The location...amazing. This is the third time for us and every time we have some rest in the middle of nature apart from civilization, but at the same... More

We stayed for five nights at I Nidi di Belforte in spring 2013. It was our first trip to Italy and this place was one of the reasons that we made the decision to return in 2014. We enjoyed being out in the country but with a rental car we were close enough to the train station in Dicomano to... More

Just fantastic!! We went there in september for a short break with our 5yr old son just before the end of the summer holidays. Its an amazing place, away from everything and everyone, up in the hills. The road is not to bad and we found our way quite easily following the directions given, you do need a car however.... More

Was staying at I Nidi di Belforte! When we returned home from our 10 days in Italy (first time for both of us) we have been continually asked what our favorite part was. "Where we stayed!" It was home away from home. Perfect in every way. Highly recommend it to those who want to have a quiet place to be... More
