Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa is lauded for offering great value, especially with its all-inclusive option, although guests have noted additional charges for certain premium offerings. The hotel's location is appreciated for its natural surroundings and access to cycling routes, but some guests suggest that transportation is necessary. Cleanliness is a strong point, with spotless rooms and well-kept grounds, though there are occasional comments about pool maintenance. The vibrant atmosphere and variety of entertainment are celebrated, and while the service is generally excellent, a few guests have experienced slower responses. Rooms are spacious and clean, yet issues with soundproofing have been mentioned.

Great place to stay, I’ve stayed every year for the past 5 years. Cannot fault anything. Staff are helpful, whole place exceptionally clean, drink and food offer on the all inclusive is the best I have ever experienced. There are three restaurants to choose from, all offering different but great quality food. Every year I go I mean to try the Spa but when I get there it’s just so relaxing by the pool I don’t make it! There is an adult pool area and it’s peaceful and easy to get chatting to people.

We had a great experience at PortBlu Club Pollentia with fellow members of our local Triathlon club. The accommodation was basic but clean and well maintained. The choice of restaurants was an added bonus, particularly when the resort was so busy with groups similar to ourselves. The food was excellent and they catered well for dietary requirements such as gluten free. The sports and swimming facilities were good but you must be prepared with booking the swimming pool times for a lane.

I cant fault the hotel the place was lovely the staff were friendly the room was stunning. we had an issue on the first day with our air con leaking and within 20 minutes they were at our room fixing it for us and even got the cleaners in the clean up the leak. The food was good for an all inclusive you're not expecting 5* quality food 3 times a day but the grill aquarius was definitely our favourite place to have lunch. the spa facilities were great for us to use while our son was in kids club. Now this is the only downfall we had with this hotel. Our son would go to the kids club each morning and the girl who was working at the time Millie was a lovely girl and was great with our son. So i would drop off our son and my partner would collect him and one day my partner was approaching the unit to collect our son and he could see a gentlemen holding our child bouncing him up and down. As my partner walked in the gentlemen put my son down and didn't say anything. My partner tried to ease the awkwardness and say that our son was making friends but the gentlemen (who had his kid with him) just walked out. Once my partner returned with our son and told me we went straight to reception to make a complaint where the gentlemen behind the counter was shocked that the staff allowed some random man to hold our child without us even being there. We were then passed onto the manager on shift where she apologised profusely and said it would be investigated. The next morning i had a phone call from the manager and was told to come down to reception to discuss the matter. Maxine was the women we met and she did'nt even apologise for what had happened and made the comment "the man was just being nice and wanted to hold your baby" she could clearly not understand how this was an issue that a random stranger had done this and found it completly normal and made another comment that "our baby was fine". How anyone can think that this is normal to hold someone else's child without their permission is beyond me. So due to help and not even an apology and didn't even follow this up with Millie the kids club staff we had to do it our self. We wont return to this hotel if certain staff find that acceptable.

This is a superb resort. Our 4th visit. We were there for the last week late October/November. We have previously enjoyed the different bars and restaurants. This time only one bar, one restaurant open.. So no adult only facility. That was disappointing. I understand there is a wind down end of season but to have just one of each available was at times chaotic to say the least! Absolutely no notification from the resort or tourist company.. (sneaky). The staff as always are amazing across the resort. The spa facility was excellent again. The gardens are well maintained (except for some of the paths). We felt sorry for the restaurant/catering staff at times as they were under so much pressure due to the one restaurant only! Our room (village) excellent again. Serviced daily. Having a car here is important as it is about 3km’s to either Port Alcúdia or Port Pollentia. Either walk is safe although the road is busy you can walk along the beach most of the way. The bus service is good also. Halloween evening was absolutely fantastic the restaurant and reception area were brilliantly decorated and the staff costumes were just amazing. All staff played their part well. There was a costume competition for the kids on the outside stage. It was lovely to witness..

Dear Stephen M Thank you for taking the time to leave your opinion. Secondly, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the closure of the Ancora restaurant. We made the business decision to close it according to the percentages of booking. But in our Dinario restaurant we offer our customers the best possible service. We invite you to visit us in the coming year and enjoy again the restaurants and bars that we have. Kind regards Hotel Director

I went on family holiday in Port Blue Club and I would like to say that hotel completely cover family expectations. Staffs is very friendly and room are clean and comfortable. Food is excellent and restaurants very well organised. Mini bar was regularly filled as requested, menu in bar is full of different drinks so this was awesome. Resor has two external pool and spa which is available for whole family (one pool is for adults only), also there is internal pool and spa. Spa area is lovely and quiet for relax and also is gym available. There are 6 tennis courts which is very easy to book in reception and also is free wifi available. The only minor negative is external pool water was little cold and night entertainment little weak despite this is excellent hotel and we had fantastic time.

Myself and my two boys (10 and 13) had a really great time here and have no complaints. I’m a bit shocked by some of the bad reviews I saw about this place though. For instance, a few complaining about the quality of the food. We were half board and there was a great amount of choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of choices every meal so we never got bored and wished we were eating elsewhere. And the quality was great, except maybe their sushi wasn’t quite up to Japanese restaurant quality. The staff were all very attentive, polite and friendly. And service was speedy. I did ask to change rooms after the first night because we had the closest room to the main road between the hotel and the sea. It was quite noisy especially for us as we live in a very quiet area in England with no traffic noise. Because of the bad reviews I’d seen I thought moving room might be a problem but it wasn’t at all. A lovely lady called Sylvia couldn’t have been more helpful and our next room was very quiet. It cost 10€ more a night but it was a much nicer room so was worth it. Somebody complained about ducks landing on the beautiful big outdoor pool, saying it was unhygienic. We saw maybe 2 or 3 ducks on the pool sometimes but the pool was spotless and the water crystal clear. I had no concerns about that whatsoever. There is a little beach a short walk from the hotel but we never went because the road next to it is noisy and busy. We had a car and visited a few different beaches within 20 mins drive and they were all great. I think the busy road is the only downside. I would recommend having a car. We would definitely stay again.

Fab hotel for families and groups. Was a lone traveller and there to do some cycling. Hotel was far too out of the main areas for me. Was told there were 2 adult only restaurants - that was important to me. However they were both closed on my arrival for the remainder of the season. Chaotic at meal times due to lots of families and not enough staff - and sometimes food . Don't want to sound like a party pooper as I have children and grandchildren of my own, but it was reduculously busy. Staff did their best and were good. Shocking that have to pay for water at evening meal! Water was available at breakfast via tap but was not available evening. Never experienced that before anywhere.

Overall we had a good time at the hotel! It was a nice location with beautiful surroundings! The Breakfast was good but the dinner situation was not good if you had no all inklusive package! The cleaning personal was very friendly and did a GREAT job! But the other staff was very unfriendly we sadly had a bad start at the reception and the restaurant staff was also not very friendly ! I do not expect very much but at least they could be a little bit more friendly to make the stay more enjoyable :)

Great Resort and place, food a bit monotonous but still great as obviously got to cater for the masses. Facilities and staff all amazing and really helpful, we went half term week kids 14/16yr and although busy there was still plenty of space and things to do. Rooms really smart and ultra tidy with nice balcony’s to chill, (we had apartment style rooms) The whole area closes down from end of October, bars, restaurants etc Alcudia beautiful place and also Port pollensa well worth visit. We will definitely return probably without the kids 😂
