From our correspondence with Wendy prior to our stay, we knew the Old School Bed and Breakfast would be a very special place. And it was! The inviting renovated school house is beautifully decorated, the rooms cozy and well-equipped, and the surrounding area charming. Wendy is an outstanding source of knowledge about the villages, historical sights and travel in the...

Just home after our second visit to this little gem of a place. A wonderful evening spent catching up with fantastic friends. This haven of a place is so much more than a bed and breakfast. Wendy and John together with their team offer a truly personal stay. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is individually tailored to your...

From the minute you step inside this beautiful home, you feel you've come somewhere extra special. From the wonderful welcome you get from the host Wendy, the rooms which are exceptional in terms of comfort and style, the location and then there's the breakfast's to die for, it makes for the perfect getaway. I have stayed in many B&B's, but...

There are great reviews about this B&B. Everyone who has posted gave it 5 stars and there're reasons for that. Situated  between Chipping Norton and Moreton-in-Marsh making it an ideal base for exploring the gentle hills and picturesque villages of the Cotswolds. As far as food goes the breakfasts are something any professional chef would be proud of and the...

What a fabulous get away we had over Christmas. Wendy and John are excellent hosts, and lovely people. It was more like going to stay with friends! We were very well fed, breakfast was incredible every day and the dinners were also home made and delicious. The duck and chicken eggs from Cluckingham Palace have to be tried to be...

Beautiful B&B set in the middle of the Cotswolds near Chipping Norton. 5 minutes walk across a field from a lovely pub. Beautiful country walks all around. Wendy and John are fantastic hosts. The place is stunning and extremely comfortable and welcoming with two lounges to relax in. The breakfast was outstanding. They provided us with maps for our walks...

Where do I start? Firstly, I do not normally stay in B&B's and would usually look for a hotel every time. I have worked away from home for the last 23 years and have stayed in countless hotels all over, home and abroad. After having a look at the Old School House on the web and reading some of the...

This B & B even exceeded our high expectations when we spend a relaxing weekend there in December. A cosy and luxurious retreat tucked away in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds. Wendy and John are the perfect hosts - nothing is too much trouble. Their advice on places to go and things to see is extremely useful. There are...

This year we decided to have a multi generation Christmas get together at The School House and it was the best decision ever. Wendy and John made our time with them amazing. The food is delicious, hospitality is the best and we all felt so 'at home'. The decorations, the trees, cosy rooms and comfy beds..... I've run out of...

I've been many times to the Old School and it's always great. Wendy and John are the best hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is a hoot with like minded people. My advice is to try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
