We stayed for one night as we had been visiting a friend in Quedgley and it is only 10minutes away. Our triple room was clean and comfortable and nice and warm on a chilly wet November night. We did not eat in the evening as we had already been fed by our friend but looking at the menu we will...

Visited on Sunday for family meal and the food was very good. Generous portions and cooked beautifully. Service at bar a bit slow initially but staff were friendly. Waiting staff very good and made us feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will be returning 😊

Went here again for lunch with friends and as usual the food was really good, the choice is varied and the veg are always freshly cooked. The waitress was helpful and cheerful but the same could not be said for the man who (I won't say greeted us it's would be a misnomer). When we arrived he just said "...

Went to The Beacon Inn for Sunday Lunch -it was delicious. You had a choice of lamb ,beef, turkey or pork served with roast potatoes, stuffing, chipolata, Yorkshire pudding plus a large dish of seasonal veg and a dish of cauliflower cheese. Gravy was served in a jug which made a change from not having enough served on the plate....

Met for Sunday lunch with family members from across Europe. The meal was very nice, cooked to perfection and served promptly. My roast beef and yorkshire puddings were delicious, and the quantity, generous. Will certainly be back for roast before long.

Stayed at The Beacon Inn for 2 nights as ideally located just outside Gloucester. Lovely country pub (free house) offering B&B, good choice of drinks and good food. Located approx. 6 miles outside of the city center and just 1 mile off the M5 so easy to get to and around the Cotswolds. We chose to pay extra for a...

We visited for Sunday lunch and were not blown away. I felt the quality had dropped compared to years gone by. This should be the beating heart of the village but it was sad, tired and lifeless. I grew up locally and used to work in the kitchen here about 12 years ago on Sundays while still at school. The...

We stayed here on our drive back from Cornwall to Cheshire and were really pleased to find it so clean and comfortable after being stuck in heavy traffic on the M5! The lady we spoke to on arrival, behind the bar was really friendly and helpful and we were shown to our room after booking a table in the restaurant...
