Our Stay at Aranyakam was what we expected and more. The tree hut had an amazing view and was worth the price that we paid for it! The amenities were basic and met what is expected off a stay in the forest. The food that Neema and Rajesh served us was delicious! A word of advice go there expecting breakfast... More

The have 2 tree huts with best view of the valley. As close to nature as it gets. A nice cozy place, which lights up when the weather is pleasant and not extremes. If you are a nature lover, then this place is a must go for you on any season. Excellent hosts with sumptuous food in the offering. A... More

Food! Food! Lovely home cooked Kerala causine served with lots of love by the lovely hosts! ! Yes that's the high point of this charming place. The accommodation is an old ( probably almost 100 years old ?) Anscestral house within a sprawling coffee estate. It has a quaint old worldly feel. Thankfully it is kept intact along with the... Aranyakam is in the remote interiors of Wayanad; beyond this lovely plantation are thickly forested valleys robed with swirling mists. We stayed in the standard rooms which earlier werved as a barn to store the plantation coffee. The homestay offers stay in treehuts which are about a 100 metres away from the main cottage and dining area; I would not... More

If you wish to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and be surrounded by nature Aranyakam is the perfect place. However, this is a homestay and not a resort. If you are looking for amenities like swimming pool, room service etc, well this is not the place for it. But this is definitely a home away from... More

Aranyakam is in the most wonderful location, we stayed in one of the treehouses which has stunning views over the forest valley below. The food was delicious and Neema and Rajesh were incredibly welcoming hosts - making us feel like invited guests rather than paying customers. They were having their annual puja when we arrived but despite this they still... More

We spent a couple of days at Aranyakam during our last trip to wayanad. Situated in lush locales, the homestay is truly in the lap of mother nature. We lived in the standard rooms as the treehouses were not available. It was good to have modern amenities in the room when you are amidst nature. The food was top notch;... More

We stayed in both treehouses at Aranyakam. Both were exceptional and a very special experience, we spent hours on the balconies just relaxing on the chairs and taking in the misty valley and the sounds of the wildlife. It's hard to put this into words, but is something I won't forget soon. The food was, by far, the BEST we... More

This place is really amazing. It is in a beautiful location with walking and wildlife all on the property. We stayed in the tree hut which has a view over the valley and is extremely peaceful. The food was excellent. Rajesh and all the rest of the team couldn't be more helpful and welcoming.

I have stayed in many hotels and homestays in India and abroad, but never had any experience like Aranyakam. We booked the tree hut nested inside the coffee and spice plantation for two days and the memory will remain alive for life long for sure. The hut is very tastefully built by wood and all natural materials and has 24... More
